The left shoe was significantly lower than the right shoe. when visually compared carefully you can see that it is a manufacturing flaw

We’ve been wearing this shoe for years, the quality has totally been changed. I had to switch to another brand. So sad !

very comfortable but I find that the soles wear out withing 8 months of daily wear

I bought these shoes two months ago for my husband and I don’t believe they are already ripped apart. He wears them just for the morning walking exercise. I never recommend.

It was not made right. Fabric on top was wrinkled and not sewn probably. So disappointed to return it.... and surprised that this shoe made it past the "quality process".

First of all I Iove Zappos and I say this right up front as I have never had cause to return anything I have ever ordered from them. I am only submitting this review as I believe that Zappos is authentically concerned about their products and truly want customers to provide feedback be it positive or negative in nature. I ordered a Men's Bondi 7.5 as I liked the color selection better. I wear a women's 9.5 tennis shoe. The men's 7.5 that arrived was very small and, when I measured, it was almost an inch shorter than my women's Hokas 9.5s. It was also narrow and all in all due to these factors was unwearable. Thank you Hokas for the excellent customer service and products you have always provided me - this was definitely an outlier to my usual Zappos experience.

The shoe felt tight and not comfortable.

Very cheaply made, these fell apart after a week of wear.

These shoes don’t work as a Pickleball shoe for me. I have a pair of New Balance B996 that I have used for 2 years and love. I tried to replace them and the Hoka Clifton 9 was the closest I could find. After one day on the court I realized the Hoka is a very dangerous shoe for me. It is not stable like the New Balance B996. The wider softer base and softer heal made it very unstable. I was very concerned about falling. I just had my left shoulder replaced and a fall would be a disaster. So I ordered the New Balance Fuel Cell 996v5 Pickleball. I don’t like the color because it is too conservative, but I am sure the shoe will be great for playing.

Second pair that lasted less than two week. My son used to love these shoes but I guess they aren't making them like they use to.

After three months of wearing these shoes as work shoes (3x a week, in a carpeted office), the bottom of the shoe started to fall apart. They are not worth the price--felt very cheaply made.

Sole near toe came undone after less than a week of use (work at a hospital). Will be returning. This is my second pair and loved the first so not sure what to think.

I just ordered the wrong size; D was too narrow and I had to return them. Zappos did a great and efficient job of helping me return the item and refunding my money. It invites you to do business with them again.

Have purchased multiple Clifton and this pair was a full size smaller.

These must be faulty....incredibly worn down after just two weeks. They provide no support anymore.

Gave me horrible pain after wearing for a few days. I thought maybe it was just all the walking. Nope. It was 100% this shoe. I’ve never had such pain from a running shoe.

The Hoka Clifton 9 shoes run narrow and are about a half size too small. Despite their reputation for comfort and cushioning, they didn't work well for me. I even ordered the extra-wide version but the toe box was still too narrow. Disappointed as I was looking forward to getting this pair.

These took my PF and bumped it by a 1000 factor. I can't tell you how much pain I've been in since I used these shoes. I'm really bummed because of all the hype how they help PF and now it's WORSE than ever. I don't know how but walking a mile has left me hobbled the next day. Terribly painful shoes.

The Clifton 9 arch changed from the Clifton 8 and didn't give a medial arch support but more lateral support, which isn't good for a flatfooted person...

The description on the Hoka website described these shows as “neutral” however I found them to be the opposite. I supinate slightly, so I need a neutral shoe, these shoes only exaggerated the problem, the support in these shoes is very much for a runner that pronates. It is not a neutral shoe. I wore these once, and it was one time too many. Very disappointed with my purchase. I can’t return them as I have worn them once.

I am struggling to find a sneaker for peripheral neuropathy The HOKA Clifton 9's were still too narrow in the "shoe box". My outer toes scream at me even with Gabapentin and Tylenol Arthritis in my system. I have tried other brands before this order from you and other suppliers. The toe boxes are always chafing my outer toes! I surrender - neuropathy wins!

After just 2 months, the $150 pair of shoes are falling apart. nobody wants to warranty them.
