The sides of the shoe rubbed against my ankle bone painfully. I returned them. Also, they make my feet look larger than other shoes do.

Purchased in June for my son who’s on his feet at work. Unfortunately he wore them in a pick-up basketball game after work and the side split on one shoe. So while they were comfortable for him, these shoes didn’t hold up in real life situations.

Very comfortable and has a soft ride. Unfortunately they have a very thin sole. They changed the sole from the previous model. I don’t think I have 60 miles on them and they’re trash. Very disappointed

I was very excited to get these shoes after reading reviews, and asking people in-person how they felt. Unfortunately, my feet hurt quite a bit wearing these, especially on the outer edge and top. I didn't want to return them immediately, because I figured I needed to break them in, but after a month, I think the verdict is in. These aren't for me.

I am disappointed that both pairs of Hoka's failed to provide me with any relief from neuropathy. Consequently, I wish to return both pairs for a full refund.

The only thing wrong with this shoe is how NOISY they are! Every step is a very loud "squeak" and it never got better after a small amount of use.

The Clifton 9 was a total disappointment. I've worn the Clifton 8's and love them... The support in the 9 just isn't there. Tried them for a few days and my feet were aching after a few hours.....

they fit well, just a little bigger than my normal 11.5 and I did like the way they looked but didn't think they were comfortable.

If you have size 15 or higher, don't bother with these shoes. You'll look like a damn clown. I am about 6'5, and with these I felt like I was gonna hit the doorways in my house. Like Victor Wembayana. SUPER comfy, but in a "I'm wearing actual king-size pillows on my feet, and I look like an idiot" kinda way.

These feel great and gave my husband relief for some of the issues he had with other shoes. The issue with these shoes is that they are not made well. He has worn them for about a week and it is evident that the soles are wearing down too soon. If money is no object and you do not mind this, then go ahead. Frankly at this price point it is a huge disappointment. I do not mind paying for a quality shoe but I find this beyond disappointing. For reference he is not an athlete and walks for health reasons and weight control. He walks about 2 miles in the am and 2 miles in the pm. I don't think that is anything radical that would wear out a well made shoe in a week.
