The seam at the back of one started to split within a week of purchase (size is just right) and the fluffy inner lining has started to shed. Not sure if I got a defective pair but disappointed the brand standard isnt what I'm used to and expected - my previous pair lasted years without none of these issues

I've purchased two pairs of these. The first ones the stitching was out in two weeks and the second pair are two different colors and the foam soles are uneven so very awkward to walk in. So disappointed.

I received these as a holiday gift in December 2020. I live in a warm climate so wore them for maybe 6 weeks before putting them away for this year. At the time I noticed that the sheepskin on one side of the right slipper was much, much thinner than the rest and that the stitching was a bit loose on that slipper, but didn't think much of it. Took the slippers back out this winter, and after maybe two weeks of wear--indoor only, we have no pets, these slippers have been babied--the sole has come completely separated from the upper on one side of the slipper. They're unwearable after maybe two months of actual use, and I can't return them because they were purchased 14 months ago. These were a complete waste of money; for the price I could have bought several pairs of slippers that each would have lasted longer than this pair. I'm really disappointed in LLBean. These slippers were substandard in every way.

I do not know what is going on with LLBEAN but these slippers were DEFECTIVE. The top of the left Slipper was stretched out and Wide and the Right slipper has a Crooked Foot bed and very uncomfortably. I have been a LLBEAN shopper for many years. I am in my 80's and have had to return both slippers and shoes due to defective items for the last 2 years. I wanted to buy a different pair of slippers and use the Bean Bucks that I used on these slippers; but I am not allowed too so I will not buy a different pair. It was LLBEANS fault that I have to return them. That is a lousy policy. I have purchased these same slippers for years and they were always perfect.

I have been purchasing or been gifted these slippers since I was a teenager. This Christmas I decided to get a new pair because they are truly my favorite slippers. I purchased on 12-24-21 they arrived on 12-30-21. Last night while putting the on the back piece of material completely ripped next to the seam.
I contacted customer service this morning 1-16-22, their response was I would have to send them back for evaluation!
January in Michigan, be without my slippers? No thanks you!
What ever happened to companies that stand behind their product? Lesson learned; business lost.

I've been buying these slippers for many years and have loved them until recently. On the last pair I had, the bottom seam came loose at the left heel. With the previous pair, the seam at the center of the opening came loose. Now with the current pair, the back is much stiffer so they are uncomfortable when sitting and they do seem to be narrower in the toe. As mentioned by others, the tag in the arch seems particularly annoying. Why place this here? I did remove the tags from both left and right. They came out with a little effort (with a small swiss army knife) and then I noticed the "Made in Myanmar" text. Really? Not a good move by LLBean. I will be looking elsewhere for slippers as I am not interested in the other styles offered by LLBean -- and am now wary of the quality.

Construction of slipper was poor, toe boxes were not the same shape.
Slippers returned.

Very disappointing. Slippers were both stamped same size, but one was visibly inches longer than the other, and MUCH smaller! and one toe was off at a 40% angle. yikes!

LL Bean really needs to offer its slippers in half sizes. After a week of matting down the interior, the women's size 7M was barely ok with only bare feet (my big toes do touch the end of the slippers but it's not uncomfortably snug) BUT they're uncomfortably tight with even light socks! Size 8M is MUCH TOO LARGE even if wearing very heavy socks! I had been getting this same slipper for more than 30 years in size 7M and they always fit great! However, during the last several years, either the sizing changed or the quality of the slipper changed or perhaps both. I'm really disappointed with the slipper and it's poor fit at this point. I would rate it a zero if I could! It's certainly not up to the LL Bean standards I've been accustomed to for 40 years!

The quality is poor compared to ones I've had in the past. The shearling was very, very thin. The return process, however, was very easy and smooth.

I love these slippers ,but this is the second pair that were cut incorrectly. My foot did not lie flat. I have bought all sorts of slippers and shoes and never had this problem. I returned them.

Much too loose and no support. I wanted to like these, but really needed more support. I could imagine them sagging to one side very quickly.

I ordered the exact same model of slippers I had a couple of years ago. But this time they didn't fit right. The left slipper was so tight I couldn't get it on. So I returned them.

The slippers were sewn differently from each other creating an extremely narrow toebox on one of them. It made the slippers feel like they were two different sizes. Really unfortunate as it seemed like they would have been so warm and comfortable otherwise

I have been wearing Women's Wicked Good Slippers size 8 for over 20 years. Fleece lining in the last pair of slippers is not as thick as it has been in the past. Loose fit. Disappointed!

I bought mine several years ago after my husband received a pair for Christmas. I have always loved them. Both pair have been kept in the same environment in our closet. Mine appear to have mildewed and my husband's are fine. Disappointed I can no longer wear mine (size 8). They kept my ankles warm.

All's good until the slipper starts to come apart at the seams. The thread is cheap garbage. There is no excuse to skimp on the thread!

Had my previous pair 10 years. TEN. New pair was falling apart within months. Wore them EXACTLY as I did previous pair. LLBean will NOT exchange them. Said they "looked wet". Whatever. Quality IS NOT THERE ANY MORE. DO NOT BUY. Wish I had kept the photo but I thought LLBean would stand by their exchange policy.

The tag inside both slippers is extremely uncomfortable. I don't know why the tag needs to be there, and I'm not interested in using scissors to cut it out. More worrisome though is the fact that this item has so many poor reviews online and zero response from LL Bean. People are not going to pay nearly $100.00 for slippers that are uncomfortable and, according to many online reviews, fall apart within a year. Extremely disappointing, and not what I would expect from LL Bean.

I was so disappointed in this purchase. There is a sewn in tag at the seam of the where the shoe meets the sole of the shoe. It's a hard tag, not soft and flexible. It's very difficult to cut out and it's certainly not something you can wear with a bare foot, as the tag scratches your foot. Also, the quality of the seam work is horrible! The fur lining inside doesn't even cover the laced stitching, so your foot feels this rough spot all the way around the sole of the shoe. I wish I could return them, but I've already cut out the tag in hopes that would help solve the problem. It didn't, as it was a very difficult place to try to cut out the tag, and I couldn't get it all the way. Ugh.

When I bought these slippers last week at local LLBean, I wondered about label in sole. When I began wearing them at home, the plasticized label became annoying. Also, opening to left slipper larger than right slipper; Left felt like I would walk out of it, even though it's correct size; Right was difficult to get foot into. Left had lots of fluffy stuff, right had less. Also, I could feel stitching on inside of right slipper. Returning these slippers. Very disappointing.

Very disappointed in these slippers. Though they look great and the fleece is fluffy, when I wear them I feel as if the side of my foot is rolling over the edge--my right foot is rolling inward, and my left foot is rolling outward. I feel unbalanced. I don't understand the construction. Plus, I don't have wide feet, so it's not my feet that are causing the problem. It feels as if the sole is undersized somehow. I am 86 and don't want to break my ankle walking around the house. I have never had this rolling problem with any other shoes. I had my daughter, who is 63, try them and she felt exactly the same rolling. They can't be worn.

These began coming apart after less than a year of wear. The stitching came undone between the top and the sole. I tried to repair them, but they fell apart again. A bummer, because they were SO comfy. I'll be going back to the rubber bottom ones.

Purchased as a gift - to replace the prior pair. My wife loved the old pair - this new pair is subpar! They are manufactured in a different country, using different materials and are no longer good. Wife is very disappointed. Unhappy wife = unhappy life for me.

I always purchased my husband his slippers from LL Bean and envied how long they lasted, how comfortable he claimed they were. Finally I indulged myself in the woman's wicked good boot style slipper. Mine were a bit more expensive, but being a boot I spent the money. Well, I wore my very comfortable slippers for about six months when the entire stitching on the side unraveled and allowed my ankle to twist.
It is my understanding that LL Bean no longer has the same return policy so I am stuck and not going to buy another pair for anyone.
Disappointed,
