Like them quite a bit, but it feels like there is something pushing against my arch all day. My old pair didn't do that and I'm not sure what the problem is. Keep thinking that they'll break in some, but it just isn't happening. Unfortunately, with this issue, I can't wear them all day or my feet hurt at night.

This is a shoe, actually, a pair of them. You wear them on your feet, especially when you go outdoors. They have laces and soles, shoe-type things. They're fine.

I have run in Cliftons for 5 - 6 years with a US size 12.5 always fitting perfectly until the Clifton 9, which feels too tight for me in the toe box, and squeezes my toes together. I have run approximately 60 miles in the 9s attempting to break them in, but it does not appear they are going to work for me. I am hoping the Clifton 8s continue to be made, or that a next gen Clifton 10 will address the matter.

I purchased these shoes for all day wear as I work in the medical field and am on my feet 12 hours a dayI've only had my shoes for a week and day 2 of wearing my feet were hurting. They have not provided arch or heel support. I like the color of the shoes as they match my scrubs well but the color cannot provide comfort. If looking good is the goalbuy them. If comfort is the goal, keep shopping.

The size wa good, but they do not have any ankle support for pronators. I almost sprained an ankle walking down a trail.

I was so excited to try these shoes! I am usually a Saucony die hard but after hearing nothing but good things about these, I decided to give them a try. I have been using these shoes for my easy/recovery runs since 8/1/23. They fit and feel amazing. However, I only have 32 miles on these shoes and the left shoe is now making a loud squawking sound every time I take a step. It sounds like a duck is yelling at me every time I lift my foot. I run without headphones most of the time so this is rather annoying. The sound is so loud that I can't even hold a conversation with a running partner present. I am going to try to continue to use these because they are comfortable although I am worried these will need to be retired early if I can't get over the angry duck sound.

The Clifton 9 are fine, functional shoes...however, they do not match my appreciation for my Gaviota's. The G's were my first pair and set the standard. The Clifton's feel like a step down, not narly as solid or plush. I like it to the feeling when you close the door or trunk on a Corolla or Civic you get a tinny sound or feel, but do the same on a better quality car you get a solid sound and feel...just gives you a better feeling.

I am giving those product thee stars I enjoyed the quality and look of the shoe as well as the quick process to ship it to my house as well as an easy return process, where I'm getting frustrated is that I just wanted a minimal white shoe but the regular fit was too narrow for my feet so I thought no big deal I'll get the same one in wide, come to find out that the selection of wide shoes is very much a joke and aesthetics/colors are important for me and the fact that I could not even find a white shoe in wide is annoying.

Your shoe finder is inaccurate so the shoes didn't fit.

I will keep looking for a brand that my feet will be happy in. I bought this product on recommendations from others. After only a couple of hours my feet began to feel the same as the cheaper lines of shoes. I walk and stand 85% of my day.

This was intended as an everyday walking shoe. The toe box is narrower than on my Hoka leather Bondi shoes. I get a slight rub on the insides of my big toes, which, fortunately, are already calloused. I have compared the new shoes to the Bondi model, and they are visibly narrower.

I wear a 10 in every shoe I've ever owned, but this one was narrow and also tight in the toe. Sent them back to try a size 10.5.

The Clifton 9 isn't as comfortable as the Clifton 8 was. They're slightly wider and longer but not a full half size. The heel slips a bit. My wife bought the women's Clifton 9 and has even more trouble with heel slippage. She put a heel insert in the back to help but it's still not great for her. She loves her Clifton 8 shoes and has 2 pairs of them. It's too bad you can't get the Clifton 8 and that they changed it this way. The Hokas are back to being those clunky looking shoes they used to be when they first came out many years ago.

Over the years I've purchased the Clifton 8 - I have 5 pairs which are the only shoes that I wear. They get rough treatment as I use them for hiking, biking and everyday wear. Moved on to the Clifton 9 without getting my feet resized at the local Fleet Feet store. That was a mistake - they don't feel right so before I purchase my next pair I'll go get resized.

One thing I have noticed is that the bottom (tread) seems to be wearing quickly. I spend a lot of time walking on concrete and blacktop and can see the wear after a couple weeks. Hopefully this trend levels off or they will have little tread left in a couple months.

Cushioning is spot on, reverting to a more responsive feel similar to Clifton 7. Gone is the squishy cloud feel of the 8s. Extremely disappointing that a running shoe company could so poorly screw up lace spacing. This is a new Clifton issue that I would only expect from a low quality brand. The top laces (not counting the extra lace lock holes) are way too high on the ankle (causing hot spots and not allowing for tighter lacing) and insufficient options to lower with too few lacing holes available. I'm personally not happy with the increased overall height of the cushioning, as I'm nursing a rolled ankle, but that might just be me. Clifton 7 had a nice low ride. Ultimately a big Clifton fan, would love to see fewer wholesale changes from shoe to shoe, stick with what's work so well for this shoe, and keep up the good work. I dread having to go back to Nike. Thanks Hoka

I have some ARAHI 6 that I love, thought these would be even better. I can't move my toes in them which is super annoying.

I use the shoes for walking daily after work on a blacktop walking trail. Roughly 3 miles per day. The soles started shredding after only about give or take 110 miles of walking. I generally wear out the outside treads on most shoes/boots. These wore badly on the inside heel and made my foot start pitching in as I walk. Which has never been the case. I'm currently trying to figure out how to return them. They were awesome for about a 1 1/2 months. Loved my 8's and they didn't wear like this.

Things I loved about the shoe: very light weight, soft fabric, plenty of toe box room, good fit, comfortable. Things I didn't like: the beveled heel kept throwing my balance off. Kept tipping backward when I just stood in the shoes. I wish they would get rid of the beveled toe or just offer an option. Second: I thought I would love the cushy tread but it felt like running in marshmallows. You sink in with each step. Made running hard and a bit jarring.
