Has to return these. The soles were basically two different sizes-both length and width. Very uncomfortable to wear.

I just received these slippers and I should have accepted the reviews I read and NEVER ordered them! To begin with, they truly are sooooo difficult to get on and I don't have any dexterity issues. Secondly, I have no idea why the "arch" support feels like it is placed on the side of the slippers!! LL BEAN...what have you done with your quality?? It's not what it "used to be"! I'll definitely be returning!!

I bought the old style these slippers for decades. I bought another pair a while back to eventually replace the older ones when the older ones finally fell apart. That time has arrived and I found that the newer ones were not the same style as the older ones. The foot opening is too small and the slippers pull in my socks. The left slipper is defective and pushes my foot to the inside of it like the outside is too high. This newer style is very disappointing and I won't be buying them again. I will have to look elsewhere for quality slippers. I may sew up the older ones yet again and keep wearing them until I can find a better pair.

These slippers are 5 years old. My wife wears these around the house when cooler temperatures arrive. 4-6 months out of the year. I have just found out about this, but she told me that these slippers have been ripped at the seam at the toes for the last 3 or so years! If I had known earlier, I would have requested a refund or replacement.

I have owned Wicked Good Slippers twice over the years my recent purchase is the third pair. The quality has declined remarkably. They were much too small, the top barely reached my ankles and the shearling is very thin. My right heal slipped about as I walked. I purchased size 8 and clearly need a 9 which I believe will be too large however due to the poor quality I will not exchange for one size up. Very disappointed, LLBean use to be top quality. I have returned the slippers for a refund. I shall search elsewhere for new slippers.

These slippers are nothing like the slippers I bought 15 years ago from LL Bean. The "shearling wool" is very scratchy. I'm not sure it is wool. The sole of the slipper is of lower quality. I don't appreciate having to pay a return fee to try on a product I thought I knew was of high quality.

I bought these slippers for my mother as a gift, but she quickly returned them to me. After I started wearing them, I found out why. The soles flop down to one side! The ipart of the sole on the indside of the foot is thicker than the outside, so you foot always feels like it is sliding off the footbed. Cannot walk in them! Horrible! Worst slippers I have ever had and the most expensive I have ever paid for - $100 dollars!!!

Both slippers, right and left fell apart. Seams split and the suede is very thin.

Bought these slippers a couple of months ago figuring I'd get a nice comfy pair of warm slippers. WRONG! Yes, they are made from real lambs wool and are warm, once they are on. But they have no shape, no stiffness on the sides, nothing to help them slip on. No, you have to reach Dow and pull them on and, when sitting down, there's nothing to keep them from slipping off the feet.
L.L.Bean used to sell quality products that would last for years. No more. Will NEVER recommend these slippers and am now reluctant to buy anything else from them. Sad since I've been shopping L.L.Bean for decades.

I had to return these, which were mean to be a replacement for a pair I have been wearing 15 plus years. The inner liner is worn through in areas, but they are in phenomenal shape otherwise. Those who have only bought the recent version have no idea the difference in quality. Theses new ones were too short, and my previous ones fit fine out of the box. The stitching did bot appear to be finished well, and the suede uppers and soles were more like a chamois cloth and much thinner. The lining was not as dense, and my foot slid around, causing my ankle to turn when walking.
I own many other LL Bean products that I enjoy, but have noticed a marked decrease in quality over the years. Sadly, the Bean name used to be synonymous with quality. A shame, as these original slippers were the best slippers I have ever owned. Since they were in excellent shape other than the insole, I purchased replacement insoles elsewhere.
So disappointed!

Opening not big enough to slide feet into slippers. Slipper length was fine, but could barely get my foot into the left slipper. Couldn't get my right foot in at all. Most disappointed. Returned. Not risking another return fee, so didn't exchange for a different size.

I should have paid more attention to the 2-star reviews, but having owned my original pair of Wicked Good Slippers for MANY years, bought them for others, and assumed LLBean quality was as good as ever, I recently bought a new pair, and like others have stated, the quality is not even close to the same.
The lining is thin and feels synthetic, the exterior also thin and more like paper than suede or leather. I looked for a product description to see what materials are used in making these slippers, and could not find one. Also note that the photos shown on the website look like my old slippers, NOT what the new ones I received look like. This feels like a bait-and-switch, which is why I'm only giving one star.
It is a sad day indeed when even LLBean quality can no longer be trusted on such a classic item. I will not be purchasing these again.

I bought these slippers for everyone in my family several years ago. They were fantastic! I wore mine out and decided it was time for a new pair. When they arrived, they were too small and I couldn't tell which slipper was right or left. When I held the new slipper up against my old slipper, the sole of the new slipper was 3/4 of an inch shorter. What happened to the quality LL Bean is famous for? I'm a solid, loyal fan of LL Bean, but this time I was really let down.

The tags are right on the arch of the foot and were really irritating on the skin. Returned

The quality of these slippers is terrible. The center seam is not in the middle, and they are not square on their last. To say I'm disappointed in LLBean quality is an understatement.

I have been a big fan of the wicked warm slippers for so many years. Bought them over & over again for myself and family. That is up until the last few yrs when I have had to return 3 pair since one of the in-sole of each pair was in crooked so that my right foot slipped outward & I was no longer walking on the sole. This is very irritating & begs for a twisted ankle if moving fast which I can ill afford at my age now. I am sad that LL Bean is settling for inferior quality review on these otherwise comfy & warm slippers. But alas, I am moving on to another brand of slipper.

I've called, opened a chat, sent an email, and have gotten no word from L.L.Bean about my package. It said they had successfully delivered it but it wasn't at my door or in my mailbox. Unless someone actually gets back to me about this issue, I'll never be buying a single thing from this sham site again, and will be deterring as many people as possible from supporting them. This is ridiculously unprofessional behavior from them.

Quality has dropped precipitously at L.L. Bean, I guess. My wife's older pair of these lasted for years... Not so much this time. We'll be bringing them back.

I bought these slippers over ten years ago and the difference between the quality then and now is sad. These feel like a piece of cardboard is on the bottom of them with a thin piece of suede over top, nothing like the old ones. The quality of LLbean is certainly declining. I will never purchase items from there again.

Several family members (Mom, Dad & myself) had older style Buffalo Plaid LL Bean slippers that lasted SO many years. They just got tattered looking. So a couple of years ago splurged and bought a new pair.
They are nothing like older slippers. Quality is terrible. Stitching wore in toes and heels in less than a years time. I had to sew with wool yarn. Be aware, if you think these slippers will last (like your old ones) be warned they will not. A lot of money to spend on something with such poor quality. LL Bean used to be synonymous with unbeatable quality--sadly that is NOT the case where their slippers are concerned.

Just not the same as they used to be: little to no cushioning and couldn't tell left from right.

I'm very disappointed in the quality of these slippers. I have a different pair of slippers from them, which was a little big, so I figured I should size down from my usual size 8. Size 7 was too tight, so I exchanged them with size 8. They both said they were an 8; however, one was loose and the other side was very snug. So I had them exchanged with another pair of size 8. This time the size were the same, but the quality of stitching was terrible and the size of the triangular patch at the top were completely different. I could feel someone else's toe prints inside the slippers. I don't really feel like wasting more time waiting for another pair, but I'm considering to just return them completely. Considering the price, I'm very disappointed in their quality.

I have bought these slippers twice. Within 6 months of purchasing the first pair, the stitching on the bottom frayed and I had a hole. I loved these so much, however, that I decided to buy another pair and try again. Shame on me because the same thing happened. While these are incredibly warm and comfortable, they do not hold up considering the price.
