nice shoe, but too narrow, might simply be I need a wide width, but if you believe you're anything more than D width, suggest W

The width was great as well as the support but my heel was slipping up/out with each step and needed to exchange.

Son wore them to work yesterday. The only complaint was that his arches hurt but other than that he liked the shoes. Hoping this improves with time. He has been suffering for months with foot pain because his shoes did not fit right. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the shoes.

These are nice, but for my problem of plantar fasciitis, the gaviota is a better feel.

the heal doesn't feel well cushioned, but the arch has lots of cushion. I hope these will relieve some of my foot pain while on my feet at work.

The Clifton has a higher heel tab that makes it difficult to wear with long legs pants. I'll try the Hooka Bondi which has a smaller heel tab.

I can walk into our local running store and get these for $30 dollars less! I will be supporting my small local running store! Zappos you need to do better!

The toe box just seems low and narrow. I also bought the GTX, and that feels great!! Same exact size.

Once your foot stretches it out, it's extremely comfortable. You have to wear it for 10-15 minutes to fully appreciate the size as it's cut on the smaller size.

Hoka puts these in the middle of the level of cushioning, however they feel more plush than their Bondi 8s. I loved the Bondi 7s, but they used new cushioning material in the Bondi 8s and even tho they call them plush, they feel just medium. All the plush cushioning was given to this Clifton 9. My knees love them. I'm not too crazy about the shoe horn looking thing on the back and they fit higher on the foot than the Bondi 8s do. The tongue is longer and squished against my shin. Why so long? As far as fit, the Clifton 9s fit me great in a Woman's 10.5 D (wide), but I liked the Men's white with the black lettering so I ordered a 9 D. They were more narrow than the woman's D! So fortunately the color I wanted was offered in the Men's wide 9 EE. Hoka doesn't offer many colors in their Wide sizes unfortunately. The 9 EE fit great despite the long tongue. I just have to avoid the habit of pulling the tongue before lacing up so it's not too bothersome. I overlook the tongue because I the cushioning is a dream. If only my Bondi 8s that are supposed to be plush had this cushioning like this bc I love the look the chunky look of those. sidenote...I am only going to order thru Zappos now instead of directly thru Hoka now that I have Amazon Prime. I have had horrible issues with Hoka's customer service and their shipping process has been slow, as well as exchanging process. For the investment cost of Hoka's, I expected better and not pay and extra $30 for expedited shipping. They offered me that for free one time on an order and it still took a week to receive them from CA to the midwest. Zappos took 1 day. ONE DAY.

Shoes feel like they should be half size longer. I normally wear a size 10 and I got these at 10 1/2 and my toe just touches. They are comfortable

I like Hokas, but for the money you would think the insole would be better. Size was true.
