These were not my first LL Bean slippers. I have had great luck in the past. But, at one year old, these are headed for the trash. Inside and outside problems; seams apart, inner loft totally worn down. I have the expectation that $100 slippers should be at least a 5-year investment.

First pair was very good and lasted a long time. Next two pairs were awful. They rotated on your feet, so that instead of walking on the soles, you end up walking on the outside edge of the slippers. Extremely poor construction.

I have been obsessed with these slippers for years. I buy them as gifts & this my 4th pair. But this new pair are not as comfortable. There is a change in the cushion & the fleece inside piles at the ball of my foot. I have never had this experience with these slipper before. I am heartbroken, I loved these for years but sadly I will not purchase them again or purchase as gifts because the quality is no longer worth the price.

For all the hype, I was sorely disappointed. Despite the 25% off, these were not worth the money. I normally wear a size 6 sandal, 7 running shoe. Size 6 was tiny and actually hurt my feet, despite the soft material. In addition, the tag on the inside was very uncomfortable. The booty felt unstable and slipped up and down while walking, despite the tightness. Just terrible. Returned.

As others here have indicated, these slippers contain poor quality materials. The fur becomes matted down very quickly and the stitching came apart through normal use less than 2 years after purchase. Customer service refused to issue any store credit and actually blamed the user of the slippers for walking incorrectly in them. Buyer beware.

The worst slipper I ever bought. I bought this because my feet need a good support due to operation. My feet kept sliding to the sides with absolutely NO support at all. I kept on bringing my feet into the center, only to have them fall out to the sides again. ABSOLUTELY no support at all. Do not recommend this slipper at all.

No sole or arch support. I would have gotten a different pair with a sole. Disappointed. I wish that they were half sizes. They are warm though.

I want everyone to know this is NOT a bad review. I did one star to get peoples' attention. I love my Wicked Good Slippers! They are warm, comfortable, and long lasting. This is a warning to people who have tile or wood floors and no carpeting. A few years ago I purchased the slippers without a sole like the ones pictured here, more of a moccasin look. They were fine for a while, but eventually the fuzzy, suede-like, bottom wears off to become a soft sole. I have found that if you don't have carpet and have tile or wood floors these slippers are very, very, slippy. I fell and broke my hip a few years ago (not due to these slippers) and cracked a hip a few months ago (again not due to the slippers), but these accidents have made me more aware of dangerous things. If you have floors that are wood or tile, I would suggest getting the slippers that have a real sole on them. I think that would be a much safer route, especially for older people who are not as steady on their feet. I have slipped a number of times, but this morning I almost fell when I stood up. My feet literally slid out from under me. If you have them, please be careful. If you don't you might consider the ones with a sole.

Sorry to say, but L.L. Bean your quality has gone downhill. I have been wearing the Wicked Good slipper since the 1980's and they used to last more than 10 years before wearing out. This latest pair is literally falling apart after only 3 winter seasons of indoor wear. The stitching has come apart on both slippers. $90 slippers should not fall apart after 3 seasons. What bothers me is that the suede and the shearling is still in great shape! These slippers still have a lot of wear left in them! I don't know if Bean changed the type of thread used to sew them together (I feel like back in the day it used to be leather??) but it wears out long before the rest of the slipper. And to top it off, they say they do not make repairs on slippers and will not replace them, saying that since they are falling apart it must be excessive wear. Ridiculous. I am attaching photos to show the problem but also to show that the slippers are still in good condition and have not experienced "excessive wear". I will not buy these slippers ever again.

I loved these slippers at first but they don't last. The stitching around the sole comes undone very easily when that lacing breaks. I had a pair of these before and they only lasted a few years because the stitching coming undone. LLBean used to honor their return policy if you were not satisfied with the workmanship so they did replace them for me, no problem. I bought many more of these for family and we all started having the same problem with the stitching, but now within a year or two. For almost $90 these slippers should last more than two years. I never wore them outside. Only inside. This last pair I sent back to LLBean when the stitching came undone and they refused to replace them. They said it was because of the way they were worn out, not a problem with the stitching. I am including a picture of my slipper to show you how they were in fine condition everywhere EXCEPT for the faulty stitching. Do not get these. They are not made the same anymore and LLBean does not honor their guarantee like they used to.

Had an old pair that lasted for years until the laces broke, so I bought a new pair. The new pair had one slipper which continuously twisted on my foot, but continued to wear because my feet are always so cold. Finally the laces have broken on that slipper after a few months. Will not replace with a new pair.

I bought these slippers for my sister-in-law, who loved mine. Mine were purchased from LL Bean two years ago and are OK -- not the best-constructed of the best materials, but better than no slippers at all. The ones she received, on the other hand, smelled so badly of poorly-cured leather that she sent them back immediately. And while the replacement pair didn't smell as bad, the arch in one of them was up by the toes (not where an arch belongs). Apparently, quality has slipped on the slippers - and we've been promised a refund, so I can't say that we've been fleeced. But I can say that my sister-in-law is now very content with the slippers she got from a different company. I've always had great faith in Bean products, so this has been a great disappointment to me -- and the repeated failure to provide a high-quality product in this instance makes me wary of ever ordering anything again.

I returned the slippers because my right foot kept rolling over. It was like there wasn't any support there.

I've been buying the Wicked Good slippers for years due to comfort and longevity of the product. Last year I purchased the slippers and noticed the quality wasn't the same, less lining and they wore out quicker. I purchased another pair 2 weeks ago, and after wearing less than 2 weeks, they have stretched out and are way to big for me to wear. I'm really bummed because I have really bad feet and these were the only slippers I could wear comfortably. LLBean, please don't sacrifice quality for profits - or lower the price, they are way too expensive for the quality. I'll never purchase these slippers again.

I loved these when I bought them - had I reviewed them at that point, they would have gotten 5 stars. But the quality is poor - after only 3 winters of use (so 12 months total) the stitching that holds the sole to the leather uppers is coming out. I've attached a picture of what the seam looks like after two winters of use. It's too bad because the uppers are still in good shape. I work full time so these are only worn in the morning & evening. I work in a professional setting so I'm not wearing them outside like I see some folks doing. I also don't wear them come spring - they're too warm. This is just what they look like after normal use. Maybe if they were $20 slippers, I'd be okay with them falling apart after two winters, but for the amount of money I paid, I'd expect them to last longer. I'd expect LL Bean to have better quality than this.

In the past these slippers were made well. Now there is less padding and the stitching is loosening after 1 month. I wear them 2-3 hours in the evening. It surprised me that the quality decreased for I was "expecting" the same from years of purchasing.

I've been wanting to buy these slippers for many years. I finally decided to splurge and got them. Based on the reviews that said the slippers stretch and conform to your feet as well as my past experience with other brands, I made the purchase according to my shoe size. After receiving the slippers, I'm very disappointed they're so narrow. I called LLBean and the rep said a larger size will only be longer, but not wider. If you require a wide width, DO NOT buy these slippers! I'm ending up wasting $6.50 (for return postage) just to try on these shoes! From now on I'm using other sites that offer free shipping both ways.

Sorry to say the slippers are too wide and the sole on the right foot does not stay flat, something is off with the lining. I would not recommend these slippers.

Quality is going down hill and I can no longer trust this brand. I bought a pair of these in 2015 and thought they were great at first. Less than a year later the stitching broke and my foot was completely exposed. So I went back to the store and exchanged them for another pair, hoping it was a fluke. Unfortunately, another year later the same thing happened to the stitching. In addition to the poor stitching, the "fleece" lining wears away quickly so they aren't as comfortable and cozy as when you first get them. I was willing to deal with the lining, but after less than a year's worth of wearing them (I don't wear them in the summer) I shouldn't have to deal with a big gaping hole on the side which renders them useless. I decided I would return the item for a refund instead of another exchange. When I brought my exchange receipt back, I was told I would only get store credit. When I exchanged the first pair, my receipt was in my account and I could have received a full refund then. But I agreed to do an exchange instead. And now that I want my money back my receipt is no longer in the system and the exchange receipt only gives a store credit. So my first piece of advice is not to buy them. If you do buy them, then I advise a full refund when the stitching gives out. And of course never lose your original purchase receipt.

I purchased these slippers 5 months ago and already they are falling apart! The picture posted by another reviewer looks just like my slippers stitching along the outside of the right slipper is completely warn through and torn. Must be a design flaw. I am very gentle on clothes, including slippers, and they usually last for years. Unfortunately, the quality of these slippers is a complete departure from what I've come to expect from LL Bean. I am so disappointed. (On a positive note, I spoke with someone in customer service this evening and she was responsive, professional and very friendly.)

Either I was sent a reject pair or something is seriously is wrong with the manufacturing process. I have had 2 other pairs of this same slipper that I loved. This pair could not even be worn. The base was narrow and top was crooked. It was like they put the base for the right foot and the top for a left foot together. The result was I fell off the base with the top being very uncomfortable. Just a disaster. I kept looking at them trying to figure out if had them on the wrong foot. Nothing helped. The manufacturing process is not up the expensive price they charge. I am actually insulted they would sell this pair of slippers to me.

I expected a little more structure. the little arch in the slipper doesn't stay under my arch, making for an uncomfortable fit and feel. Wish I would have returned them

I have used this model of LL Bean slippers for decades. I kept my last pair for almost 2 years, but was unhappy with them for most of that time. Within a few months, there were large bare spots in the lining -- this got progressively worse over time. They fit snugly at first, but the lining compressed so much that the slippers got way too wide, and I started landing on the side of the boot instead of the soles. Finally, a few months ago, mostly as a result of walking on them, the stitches started to disintegrate. By that time, the boots were so wide that it was really uncomfortable to walk. I was disappointed last time I bought these slippers, but had decided to give them one more try. No more. I ordered a pair from a different company and returned these today. L.L. Bean took them back without question -- which is nice as far as it goes, I guess, except they didn't even want feedback as to why I was returning them.

My last pair lasted me over 10 years, never mind how long my fathers lasted!! When I finally retired my old pair, my new ones wore out in less than 2! Stitching just came apart, never mind the overall support! LLBean graciously returned them and here we are exactly 2 years later (again) and same issue! For $80 one would hope they would hold up for even half the time their predecessors did! So disappointed to have to move on from a classic.

I have purchased these slippers for years and have always loved them. I tried reordering these 2-3 years ago.The foot bed just felt weird and I returned them. Decided to try again because no other slippers compare. I was again disappointed. The construction of the foot bed is off. My feet slide to the outside edges where I can feel all the stitching because the shearling is not thick enough. I'm so sad! :(
