I got these slippers last November--and I loved them. I wore them whenever I was home. But after 8 months of wearing them, a hole emerged in the toe. The inner shearling is very much worn down and not nearly as cozy as when they first arrived. I was thinking about ordering another pair, because they were truly wonderful for the first 6-7 months I had them, but seeing the other negative reviews about poor construction and quality, I am unfortunately going to look elsewhere. It seems like people who bought these slippers years ago received a much higher quality product.

This is my second pair of these slippers. The first pair lasted several years, but this second pair is not as well constructed and the cording is breaking, causing the sole to come off. Also, the sheepskin wore out much more quickly on this pair than my first pair. I have only had these for a little over one year and they fell apart. Go back to your previous producer.

I absolutely love the slippers! However, the leather tore away from the seam after less then two weeks of evening wear. I am hoping this was a defect and that the situation will be rectified. In which case I would highly recommend the slippers. They are the most comfortable I have found.

This slipper has been a favorite in my family for over 25 years. However, I was greatly disappointed in the last 2 pairs I purchased. I used to only need a new pair every two years. Then, all of a sudden, I needed a new pair every year since they started to fall apart early. The last pair I purchased only about 3 months ago, and the stitching is already coming apart! Something has changed in the quality of this product and I'm not happy with it anymore. Otherwise a wonderful, cozy slipper...too bad they aren't as durable as they used to be.

These are really nice-looking slippers, but they didn't fit my feet well. I love LL Bean but was disappointed with this purchase and am returning them.

I bought these 6 months ago and only wore them inside. Already spring a hole above the seam. Disappointing since I splurged $100 for them.

First off, I loved these slippers. They were so cozy and warm and I wore them inside during the winter on tile floors and they kept my feet so happy. However, after only a year, (about 3 months of actually wearing them since we have pretty short winters) the stitching on the top of the slipper came apart and I was told to mail them in for an exchange. Once I mailed them in I was called and told that because the slippers showed wear the faulty stitching was not due to a manufacturer error and I should get hard soled slippers. The lady on the phone was quite brisk and continued to insist it was my fault and that the people who I spoke to via email "misspoke." It is very clear from the slippers that there was literally no wear on the top of the slipper (you can see from the sole where the actual wear happens, and there was no issue with that.) The whole conversation was really disappointing as I loved the slippers and the brand (I've actually bought several for family members), and now wouldn't recommend either.

These started out really nice but there was a problem with the stiching. Shouldn't happen with $100 slippers.

Warning: I had these years ago and loved them. But after some time, the soles became very slick. I slipped on my wooden stairs and landed hard on my butt, which turned black! I was sore for many weeks. Ditched them for a different style with a rubber bottom.

Received these as a gift in December 2023. Less than a year in, the top near the tongue tore, and now, not quite 2 years in, the stitching on the side is tearing out in two places.

Ive had a pair for 15 years and theyre still awesome. So disappointed that when i went to order a pair for my girl to see all the reviews of qaulity has gone down hill. The clothes Ive ordered are a similar story, no where near as heavy material

These are so cozy, but I had to revisit the LL Bean website to make sure these aren't available in two widths because the pair I received is way tooooo narrow on my right foot and perfect on my left. I have never experienced this before with any other shoes, so it's not my feet that are inconsistent - it's the pair of slippers I ordered. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I have ordered these slippers a total of 4 times. The first pair a few years ago were great, and I thought I'd found my forever slipper. I wore them almost everyday, all day, for 2 years. Then I replaced them, and the next pair felt like the old pair after a year! Worn out! They were very loose, and the shearling was thin- these were not as comfortable and didn't last long- they became very loose and the shearling wore out in patches so the foot bed became uncomfortable- they felt disposable. I ordered another pair this Fall, hoping that the last pair was a fluke. Unfortunately this 3rd pair was SUPER NARROW and uncomfortable- and I do not have wide feet. I thought maybe they were defective, so I called customer service and they sent over a replacement. Unfortunately this 4th pair was also extremely narrow and uncomfortable- the toe box was painful. One slipper was so bad it was hard to tell if it was supposed to be for the right or left foot (?!?). These were a heritage product for LL Bean, but these slippers were unwearable, and they are too inconsistent to be a "forever" slipper- so you've lost a return customer. It has made me question the quality of LL Bean as a whole- which is sad, because I grew up with LL Bean, and my family and I have ordered your products for decades. This, and a cotton turtleneck I bought that shrunk a good 3 inches over time- washed in cold and hung up to dry- it is like a child's shirt now- WHY???? If you're a heritage brand, you need good, consistent quality that customers can rely on. Something has changed, and it is not good.

I tried these again and I'm very unhappy with them. As I wore them the suede soles got very shiny and slippery. In fact today I had a fall with them sliding on the floor. They are toasty warm. They do spot with water and get ugly looking. I'm going to order the plaid slippers with shearling , they do have a rubber type sole.

These used to be wicked good, really great slippers, then they changed the stitching material and they are a total rip off. They fall apart quickly.

I bought a pair of Wicked Good slippers about 9 years ago. Excellent slippers, but they were ready to be replaced. I bought what seemed to be exactly the same slippers, same size and name, and they are so narrow that I can't get my feet into them. My mom has smaller feet and she couldn't get her feet into them either. They are going back.

I've had two pairs of these slippers over the years and loved them, but these are way too narrow. They looked weird right out of the box. I know they should start out snug, but the soles (9M) are 1/4" narrower than my old pair. These aren't just snug; they're uncomfortable. I think this is the first LL Bean order ever that has disappointed. I'm sending them back -- and feeling bad that I have to pay to do that.

The ordering process is a pain. I don't want to create some "true fit" profile that gives a bunch of information about what other brands I may or may not enjoy so it can be sold to a million lists. I just want to order shoes that fit and be given a size chart where I can take my own measurements. Very disappointed in the process.

The sides of the slippers provide no support. My foot slides off the soul of the slippers as a result. These do not have enough support for my feet. Otherwise, they are warm and beautiful.

Careful! The bottoms of these slippers can become slick when worn. It's easy to slip in them especially in a wet environment like a kitchen or bathroom.

I have owned these slippers and loved them for roughly five years. Last week I pulled too hard on the back and the stitching came undone. I re-ordered a new pair. I was incredibly disappointed when they arrived today. The shearling used is thinner, and of lower quality. They have less padding at the bottom- I tried on my old pair to compare and even it being worn for five years has more padding now than the new one. Overall, they are lighter, and feel cheaper. As a long-time LLBean customer, I was really disappointed.

The slipper noted it was a soft sole. However, it still had a thick bottom inside, so it was not a soft sole. Also, the first shipment did not arrive. I had the slippers resent with a promise it would arrive before Christmas. It arrived 3 days after Christmas. I returned them and was not pleased I had to pay for the return.

Lousy shearling cutting. Top edge on right was too sheared, left slipper was fine. Can't exchange at the store, only orderable online, or tte store will online order, but if it's wrong again you have to exchange again! Not customer oriented anymore.
