Very comfortable with great support! I tell you it takes impact of walking or running yet runs large. Plenty of toe room and on the wide side so if your foot is narrow this may not be the shoe for you. I'd recommend ordering a half size smaller than you normally would for a great fit.

Then tend to throw me into heal valgus when I walk. Maybe I'll get used to it.

I use them for the gym and walking. They helped noticeably with foot pain. I didn't order wide so if I had a do over I would've done that. I have to wear thinner socks, but with the thin socks they fit just fine.

I wear them at work. They are great for walking and standing on concrete. I wish they came in more colors.

Had a pair of Clifton 8s. Loved them. These are firmer and have a narrower feel. This did take several weeks to break in while the 8s took virtually not time at all. I'm noticing the inside of the shoe rubs up against the top of my feet and my heel. Love the color though and stability.

I have purchased 2 pair of Clifton 7 and 8. They are were exceptional purchases. I purchased a pair of Clifton 9. Totally feel the same when you put them on. For some reason after put them and begin to walk or jog the left shoe causes me pain on the top of my left foot right below where I tie shoe. Very painful and uncomfortable. I also use new Brooks Ghost. Never a problem with them. Disappointing for sure.

The Clifton 9 is a great shoe, but it would be even better if it occasionally went on sale.

The shoes feel good. I have a bone spur in plantar fasciitis, so I’m hoping this will help me be able to walk a bit.

This is my first pair of hocus. I really love the comfort and style. Not too happy about the large tab at the top of the heel but it does make it easier to slip the shoes on. I will definitely purchase another pair in the future. I wish they kept a larger inventory in the other styles in a wide fit.

I originally ordered the normal version since I have never needed a wider version. It took one day to realize that they were extremely narrow and the pressure points on my feet were throbbing in pain. I'm a nurse and work 12+ hour shifts so good footwear is vital. To date all I have worn are Ecco shoes and they have been great. However about half of my unit wears Hoka and praise them so I wanted to try them out. A few things to consider are the wide base, rocker build of the shoe, and of course the width. It takes some getting used to, but after having worked 12+ shifts I can confidently say that they are a great shoes for people on their feet all day. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I have yet to discover how long they will last and other factors that can only be assessed after a lengthy period of time.

These definitely feel different than other sneakers with the extra cushioning. I don't feel as sore in my back and legs later in the day after a long walk than I did with my Saucony's. They are pretty expensive though.

Shoes have a high arch which takes getting used to. The shoe forces weight forward so more weight is on the toes which takes a few days to get acclimated. The shoe has a stiff center which along with the arch is probably helpful for anyone who has suffered with plantar fasciitis. The shoe felt tight in width but seems better as adjusted the laces to accommodate the extra space required now seems ok. Still getting used to the new gait and could be a 5 star rating it now 4-4.5. The Doctor.

I am an old guy so the running days are over. I do like a good shoe for the times I do not wear sandals.
