Have purchased multiple Clifton and this pair was a full size smaller.

These must be faulty....incredibly worn down after just two weeks. They provide no support anymore.

Gave me horrible pain after wearing for a few days. I thought maybe it was just all the walking. Nope. It was 100% this shoe. I’ve never had such pain from a running shoe.

The Hoka Clifton 9 shoes run narrow and are about a half size too small. Despite their reputation for comfort and cushioning, they didn't work well for me. I even ordered the extra-wide version but the toe box was still too narrow. Disappointed as I was looking forward to getting this pair.

These took my PF and bumped it by a 1000 factor. I can't tell you how much pain I've been in since I used these shoes. I'm really bummed because of all the hype how they help PF and now it's WORSE than ever. I don't know how but walking a mile has left me hobbled the next day. Terribly painful shoes.

The Clifton 9 arch changed from the Clifton 8 and didn't give a medial arch support but more lateral support, which isn't good for a flatfooted person...

The description on the Hoka website described these shows as “neutral” however I found them to be the opposite. I supinate slightly, so I need a neutral shoe, these shoes only exaggerated the problem, the support in these shoes is very much for a runner that pronates. It is not a neutral shoe. I wore these once, and it was one time too many. Very disappointed with my purchase. I can’t return them as I have worn them once.

I am struggling to find a sneaker for peripheral neuropathy The HOKA Clifton 9's were still too narrow in the "shoe box". My outer toes scream at me even with Gabapentin and Tylenol Arthritis in my system. I have tried other brands before this order from you and other suppliers. The toe boxes are always chafing my outer toes! I surrender - neuropathy wins!

Long time Clifton user. I ordered two pairs (a Clifton 8 and Clifton 9) on May 24th. The top edge of the Clifton 9 is digging into the inside of my ankle. Uncomfortable for long runs. Used only twice, and stopped wearing. The Clifton 8 feels great.

This is 2nd pair that falls apart so quick. They are so comfortable though. Unfortunately I may have to pass on future purchases.

These shoes barely lasted 5 weeks of regular outdoor runs. The soles are separating from the shoes and the foam is in horrible condition compared to every other brand of running shoe I have owned. Wouldn't even recommend these at half their MSRP. What a waste.

These shoes don't offer anything modern for a running shoe. They're not breathable, have pathetic arch support, and don't feel good on foot. Running in crocs or barefoot is easier than running in these bottom heavy dumpsters. Would not recommend hoka for any road running shoe/gear

I purchased them on may 5th today is the 2st I have 64 miles on them so far and the soles are about worn out. I doubt I'll make it to 100 miles before they are completely done. The inside of the shoe is very comfortable. When you spend this much on a shoe I expected to get more then a month out of them.

fit was great; quality of shoes was awful. after only 45 miles (all on a rubber belted treadmill) the side and edge of heels are literally crumbling. Never had this on any shoe, particularly on Hoka's. Very disappointing.

Too stiff and blistered my feet even after a few different distance runs. Not a fan of the Clifton's but loved the Arahi's. Need to get a different pair

Clifton 7s & 8s were just an AMAZING feeling and looking sneaker. Why would you change it from being breathable mesh to that cheesy material? Hope with Clifton 10 you take it back to its roots

I wrote these for a day and was told they look terrible. Also told they look like old man orthopedic shoes. And I agree with both opinions.
Even if I could put up with how awful they look, there was something wrong with the bottoms or something. The shoes caused my knees to bend towards each other. I looked like I had broken legs when walking. No other shoe I have ever worn in my entire life have done that.
I had really high hopes for these but returned immediately.

I have been wearing older models of the Clifton with my most recent model being the 7's where I tend to buy multiple units to store and use as needed.
I totally missed the major changes with the 8's and the new 9's were a huge surprise to me. I was very unhappy with the reduced quality including only having one side of the tongue gusseted, reduced lacing points and what appears to be a change in the fit/last used to make the shoe.
I always go up a half size on Hoka shoes Vs my actual size and wore Hoka's to hike the entire Appalachian Trail. The changes to this shoe has caused me to move to a different brand to get the fit and quality I expect and am willing to pay for. Too bad Hoka missed it on this one by cheapening the shoe and raising the price to boot.
