Very disappointed. Not up to LLB standards. Shearling slippers, yes; but nothing special. Machine-stitched, and slightly off-kilter. Too big. Salt on the wound was the price-sticker on the box: it said $49.95, when I'd paid $79.00.
These are going back.

I have been a LL Bean customer for years, and have purchased a number of pairs of Wicked good mom's. However, the last 4 pairs I purchased were returned.
They don't have a good fit since being outsourced offshore. (still charging $6900)
Each pair I have purchased in the past few years have all felt like one of the mocs was on the "wrong" foot. I have just recently returned three pairs, and have no plans to purchase any more

Been wearing these for six years, this is 3rd pair.
Not the same cut, very thin on bottom, fur feels fake and not as thick.
the V in front of ankle is cut very low so there is a giant cold gap on the top of my foot. Very disappointed, will have to look elsewhere for new slippers.

I have worn wicked good slippers my whole adult life and I have always loved them!
My last pair just looks horrible after 6 months! The pair I had before this did not wear down for at least 6-7 years... These look like those after wearing them for less than 6 months! Very Sad!
The fur inside has worn down at the heel already, to be honest my old pair has the same worn down spots but if you put the two pairs next to each other the 6 year old pair looks better overall!
Very disappointed I guess I will have to find another wicked good slipper from another company:( I will miss my comfy cozy slippers...

I was so very disappointed when I received these slippers. I normally wear a size 7 to 71/2 but I ordered these in a size 8. At first I thought I had them on the wrong feet because of the way my feet kept sliding to the side. It was almost like falling off your heels. The I noticed how much narrower the soles were to the uppers. It was as if they'd sewn a size 5 sole to a size 8 upper. I'm returning these and this is the last time I'll every buy footwear from LL Bean. The $6.50 return shipping fee is just too much to pay to try on a pair of slippers

This is the first customer review I have ever written for anything.
I have never replied to any request for a review. EVER! Until now.....( I order off the internet all the time)
But I feel compelled to write because I was so so disappointed in theses.
I have worn Wicked Good Slippers for years. I got my first pair as a teenager for Christmas. After that first pair wore out after 10-15 years, LL Bean replaced them for free. The lifetime guarantee was fantastic and the new slippers were wonderful. My last pair which I owned for about 7-10 years were chewed up by an unfortunate infestation we had in the attic. I was so excited to get my new pair last month (which I paid for).
But the fit is so odd and different...Why? Why change a good thing?
I see they are now made in China. Not that "China" matters so much as THEY ARE NO LONGER WHAT THEY WERE..... FOR SO LONG! WHY THE CHANGE????
This has been my slipper for more than half my life! Agh!
They were perfect before and lovely and warm and comforting They feel different now, they even look different. I am crushed. Heartbroken! Really bummed!
I know it sounds dramatic, but this was a wonderful product. Yes, times change. But why fix something that ain't broke? ...why LLBean? WHY???
I am returning them. However, Im sad to see they may not return my money only give credit....pretty horrible considering every other major retailer in the country gives you your money back. Sorry LLBean. I am no longer your faithful and loyal customer.
Merry Christmas

I ordered a medium width. The length was fine. The width was ok except in the toe area, which was not only very pointed width wise, but did not have enough depth. Within ten minutes of wearing them while seated, my big toe was killing me from the pressure of the material.

This is the first item I have returned an item to LL Bean because I did not like it in years! I purchased these because I wanted warm feet in the winter but the way they felt when walking around made them too uncomfortable to keep long enough to test for warmth. The sole does not give enough body to the slipper and I had to keep checking to see I had them on the correct feet. Very disappointing slipper.

I bought these slippers and for the price I expected them to last longer than 1 year. The string broke and the sole is seperating from the shoe.

These slippers are not wide enough or firm enough for my size 6.5W feet to feel stable when walking, and there is absolutely no arch support. Also, the toe box is not deep enough to accommodate my feet and the fleece (ordering a longer slipper would not solve the problem). My quest for warm slippers with a deep toe box, wide width, and great support is still on.

II was VERY DISAPPOINTED to return my new slippers. I LOVE Beans Wicked Good slippers and have bought and worn them just shy of 30 yrs. My last two pairs are almost destroyed but will wear them until Bean makes them the way they used to. Slippers were true to size (6 1/2 ordered a 7) so I can wear with socks. But I would not recommend them to a friend. They were thin and flimsy. They describe the shearling as lambs fur? What is that? And they do not provide the support they used to (which was soft but firm)...hard to get your feet inside them with or without socks because they've been redesigned and are flimsy. My old ones are elf shaped and easy to get in to and out of as slippers should be. Overall, quality and design, not as substantial as they once were. VERY SAD!! LL BEAN PLEASE! MAKE THEM THE WAY YOU USED TO BE MADE AND I WILL BUY THEM!

As soon as I slipped them on I knew the quality wasn't there and I put them right back in the box and sent them back.

The left slipper fit, but the opening on the right slipper did NOT open enough to fit on my foot which my feet are a size 7 Medium, which is the size the slippers were. Other slippers I have from BEAN in the PAST have been GREAT, but not these. SORRY They have been returned.

I've been wearing these slippers for years and thought it was time to get a new pair (my third). The old design used to cover the entire front of the foot up to the ankle. The newer design has an opening in the front. The materials, both inside and out, are a lower quality than the older slippers. Finally there is a tag sown into the inside bottom of the slipper that is very uncomfortable. I would rather wear my old, worn-out pair with socks than keep the new slippers. Very disappointing. I have loved these slippers for years so much so that I have purchased them for numerous family members and friends.

i actually couldn't get my foot into these. They were my usual size, but the opening wouldn't accommodate a high arch.
Years ago I had a wonderful pair that appeared to be same style.

Quality of these slippers has gone down the tube. After one week of wear, the seam ripped wide open on the left slipper. My last pair of these lasted 5 years before the threads starting coming apart. I love LLBean but am crying right now . . .

Have wore these slippers for about 3 months now and they have gotten so big they don't keep my feet warm anymore. Like to wear my slippers without socks and also like a leather sole, not rubber ones that catch on the carpet. The slippers were just the right size upon purchase but quickly loosened up. Most of the problem I believe is with the fleece. Different quality of what I was used to in other Bean slippers. Not enough of it and different texture. Will be sending these back.

These didn't have enough "structure" to them for me. My foot kept slipping over, a problem I never had with the low moccassin version. I had to return them.

They were small in both directions. I have a wide foot so I was not surprised that they were to tight width wise, but was very surprised they were to short length wise as well. Plus, $79.99 is to much money for slippers- I only ordered them because I had Bean Bucks. So, back they go and the hunt for women's wide slippers continues.

I had the moccasin slippers many years ago and loved them. These are too small, as suggested in several reviews, and the workmanship does not seem to live up to the quality I have expected and received in the past. I plan to return them and to shop elsewhere for slippers. I tried hiking boots a few years ago, having worn the soles off my old LL Bean pair, which I loved, and had a similar experience. I'm afraid something has changed with the production of LL Bean shoes and although the prices remain high the quality does not.

I really, REALLY wanted to love these slippers. Being a California girl transported to the East Coast I needed a slipper that would keep my chronic popsicle toes warm and cozy around the house during the cold winter months and this slipper looked like it would fit the bill perfectly. I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe and they don't come in half sizes so I went up a size with a 10. At first the fit was actually a little tight but I wanted them to fit fairly snuggly so that they wouldn't feel drafty at all. After 2 or 3 weeks of wear around the house I was dismayed to find that they had stretched so much that they had indeed become loose and "drafty". So around that time, when I found myself near an LL Bean, I bought a 2nd pair in the next size down- a 9 (I didn't have the first pair with me and figured I'd just return those at a later date). The 9 was SUPER snug at first, but that didn't worry me since I knew they would stretch quite a bit. And they did. And then they did some more and by the 5th or 6th week of wear, they had stretched to the point where they were even BIGGER than the 10's (which i still had). So with sorrow in my heart I returned both pairs to Bean.
I've read in a few other revues that the quality of this slipper is not what it used to be and suspect they may be using a cheaper grade of shearling than they used to that is far stretchier than what they used to use.
I wouldn't have been nearly as disappointed had it been a 30 dollar slipper but for 80 dollars, I expect a well crafted slipper made with top notch materials. (in other words, one that lives up to the standards that Bean worked so hard to earn for many years).
To Bean's credit, the nice lady behind the counter didn't bat an eye when I returned not one but two pairs of these slippers at once. So where customer service is concerned, their famously high standards haven't slipped one iota. Unfortunately, it seems the same can't be said for the quality of some of their products.

I think it's a shame that the once wicked good slippers are now so awful. The leather is so soft that you cannot slip your feet into them, you have to pull them on. Also, the sole of the left slipper was not flat; there was a bump in it that was very uncomfortable. The two slippers didn't even look like a pair and one top opening was significantly smaller than the other. I owned this model LL Bean slipper 20 years ago and cried when a flood ruined them. I found other slippers, which I now thought I'd replace with the old LL Bean style. I was so disappointed by what I received. I exchanged them for a different product. "Wicked bad!"
