I ordered my L.L. Bean Slippers with great anticipation. I had owned this exact type before and loved them. However this time when my pair of slippers arrived and I began wearing them, I noticed that the craftsmanship in the Right Slipper is Faulty. The Left Slipper is fine, and when I wear it my Left Foot is well-balanced. However when I wear the Right Slipper, my Right Foot rolls to the right side. And not only is my Right Foot off-balance, but my whole Right Leg is off-balance. After a while of walking in these Slippers not only does my Right Foot hurt, but so does my Right Leg. At some point I'm going to Return this pair, and get a Replacement Pair of the same exact type of Slipper.

Had a pair of these for several years with no issue until they finaly just wore out. Have had 2 pair in the last 2-3 years. The lacing on the right foot broke in 10 months. Bought a second pair and after 13 months, the leather simply split in the same place, right foot. Very disappointed.

I had purchased these slippers in the past and loved them. I then purchased a newer pair to replace my previously well-loved ones and these literally tore apart at the seams after only a few days! I returned and replaced with another pair thinking this was just a fluke, but nope, the very same thing happened with the replacement pair. I was extremely surprised and disappointed as I have not know LL Bean to produce products that were poorly made. Unfortunately, I am sorry to say, that I cannot recommend these to anyone and I now think twice prior to making purchases here.

This is the second pair of these slippers that I have owned - the first pair made it through two seasons, so I wasn't surprised when the seam wore down in a spot on those and the soles started to come apart from the slippers. However, this second pair I have had for just over one year (one year and one month - my husband got me a replacement pair for Christmas in 2019) and the seam has already ripped again. We have been having unseasonably warm falls/winters and I don't even wear these every day! Very disappointed in the quality, and while I WANT to purchase them again because they are so warm and cozy, I simply can't justify spending $89 on slippers every year.

Both my husband and I loved wearing these slippers until they fell apart when the stitching between the sole and the upper wore out after 18 months. Unfortunately they are not returnable after 1 year according to the LLBean return policy.

Sorry, usually love my Bean slippers, but these had a very odd fit - didn't feel stable at all in the heel. Also, shed very badly. Returned it.

I had another pair of these for several of years and loved them, but they finally gave out. I purchased a replacement pair just a little over a year ago. The side seam on one slipper broke and they've begun to come apart. Quite disappointed to get a response from customer service that they won't even consider a return even though the purchase was barely over a year ago and they've had only normal use indoors. Disappointed in the quality and the service - not typical of this company.

I chose these slippers because they don't have rubber soles, so they're soft and quiet on floors and won't bother my downstairs neighbors or roommates. They are so comfy and I've been wearing them constantly. Unfortunately, the quality is horrible. I've only had them for about a week and they already ripped at the back. Good thing LL Bean has a great return policy...

I have had two pairs of this slipper and would not buy it again. It falls apart at the seams after one season. I cannot believe how expensive this is and how it falls apart.

So sad to see a great company go so far down on quality. I used to love these slippers but the last 2 pair have not lasted a year. LL Bean what happened to your quality? Will not buy these again.

I have purchased these slippers several times in the past and had always been happy with them. However, the most recent pair is not of the same quality. The soles are thinner, the lining wore away almost immediately, the size was off by a half size, etc. If you have owned these slippers before and think that buying another pair means you are getting what you had before, think again! The quality of the materials and the workmanship are of inferior quality. So disappointing. These were my "go-to" slippers, but I will never buy them again. If I was rating the original slippers I would give them five stars. The most recent version, although by outward appearance at first glance look identical, I rate barely one star. If you are a first time buyer of this product you might be satisfied. If you are replacing slippers that you loved in the past, you will most definitely be disappointed. BUYER BEWARE!

The slippers are warm and comfortable; however, for the price, the stitching broke way too fast and I now have giant holes in the seams. My feet protrude from the holes when I use them. I continued to wear them despite the holes due to not having a store near by to take them back to nor the time to package and mail them back. They fell apart way too early for the price and what I associate with the high quality of LL Bean merchandise.

I truly loved these house slippers, I wear them only inside. I am so disappointed. The sides of these slippers at the seam now have a hole in the left and right shoe. I've purchased junk from cheap stores that have lasted longer than these.

I recently purchased a new pair of slippers to replace my previous pair, which I owned and loved for four years. My new pair arrived and immediately it was obvious that, despite increasing in price (originally $79, now $89 - NOT cheap for house slippers). The quality of materials being used now is very inferior to the previous materials. Thinner, poorly dyed, cheaper-feeling and sizing is off by about 1/2 size. Terrible disappointment, I'm returning these "new" slippers.

I saw these last year and wasn't prepared to pay this high of a price but after my feet being cold last winter I decided it would be worth it. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The left slipper stitching at the toe end made it seem like my foot went off on a curve to the left which therefore made it 'feel' funny on the inside. I packed them back up and sent them back. Normally I am very pleased with LL Bean's quality.

I've been enjoying a pair of these slippers for years and tried to replace them with another pair like them, but I was sadly disappointed. The quality of these slippers has been sacrificed (for whatever reason) and now resides at the bottom of the barrel. I will continue wearing my old ones the new ones only looked the same!

I have been wearing this exact style since I first took my mom's pair from her back I. The in the 80's and they are definitely not made with the same material, quality, or craftsmanship that they once used! I cannot express how disappointed I am! They feel so narrow in the sole. The cushioning is different. They don't come up high enough in the back or stay on. My foot slipped right out! For what they cost, the quality needs to return to what it used to be. Returning and never buying again!

My wife has had these slippers for about 1 yr...she loves them and wares them all the time in the house, never outside...the inside material has worn off leaving an imprint where her foot lines up inside the slipper...she is walking on leather and mentioned it to me the other day...disappointing they have worn out so quickly.

After a short time the shearling broke down, forcing you to walk on the leather stitching which is painful. Returned and exchange for regular brown which is not as pretty but in my experience made better

I've been wearing Wicked Good slippers for at least 15 years, since my dad bought me my first pair in high school. Early on these slippers would last several years, and I can't remember actually wearing a pair out--they'd be replaced if something was spilled, or if another pair was gifted, etc. Last year I'd had a pair for 3 years when I noticed the stitching around the side was wearing away, causing a large hole where the sole met the body of the slipper. The shearling on the inside had also been worn away significantly, causing them to fit loosely. Since other pairs had lasted much longer without these issues, I sent them in to see if L.L. Bean would exchange them as defective. I was told the issues were due to normal wear and tear and not eligible for an exchange, so I purchased a new pair still thinking 3 years was a decent run for slippers. Then just recently I noticed my newest pair had the same issues with the lacing, and again the shearling was significantly worn, this time after only ONE YEAR. For the price of these slippers, not to mention the previous quality I'd come to expect, I assumed these must be defective. Again I was told this was normal wear and tear, only this time I was informed it was my feet that were too wide for the slipper which was causing the lacing issues. I do have wide feet, and am willing to accept that this may be the case, however it doesn't explain why all of my other pairs have lasted *so* much longer than these! None of my other footwear fits differently, so my feet haven't changed, and I also haven't changed how/when I wear the slippers. I'm extremely disappointed in the diminished quality of these slippers, and also the lack of support from the company as they refuse to address these issues and stand by their product. Having been a longtime devotee, it's unfortunate I'll no longer be able to purchase any slippers from L.L. Bean any longer due to a lack of trust in their quality and customer service.

I love llbean. I have had great success with anything produced in the USA unfortunately, this american flagship company has begun selling Chinese made products that have reduced the quality standard tremendously. I also bought a pair of slip on "bean boots" that fell apart within a year. It is not clear to me if a product is Chinese made or America. The wicked good slippers are fantastic until they fall apart. This unfortunate shift to offshore product has severely damaged beans stellar reputation. I will most likely abandon this company altogether. Buyer beware. Ask the question "are these made in America" because a "no" answer will result in limited use as the product does not live up to acceptable life standards.

These are cozy and warm as described. However, there is less padding under the toes than under the rest of the foot. I can feel the floor under my toes. It's annoying. I'm returning them.
