These are so cozy, but I had to revisit the LL Bean website to make sure these aren't available in two widths because the pair I received is way tooooo narrow on my right foot and perfect on my left. I have never experienced this before with any other shoes, so it's not my feet that are inconsistent - it's the pair of slippers I ordered. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I have ordered these slippers a total of 4 times. The first pair a few years ago were great, and I thought I'd found my forever slipper. I wore them almost everyday, all day, for 2 years. Then I replaced them, and the next pair felt like the old pair after a year! Worn out! They were very loose, and the shearling was thin- these were not as comfortable and didn't last long- they became very loose and the shearling wore out in patches so the foot bed became uncomfortable- they felt disposable. I ordered another pair this Fall, hoping that the last pair was a fluke. Unfortunately this 3rd pair was SUPER NARROW and uncomfortable- and I do not have wide feet. I thought maybe they were defective, so I called customer service and they sent over a replacement. Unfortunately this 4th pair was also extremely narrow and uncomfortable- the toe box was painful. One slipper was so bad it was hard to tell if it was supposed to be for the right or left foot (?!?). These were a heritage product for LL Bean, but these slippers were unwearable, and they are too inconsistent to be a "forever" slipper- so you've lost a return customer. It has made me question the quality of LL Bean as a whole- which is sad, because I grew up with LL Bean, and my family and I have ordered your products for decades. This, and a cotton turtleneck I bought that shrunk a good 3 inches over time- washed in cold and hung up to dry- it is like a child's shirt now- WHY???? If you're a heritage brand, you need good, consistent quality that customers can rely on. Something has changed, and it is not good.

I tried these again and I'm very unhappy with them. As I wore them the suede soles got very shiny and slippery. In fact today I had a fall with them sliding on the floor. They are toasty warm. They do spot with water and get ugly looking. I'm going to order the plaid slippers with shearling , they do have a rubber type sole.

These used to be wicked good, really great slippers, then they changed the stitching material and they are a total rip off. They fall apart quickly.

I bought a pair of Wicked Good slippers about 9 years ago. Excellent slippers, but they were ready to be replaced. I bought what seemed to be exactly the same slippers, same size and name, and they are so narrow that I can't get my feet into them. My mom has smaller feet and she couldn't get her feet into them either. They are going back.

I've had two pairs of these slippers over the years and loved them, but these are way too narrow. They looked weird right out of the box. I know they should start out snug, but the soles (9M) are 1/4" narrower than my old pair. These aren't just snug; they're uncomfortable. I think this is the first LL Bean order ever that has disappointed. I'm sending them back -- and feeling bad that I have to pay to do that.

The ordering process is a pain. I don't want to create some "true fit" profile that gives a bunch of information about what other brands I may or may not enjoy so it can be sold to a million lists. I just want to order shoes that fit and be given a size chart where I can take my own measurements. Very disappointed in the process.

They ripped apart at the seams. :( Didn't even last 6 months and they fell apart.

The sides of the slippers provide no support. My foot slides off the soul of the slippers as a result. These do not have enough support for my feet. Otherwise, they are warm and beautiful.

Careful! The bottoms of these slippers can become slick when worn. It's easy to slip in them especially in a wet environment like a kitchen or bathroom.

I have owned these slippers and loved them for roughly five years. Last week I pulled too hard on the back and the stitching came undone. I re-ordered a new pair. I was incredibly disappointed when they arrived today. The shearling used is thinner, and of lower quality. They have less padding at the bottom- I tried on my old pair to compare and even it being worn for five years has more padding now than the new one. Overall, they are lighter, and feel cheaper. As a long-time LLBean customer, I was really disappointed.

The slipper noted it was a soft sole. However, it still had a thick bottom inside, so it was not a soft sole. Also, the first shipment did not arrive. I had the slippers resent with a promise it would arrive before Christmas. It arrived 3 days after Christmas. I returned them and was not pleased I had to pay for the return.

Lousy shearling cutting. Top edge on right was too sheared, left slipper was fine. Can't exchange at the store, only orderable online, or tte store will online order, but if it's wrong again you have to exchange again! Not customer oriented anymore.

Has to return these. The soles were basically two different sizes-both length and width. Very uncomfortable to wear.

I just received these slippers and I should have accepted the reviews I read and NEVER ordered them! To begin with, they truly are sooooo difficult to get on and I don't have any dexterity issues. Secondly, I have no idea why the "arch" support feels like it is placed on the side of the slippers!! LL BEAN...what have you done with your quality?? It's not what it "used to be"! I'll definitely be returning!!

I bought the old style these slippers for decades. I bought another pair a while back to eventually replace the older ones when the older ones finally fell apart. That time has arrived and I found that the newer ones were not the same style as the older ones. The foot opening is too small and the slippers pull in my socks. The left slipper is defective and pushes my foot to the inside of it like the outside is too high. This newer style is very disappointing and I won't be buying them again. I will have to look elsewhere for quality slippers. I may sew up the older ones yet again and keep wearing them until I can find a better pair.

These slippers are 5 years old. My wife wears these around the house when cooler temperatures arrive. 4-6 months out of the year. I have just found out about this, but she told me that these slippers have been ripped at the seam at the toes for the last 3 or so years! If I had known earlier, I would have requested a refund or replacement.

I have owned Wicked Good Slippers twice over the years my recent purchase is the third pair. The quality has declined remarkably. They were much too small, the top barely reached my ankles and the shearling is very thin. My right heal slipped about as I walked. I purchased size 8 and clearly need a 9 which I believe will be too large however due to the poor quality I will not exchange for one size up. Very disappointed, LLBean use to be top quality. I have returned the slippers for a refund. I shall search elsewhere for new slippers.

These slippers are nothing like the slippers I bought 15 years ago from LL Bean. The "shearling wool" is very scratchy. I'm not sure it is wool. The sole of the slipper is of lower quality. I don't appreciate having to pay a return fee to try on a product I thought I knew was of high quality.

I bought these slippers for my mother as a gift, but she quickly returned them to me. After I started wearing them, I found out why. The soles flop down to one side! The ipart of the sole on the indside of the foot is thicker than the outside, so you foot always feels like it is sliding off the footbed. Cannot walk in them! Horrible! Worst slippers I have ever had and the most expensive I have ever paid for - $100 dollars!!!

Bought these slippers a couple of months ago figuring I'd get a nice comfy pair of warm slippers. WRONG! Yes, they are made from real lambs wool and are warm, once they are on. But they have no shape, no stiffness on the sides, nothing to help them slip on. No, you have to reach Dow and pull them on and, when sitting down, there's nothing to keep them from slipping off the feet. L.L.Bean used to sell quality products that would last for years. No more. Will NEVER recommend these slippers and am now reluctant to buy anything else from them. Sad since I've been shopping L.L.Bean for decades.

I had to return these, which were mean to be a replacement for a pair I have been wearing 15 plus years. The inner liner is worn through in areas, but they are in phenomenal shape otherwise. Those who have only bought the recent version have no idea the difference in quality. Theses new ones were too short, and my previous ones fit fine out of the box. The stitching did bot appear to be finished well, and the suede uppers and soles were more like a chamois cloth and much thinner. The lining was not as dense, and my foot slid around, causing my ankle to turn when walking. I own many other LL Bean products that I enjoy, but have noticed a marked decrease in quality over the years. Sadly, the Bean name used to be synonymous with quality. A shame, as these original slippers were the best slippers I have ever owned. Since they were in excellent shape other than the insole, I purchased replacement insoles elsewhere. So disappointed!

Opening not big enough to slide feet into slippers. Slipper length was fine, but could barely get my foot into the left slipper. Couldn't get my right foot in at all. Most disappointed. Returned. Not risking another return fee, so didn't exchange for a different size.

I should have paid more attention to the 2-star reviews, but having owned my original pair of Wicked Good Slippers for MANY years, bought them for others, and assumed LLBean quality was as good as ever, I recently bought a new pair, and like others have stated, the quality is not even close to the same. The lining is thin and feels synthetic, the exterior also thin and more like paper than suede or leather. I looked for a product description to see what materials are used in making these slippers, and could not find one. Also note that the photos shown on the website look like my old slippers, NOT what the new ones I received look like. This feels like a bait-and-switch, which is why I'm only giving one star. It is a sad day indeed when even LLBean quality can no longer be trusted on such a classic item. I will not be purchasing these again.
