Love this shoe. Fits my feet very well and is sure footed on the trails.

I bought this sneaker for my husband. He takes a wide width and, besides New Balance sneakers, there are limited options for a good, wide width, trail sneaker. He really likes this Hoka sneaker and, if he likes it, it has to be good!

I have to say these are the most comfortable Hoka Shows I have had. However, the reason why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because the don't know how long they are going to last. I only had four 5K runs and I already see the outer sole protectors are starting to deteriorate quickly. This is not just in this pair of shoes, but also my Bindi X and the Rincn 3. I was going to buy the Clifton 9. It decided to get the Brooks Hyperion Max (had the tempo which last me years) instead. I will still buy some more Hokas but will keep an eye on how the sole gets better.

This is my second pair of Hokas and they are my go to running shoe now. I am a casual runner/walker/hiker and the Challenger 7 can handle them all if needed. They are very versatile and really comfortable. Highly recommend.

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes really alleviate the pain. They are super comfortable. They only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars are that the colors are so ugly. I found a gray pair that were pretty good looking. It would be nice to there were some other more muted colors. I will definitely buy these again

These shoes get me a lot of attention on the trail and off. No more sacrificing style for comfort. Also, if you have a wide foot like me, grateful for the fun colors. If I had one complaint with most shoe manufacturers these days, the lack of fun colors for the wide sizes. Apparently us wide footed folks are boring and unadventurous. Thanks for giving me some excitement. Also, I really hope we will get some hiking boots in the wide size. Thanks for listening and for changing my life with your comfortable product.

I'm finally running again and it largely has to do with finding a great supportive shoe that meets all my needs. Hoping these last a good while, but I already want a pair for kicking around the house as well!

Great! Until I stepped on a sharp stick. Came all the way in to the insert. I am returning for another pair just like it because they are soooo comfy!!!

Feels very efficient. Geat for being on your feet long hours. The heel has a steep angle to it unlike the Speedgoat and Bondi. So the heel feels a lot different.

Its ok but its not as comfortable as the bondi 8. And wide seems bigger but then exact size feels tight and hurts foot later the day wearing it.

I ordered these to have a good shoe for "chasing" athletes around on the cross country course. However, with snow in Michigan I thought I would give them a go to run in. They have been great for being pretty grippy in the snow and they have the classic Hoka light feeling to them. They are comfortable, but SLIGHTLY narrow for me, but that may change as I wear them more and the size is still true. I've only run in them 4-5 times with my longest run being 5 miles, but they have been a solid road and snowy road shoe so far!

The description said these were in the plush cushioning category so I decided to give them a try. I have not been disappointed. I bought in mens as they are usually darker and brighter colors and more roomy for ly toe area. I work in the OR and on my feet the entire day. My feet have not been sore or tired. These are my favorites along with the Cliftons. Used to be an ASICS fan but have been converted to Hoka fan.

I was looking for something with a bit tougher sole than a Bondi, and some extra traction for walking and running around in Durango and it local trails. 30 day on them the soles are solid. The shoe has good cushion for bigger runners ( my dog love long walks/hikes with running section ) So far traction has been good when there is fresh snow on the ground and on the local trails . They are slippery on heavily packed snow/ice ( but I throw on metal spike when it like this or move Vibram sole shoe on these days)

I use this shoe as I have others at my place of work. I am constantly on my feet and Hokas are the only shoes that keep my feet comfortable all day. I think the bondi 8 is just a slightly more comfortable shoe.

I'm a Fedex Delivery Driver in Fort Myers, Florida. I bought the Hoka Challenger 7 shoes after extensive research. I needed a pair of shoes that were quick, light, stable, and offered traction on a variety of terrain. I wore the shoes for a month and 1 week and they were the best shoes I have worn. Unfortunately the tread on both shoes have started coming off. I'm not sure if its due to the hot asphalt I run on all day or if its a manufacturer defect. I purchased the Challenger 8 shoes. When I receive them I will process a return for the challenger 7 shoes.

Fit and size for wide foot with low arch was decent -- including separate inserts -- but material quality wasn't great. The pair I'm wearing now aren't even a year old, but with just regular, light walking on roads/sidewalks they have rips and tears in multiple places and the soles are pretty shredded.
