My only disappointment was the short string holder( for ankle support) broke off my first attempt at tieing them up..

I am having difficulty getting used to the wide sole on the heel of the shoe. When I walk, the inside heel on my left foot strikes the upper inside portion of the shoe on my right foot; the material is already beginning to show wear after one 6 mile hike. Also, I was hoping for/expecting a bit more ankle support.
The shoes are extremely comfortable to wear.

Just started breaking them in. Concerned about the upper lace hooks.

Love the look, comfort provided by this shoe, replacing a 5.11 desert boot. Great off road, but a bit wild on smooth surfaces when damp. I.e. a garage floor after work or hike. I survived, but worry about a damp hike on rock. I will still wear them until they fall off, but knowledge is power.

I was looking for a non-gortex mid shoe for hiking and these definitely checked my blocks. They feel good, but I think a different lacing technique might make them feel better. Wide sizing would have definitely made them a 5-star shoe in my opinion. Overall I'm happy though.

These boots have a lot to offer in the way of solid construction and flexibility however Hoka continues to make shoes designed for people with wide feet. Their medium width is actually a wide. this complaint about Hoka continues as this boot reflects their Wide shoe construction. If you have normal to narrow feet this shoe and others will have extra room for your feet to move around during movement. The overall construction of Hokas do make up for their decision to make shoes that are too wide so I still recommend.

I'm a cop, and bought these for on duty use. I expected the cushy HOKA feel, as I've owned and run in many, many pairs of HOKAs. These have a decent upper, but pretty stiff, low padded Vibram sole. Not what I expected. I will keep them and put a couple HOKA sock liners in them. That helped. I'll probably consider something different next time for this use.

Using these boots for work was the best decision I've made in footwear. Very light and comfortable for these hot days.

Left heel feels like it's digging in my heel from the liner . Fabric material looks worn and faded.

Can't say anything good about these boots as the lace lock broke the first time I tried to put them on. I read reviews that also said the lace lock broke easy but I ignored them. There is an obvious flaw in the lace logs of these boots that cause them to snap right off the base that is sewn into the boot. There is no way to fix it once it's broken. Save the hassle of returning them and wait for the second version to come out.

Awesome shoe, great natural stride, good cushioning. BUT - like most othe Hoka shoes, it's on the narrow side.

Very lightweight, comfortable for all day hikes on hot days, breathable and just happen to be good looking. I wear the Sky Kaha as my daily boot but wanted something more light weight and breathable for hot summer hikes. and these boots are perfect for the needed change in conditions

The anacapa Breeze looked like they might make a great early season hunting boot. However, the vented sections allowed fox tails to poke through the shoe into my socks, they were uncomfortable around the ankle, and the footbed was also uncomfortable. They were also not easy to lace up. I will have to stick with my typical hunting boots for now.

I really wanted these boots to work. The amount of cushion is just what I expected! I like my Hoka Bondi shoes and I wear a wide in those. I was hoping Hoka would make their hiking boots wider with the common use of thicker socks. But alas, too tight still and need to return.

It is Lightweight. It's comfortable. It's just a little too soft for a uniform work shoe. Doesn't seem To have real good support

I love my hiking boots! Conquered Mt Washington... dry, comfortable, durable, light, and awesome traction on dirt, rocks, big rocks, and did I say big rocks.

I work 12+ hours in a prison, and since I know how the Hoka shoes feel I took a chance and ordered these to wear at work. They feel great, provide needed cushion for being on concrete for 12 hours or more a shift and make it past all of the metal detectors. Just wish they looked more like a tactical boot.

I've owned 7 pair of Bondi Hoka's and my favorite part of them are they are the perfect broken in shoe as soon as you put them on. I love hiking and figured I'd give them a try. The positive is they are by far the coolest shoes I've ever wore (looks and temperature). I love the grip of the sole and how light they are. For the negative. The toung is huge and creates pressure points. Unlike my Bondi they need broke in. They are 100% hiking shoes, not great for everyday wear. I would buy again but they could be better. Love my Hoka!

Hoka makes the best boots for hiking, period. These are no exception. Light, comfortable, rugged. Just a solid hiking boot all around. Now for the "heads up": These shoes run EXTREMELY large. I always go a half size down from what I normally order from other shoe makers (Nike, Adidas, etc...). With these, I had to go a FULL size down from what I normally wear in other non-hoka shoes. If you have ordered Hoka's before, definitely go a half size down from your normal Hoka size. If you're going from say, a Nike, to this shoe, go a full size down.

My husband needed a lightweight work-boot type crossover shoe and this is the PERFECT answer. Ideal for outdoor work or fun. Great support and comfort. We just ordered a second pair in a different color.

Very comfy right out of the box! Are not durable if you have heavy use in your future look else where! Tread in the center of shoes was gone in a week and they likely will not survive 2 months under current conditions. Way to much money spent for the return
