At first, the show great. But after about two weeks, it feels that as of the shoe has gone flat I don't have very much arch support and at this point it feels like its some other random brand. I feel it does not hold up to the quality of Hoka. I should've chosen a trail shoe with more stability.

I am a size 9 in women 7 in men but the sneakers I purchased felt tight I would have gotten one size bigger not as comfortable as I thought they would be.

I'm a long time Hoka customer, at least 6 pair and a pair of boots, I have to say I'm disappointed in last 2 purchases (I was able to return both for full refund), the shoes are not near as comfortable and fit was not the same as before. I am going to go to a store now and give em one more shot bc I have always absolutely loved them.

I got these instead of Speedgoat 6 due to poor reviews thinking they would be a good buy. Unfortunately these shoes are not great for me. After having run 10 miles in them (two 5 mile sessions) I found that they tend to make the bottom of my feet burn, my legs tend to fatigue sooner and I am more sore than I used to be with Speedgoat 5. I probably should have just stuck with the Speedgoat line.

Fit well but this style of Hoka was not comfortable for me. I own 18 pairs of Hokas, I won’t buy any more of this style. I really liked the color combination though, just not comfortable enough. I love my other Hokas.

Recommended by a Hoka support person in combination with the better fitting Bondi 9. This is not bad, but needed 1/2 size larger to fit properly. Downside: toe box significantly tighter than Bondi 9, and flat sole makes it awkward feeling on flat surfaces.

I liked the shoe and the lightweight solid feel and wanted to keep it. However upon trying it indoor a few times times, noticed that I was getting a patellar tendinitis on my right knee and decided to return the shoe.

I absolutely loved the Challenger 5 ATR shoe. There are some changes with the 7's that my feet just aren't loving.

The challenger 7s are my 13th pair of Hokas , so to say the least, I am pretty sold out on the Hoka brand. However, if the challenger 7s were the only Hoka style that I knew of, I would be very disappointed overall. I have several different styles of Hokas, and these are the least comfortable. They look great, but come up short on comfort, for me.

Needed shoes for plantar fasciitis (along with rehab, strength, stretch, etc) and these were surprisingly helpful. In only 2 months !! (mostly walking rotating with other shoes and untying shoes before taking off), the inside fabric has started to wear in both shoes. I've had other shoes that last for years. Perhaps getting too popular and large company so to reduce costs are using inferior products. I've read other people experiencing similar issues all around.

Rt. shoe hurt my foot from the first try on but I gave it a couple of weeks to get used to it. Did not work. The seam on the inside of the outside that attaches to the side of the tongue and the side of the shoe has irritated my foot and I had to quit wearing them

This is my second pair of Challengers. They're really comfortable and supportive for hiking and running. My biggest complaint is the weird heel notch that HOKA has decided to put on a lot of their shoes. It's really awkward and annoying if you decide to wear them with pants.

Very tight shoe. I had to double check they were 2E width. I will continue to break in the shoes only because of how expensive they are. Otherwise I'd throw them in the trash. Soles are very stiff. May change them out.

The color and style were awesome, but despite the thickness of the soles, they felt very hard. Made my heels burn. Maybe it was the knobby treads.

I buy 9 2ee because 9 is pretty narrow for my foot.At first very comfortable.Take couple days for foot to settle in. But two months wearing them for work insert wrinkles under ball of foot very uncomfortable. Replace insert with new one from Birkenstock Air cushion and work weary well. And about 3 months wear heal lining inside start falling a part.

Extremely disappointed. I had another pair of Challenger 7's & they were perfect out of the box. Loved the width, depth of toe box, cushion, the grip for both road and trail. These were clearly marked 2E, but they were more narrow & the toe box was dramatically more shallow than my original pair. I contacted HOKA & they said they didn't make any changes mid-season, but there is something that has changed & negatively so for anyone with wide feet that need a deep toe box. These put my toes to sleep & hurt a bunionette on one foot. Hoping HOKA will address as the Speedgoats are even narrower w/ an even more shallow toe box, & Stinson doesn't come in a wide. Intentionally purchased these before a new season & possible changes. Loved my original Challenger 7's in wide, but had to return these.

Thought these would be really comfortable right out of the box for my wrecked feet. They will need some break in. Will give a follow up with review. My Under Armour charged assert 10s are amazingly comfortable compared to these. Will give a follow on feedback.

This is a nice shoe, like all Hoka's, but the problem was the wide size wasn't wide. I have the Clifton 9s in wide and they are truly wide. The Challenger 7's wide was not wide. It felt very tight in the toe box with not much give of the material. I have super wide feet, so maybe this problem is unique to me. Other than that, the shoe was very nicely made and I'm sure would be a great shoe for someone with more normal width feet.

They looked really cheap with silk screened graphics and iron on vinyl. Just not impressed for the price.
