I ordered a size bigger as product description suggested. They were way too big, not even close. I ordered a second pain in a smaller size. I was sent a new pair in the same size that was too big after waiting a long time for a back order. Returned them and am still waiting for a pair the right size after another back order. This is not the LL Bean that I am used to. In the past it was easy to order the right size and I always received what I ordered.

I was a fan of Emu slippers for years until my last pair fell apart. This year I told my husband to pick out something for me high quality and I would like. He chose Acorn but unfortunately the wrong size. My best friend has been raving about her and her husband's LL Bean Wicked Good Slippers so I decided to go the LL Bean route. Chose the moccasins first and the heel kept lifting out so I am sending them back but also purchased the Wicked Good Slippers asap since I look forward to my slippers every day working from home. Well they came and I fell in love with the feel immediately, but something was off. My right foot kept falling off the sewn in platform in the slipper. It was uncomfortable and annoying. Then I felt around and the grid shaped wire under the bottom of the slipper's lining is making an appearance in a few places. I started looking at reviews confused because of the high ratings and noticed a trend... I'm going to now have to mail back two pair of slippers and decide on what to get next. All while nothing comfy on my feet :(

I have loved these slippers and had seven pair over the years. The recent ones I purchased however were NOT the old standard The fleece was cheap and the lining of the foot did not go throughout the slippers. The right one is so uneven I now have a sore ankle ( I have always worn these in the house when I take off my shoes at the door. I have relatively narrow feet. I can't imagine anyone with a wider foot would be comfortable. After wearing them for two weeks the inner fleece is lumping up and feels like a lumpy sock in a shoe. I think these must be made in China. Please go back to your previous manufacturer.

I bought these in the store so I could be sure of the size. Good thing I did because they are going right back!
They squeak every time I take a step. Tried wearing them for a few days but the squeaking is very loud and is not getting better. My husband can't stand the constant squeaking either. Terrible on wood or vinyl, a little less noisy on tile. Too bad because they look and feel great.

These were once GREAT slippers. I have a pair from a couple of years back. I decided to purchase another pair, and I am completely dissatisfied with the most recent pair.
The older pair is made of firmer quality leather, thus is a great support for holding the shape of the boot and the firm fit on my foot and around my ankles.
The newer pair is made is a thinner & much more supple quality of leather that is WAY too loose of a hold on the foot and leaves me just basically wearing a footbed with no booted support on the foot or ankles.
I don't understand why L.L. Bean keeps messing with a good thing in their tried and true products.
I am unfathomably aggravated with this. Get your former product supplier in this, L.L. Bean - for THESE booted slippers are not worth the box you ship them in. (But I still love you dearly as a company.)

We have ordered and received this item twice (chocolate brown). Both shipments smell so bad that they had to be returned (the second one will be returned shortly). The smell is of the dye or finishing chemicals and the slippers actually could not be kept in the house and are put in the garage. We have purchased the same slipper at least twice in past years with no issues.

I've been wearing this style for several years and loved them. Christmas 2014 I received a new pair, replacing a pair I had had for about 18 months. Sadly, holes started appearing in these after 4 months but LL Bean replaced them. I started wearing that new pair in Oct 2015 and sadly, I must report holes as well as exreme shearling wear, so much so that my heel rests only on the leather, and so stretched out I must wear two pairs of socks just to keep them on my feet. Just to be clear, these are only inside shoes.

This is the second pair of wicked good slippers and I wasn't happy at all. Sizing was on the small side and the opening too small for my foot. Returned for a refund.

I have purchased eight pairs of theses slippers over the years for myself and other family members (in addition to 7 pairs of the moccasin style). My first two pair were the old style and lasted SO MUCH LONGER than the newer style, which wore out in less than a year. I'm especially disappointed that all of the ones I purchased for gifts for my mother and sisters were the newer ones, and they didn't last anytime for any of them. The moccasin ones I bought last year have also worn out already.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter. They ran very small. (I even ordered them a half-size larger).
But, the most disappointing thing was that the wool interior came out in tufts, when she opened the box and put her hand inside to feel the interior. Not at all the kind of quality I've come to expect from LL Bean. Sending them back.

I have worn shearing slippers for years. So this is not my first pair, but the first from L.L. Bean. The shearing is skimpy at best and the leather is so flimsy that your foot rolls off the sole. I have tried the suggested "size up" which were way too big. Now am trying a half size down...Same results. No support at all. I know they are 'slippers' but this is the first pair I have owned that do this. For the price I expected better support and quality.

Firstly these look as if they have a soft sole. They DO have a hard sole it is covered by a piece of leather. Secondly water was spilt and the dye of the chocolate brown colored carpet and comforter! Was able to get stain out with a vegetable-based cleaner from comforter still slight stain in beige carpet. Not pleased. (Have had 6 months)

I have owned several pairs of these slippers over the years. They are very comfortable but they often fall apart after a few months and need to be replaced. My husband bought a new pair for me in May 2015 and the seams started coming apart on the right slipper in July 2015. I love these slippers but I am tired of having to send them back to be replaced!

Very disappointed. Not up to LLB standards. Shearling slippers, yes; but nothing special. Machine-stitched, and slightly off-kilter. Too big. Salt on the wound was the price-sticker on the box: it said $49.95, when I'd paid $79.00.
These are going back.

I have been a LL Bean customer for years, and have purchased a number of pairs of Wicked good mom's. However, the last 4 pairs I purchased were returned.
They don't have a good fit since being outsourced offshore. (still charging $6900)
Each pair I have purchased in the past few years have all felt like one of the mocs was on the "wrong" foot. I have just recently returned three pairs, and have no plans to purchase any more

Been wearing these for six years, this is 3rd pair.
Not the same cut, very thin on bottom, fur feels fake and not as thick.
the V in front of ankle is cut very low so there is a giant cold gap on the top of my foot. Very disappointed, will have to look elsewhere for new slippers.

I have worn wicked good slippers my whole adult life and I have always loved them!
My last pair just looks horrible after 6 months! The pair I had before this did not wear down for at least 6-7 years... These look like those after wearing them for less than 6 months! Very Sad!
The fur inside has worn down at the heel already, to be honest my old pair has the same worn down spots but if you put the two pairs next to each other the 6 year old pair looks better overall!
Very disappointed I guess I will have to find another wicked good slipper from another company:( I will miss my comfy cozy slippers...

I was so very disappointed when I received these slippers. I normally wear a size 7 to 71/2 but I ordered these in a size 8. At first I thought I had them on the wrong feet because of the way my feet kept sliding to the side. It was almost like falling off your heels. The I noticed how much narrower the soles were to the uppers. It was as if they'd sewn a size 5 sole to a size 8 upper. I'm returning these and this is the last time I'll every buy footwear from LL Bean. The $6.50 return shipping fee is just too much to pay to try on a pair of slippers

This is the first customer review I have ever written for anything.
I have never replied to any request for a review. EVER! Until now.....( I order off the internet all the time)
But I feel compelled to write because I was so so disappointed in theses.
I have worn Wicked Good Slippers for years. I got my first pair as a teenager for Christmas. After that first pair wore out after 10-15 years, LL Bean replaced them for free. The lifetime guarantee was fantastic and the new slippers were wonderful. My last pair which I owned for about 7-10 years were chewed up by an unfortunate infestation we had in the attic. I was so excited to get my new pair last month (which I paid for).
But the fit is so odd and different...Why? Why change a good thing?
I see they are now made in China. Not that "China" matters so much as THEY ARE NO LONGER WHAT THEY WERE..... FOR SO LONG! WHY THE CHANGE????
This has been my slipper for more than half my life! Agh!
They were perfect before and lovely and warm and comforting They feel different now, they even look different. I am crushed. Heartbroken! Really bummed!
I know it sounds dramatic, but this was a wonderful product. Yes, times change. But why fix something that ain't broke? ...why LLBean? WHY???
I am returning them. However, Im sad to see they may not return my money only give credit....pretty horrible considering every other major retailer in the country gives you your money back. Sorry LLBean. I am no longer your faithful and loyal customer.
Merry Christmas

I ordered a medium width. The length was fine. The width was ok except in the toe area, which was not only very pointed width wise, but did not have enough depth. Within ten minutes of wearing them while seated, my big toe was killing me from the pressure of the material.

This is the first item I have returned an item to LL Bean because I did not like it in years! I purchased these because I wanted warm feet in the winter but the way they felt when walking around made them too uncomfortable to keep long enough to test for warmth. The sole does not give enough body to the slipper and I had to keep checking to see I had them on the correct feet. Very disappointing slipper.

I bought these slippers and for the price I expected them to last longer than 1 year. The string broke and the sole is seperating from the shoe.

These slippers are not wide enough or firm enough for my size 6.5W feet to feel stable when walking, and there is absolutely no arch support. Also, the toe box is not deep enough to accommodate my feet and the fleece (ordering a longer slipper would not solve the problem). My quest for warm slippers with a deep toe box, wide width, and great support is still on.
