I ordered these to have a good shoe for "chasing" athletes around on the cross country course. However, with snow in Michigan I thought I would give them a go to run in. They have been great for being pretty grippy in the snow and they have the classic Hoka light feeling to them. They are comfortable, but SLIGHTLY narrow for me, but that may change as I wear them more and the size is still true. I've only run in them 4-5 times with my longest run being 5 miles, but they have been a solid road and snowy road shoe so far!

I use these during my jogs and playing badminton and they provide good cushioning to my feet.

The description said these were in the plush cushioning category so I decided to give them a try. I have not been disappointed. I bought in mens as they are usually darker and brighter colors and more roomy for ly toe area. I work in the OR and on my feet the entire day. My feet have not been sore or tired. These are my favorites along with the Cliftons. Used to be an ASICS fan but have been converted to Hoka fan.

I was looking for something with a bit tougher sole than a Bondi, and some extra traction for walking and running around in Durango and it local trails. 30 day on them the soles are solid. The shoe has good cushion for bigger runners ( my dog love long walks/hikes with running section ) So far traction has been good when there is fresh snow on the ground and on the local trails . They are slippery on heavily packed snow/ice ( but I throw on metal spike when it like this or move Vibram sole shoe on these days)

This was a gift for my son to replace the same shoes he bought a long time ago. He is well pleased.

I use this shoe as I have others at my place of work. I am constantly on my feet and Hokas are the only shoes that keep my feet comfortable all day. I think the bondi 8 is just a slightly more comfortable shoe.

I'm a Fedex Delivery Driver in Fort Myers, Florida. I bought the Hoka Challenger 7 shoes after extensive research. I needed a pair of shoes that were quick, light, stable, and offered traction on a variety of terrain. I wore the shoes for a month and 1 week and they were the best shoes I have worn. Unfortunately the tread on both shoes have started coming off. I'm not sure if its due to the hot asphalt I run on all day or if its a manufacturer defect. I purchased the Challenger 8 shoes. When I receive them I will process a return for the challenger 7 shoes.

Fit and size for wide foot with low arch was decent -- including separate inserts -- but material quality wasn't great. The pair I'm wearing now aren't even a year old, but with just regular, light walking on roads/sidewalks they have rips and tears in multiple places and the soles are pretty shredded.

Somewhat disappointed that the shoe came in a narrower width across the ball of my foot than that which I dad previously purchased. Not as comfortable with my plantar fasciitis.

as the headline says, it is a good shoe. However, I thought they would be more cushiony and comfortable than they are. They feel a little stiff and maybe not as forgiving as I was expecting. I only walk in them, not a runner. May be better for a runner.

Great color but way too narrow. Took them off after an hour. They would not allow a return only an exchange and no wide available in this style.

The Challenger 7 is not as cushiony as I need. I will have to wear them for short periods - So I can't wear them all day like I can the Bondi model. Hopefully they will get better.

My husband lived these shoes. I thought I ordered them in a wide but they did not come in wide. We sent them back and got a different shoe that he liked. The second was more expensive but they fit better.

Shoes style was very nice. Eye catching coloer. However, i ordered D size which was tight on my feet and uncomfortable. So i suggest to go for extra wide width shoe.

It just felt like my feet weren’t fully IN the shoe. My heels felt like they were on the verge of slipping out.
