I was really surprised at the weight of the slippers. They are much thinner than I had expected so am returning them. Not the normal quality that I have learned to expect from Bean.

I had purchased the Wicked Good Slippers 3 years ago and was thrilled at the quality. I told everyone I knew that they MUST purchase these. So I ordered them again and when I opened the box and slipped them on I was shocked. There is no resemblance whatsoever to the first pair. Quality is horrible....the stitching of the soles are uneven between the two....the shearing is flimsy compared to the thick shearing of the first and that applies to the thin suede as well. The design has been changed and they literally slide and slip off my foot so the size has changed. But the price has gone up. I would think these are an embarrassment for LL Bean. Mine are being returned.

I hate to give these slippers a bad review because I've been ordering them for years but I just recieved a new pair a few weeks ago and they had a terrible odor! Not sure if they recently added a protective coating or something to them but the smell was unbearable and I had to return them. Also felt like my feet would "roll" to the outside when I walked in them and I don't remember that happening with my last few pairs. Really a shame and will look elsewhere for a new pair of slippers!

I wore a pair of Wicked Good Slippers for ten years and finally decided I was ready for a new pair. The Wicked Good Slippers have changed dramatically! The ones I received in the mail feel like a completely different slipper. The material is thin and flimsy, the lining started falling off the first time I tried them on, and the colors of the heel patches are different on both slippers and neither matches the rest of the slippers. I am so disappointed, LL Bean! Based on my first pair, I expect great things from a pair of LL Bean slippers. These are definitely not the high quality I expect, and most definitely not worth $59.

I am an extremely loyal LL Bean shopper and one of your biggest fans. I suggested to my wife to try these slippers. When they arrived we both were extremely disappointed with them. We are considering returning them because the quality is so poor compared to what we have come to expect from LL Bean. 60.00 slippers should be far better quality. I am surprised at LL Bean. MB

I had my first paid of Wicked slippers for 4 yrs until I wore a hole through them, so I ordered a new pair for the upcoming winter. Even though I ordered the same size, the slipper was tighter and more narrow. The lining was not as plush. I've returned them, disappointed and wonder how I'm going to keep my feet warm this winter.

I bought these because I trust the quality of LL Bean. Not this time. First package arrived with wrong size. The box was marked with correct size but a different size was inside box? I exchanged the wrong size for correct ones. Then after wearing these maybe a dozen times in 1 month the sole seperated from the shoe near the toe. I didn't walk much in them, just wore them in the winter evenings to watch tv.

I have owned several pairs of this slipper, and love them. I just had some bad luck this time in that the first pair that came had a defect. There was a sticker on the inside sole of the right slipper THAT WOULD NOT COME OFF, and when a tiny piece of it did come off, the inner sole tore away and came with it. The second pair that they sent me tore on the top when I was putting them on three days after getting them. I am still wearing them because the thought of sending them back makes me tired!

Had an older pair of these slippers and loved them til the stitching came apart. Got a new pair and they are not as thick and comfy and not was well made either. I put them on and a tuft of lining came off in my hand. Did not feel that they lived up to LL Bean standards and returned them. Very sad.

The quality of the slippers where not worth the $ 49 price tag. There was no top edge on the leather, no where close to the ones I had bought years ago. They also ran a little small. Overall I would recommend them.

I have owned LL Beans Wicked Good slippers for over a decade and receive a new pair faithfully from family every year. I wear them every day and even take them on vacations... It's just not a cozy Saturday morning without them! This year, the new slipper felt a bit different and when I compared it to my old, worn out slipper I realized that the quality had decreased dramatically. The walls of the new slipper are much thinner, even flimsy. They are not supportive and certainly not cozy. I am so disappointed. I know LLBean will allow me to return them, but where will I find the slippers that I loved so much? Please bring the old quality back!!!!!

I purchased a pair for my wife and myself to replace the set I purchased 5 years ago. The original pair were fantastic. When the new sets arrived we were excited until we tried them on. The quality was not the same, it was now gone. I ordered the exact same sizes as before but they were physically smaller when held bottom to bottom. The inside material has also changed and not as fluffy as before. My wife said that both of her feet felt like she was walking on the right sides of her feet because the bottoms were not flat. I could barely get the slippers on my feet. A card comes in the box telling you that they will be tight and will relax as you wear them. My original slippers looked great, felt great and lasted a long time. I boxed up both pairs and sent them back. I do not mind paying $50 each..I would pay $100 each but they were not the same quality that I have come to expect from L.L. Bean. Sorry!

It was indicated that you were out of the slippers that I have worn for many years, so I ordered the substitute. Neither I or my daughter-in-law could wear them. They were lined with a different lining and everytime we got near anything metal we were zapped with static electricity. I am returning them for exchange. I want the old kind that is pictured in this review.

bought these for my wife for Christmas and already one of the slippers has a hole in one of the sides where the stitiching seam is. the stitches have given way--big hole in one shoe now.she has worn them maybe 2-3x thats it! shes petite and her feet arent that wide or big or anything like that. have never had this type of quality issue with any LL Bean product (has always been great quality stuff!)...but for these slippers to fall apart so quickly felt the need to post this.

These slippers looked great. When I received them one had a manufacturing defect on where the upper part of the slipper was inserted too far into the sole. This made the fit extremely tight. This is only the second product defect in 40 years of purchasing products from LLB. If if wasn't for this defect the slippers would have been great product.

I'm sure that the product is fine, but I used your sizing guide and they were way too small. We returned them at an LL Bean where we told that they could not or would not order the replacement and did not have the item anyway. This was a Christmas gift. One of the attractive things was the free shipping. Now in order to get a replacement at the correct size I will have to pay for shipping. I feel like I have been taken advantage by the company.

I had apair of these years ago and loved them. Very sturdy and warm. I was very disappointed when I received this new pair. size runs very small and not as well made kind of cheap. The same thing can be bought at discount stores for alot less, I will be returning them and not getting any more.

I have purchased these slippers before and loved them. When it came time to buy a new pair I was so happy with the first pair that I thought I would buy the same slippers. I don't know what happen, these slippers seemed to be redesigned. The suede is much thinner and the lining is much thinner. I do not think they will be as durable. I will be returning these slippers and buying uggs.

I was very disappointed with the Wicked Good Slipper. I have been ordering these slippers for over 10 years so it was a surprise to find out they changed the filling of the slipper. The slipper arrived with a different look, different feel, and way too big because of the small amount of "filler" it is not using.I am sending back.

I've had two pairs before. This pair the outer material is much much thinner making for a looser fit and sloppy and cheap looking and I don't think they'll last (they used to fit just right and be snuggly comfy warm), and the lining is now a fluffy material that looks so loose it will come falling out (the older pairs had a nice thick lining). Not anything I'd pay $50 for. Actually wouldn't pay anything for these - not what I'd expect from LLBean at all.

I have been wearing these slippers for years and years ... have bought many a pair and loved them all. However, today I was disappointed to receive my brand new pair to find they have changed the styling. These are definitely not as good quality and don't fit as well as the previous style. Additionally the right looks completely different to the left ... very disappointed and have put my old battered slippers back on and will be returning these tomorrow. On the look out for new slippers now ... such a disappointment. Beans ... please go back to the old style and make me and, by the looks of things, many other faithful slipper shoppers happy.

I wore these for two weeks and they stretched about a size. They are also poorly put together and look like they would rip easily. I returned them and took my 20 year old slippers to the cobbler for new soles.

The seams of the "Wicked Good Slippers" were sewn with rock hard thread that pressed against my big toes, very uncomfortable. No I don't wear a wide shoe. I had a pair of the low top slippers years ago, wore them out and decided to get a new pair. I returned these.

what people are saying about the changes. I had a pair of these for YEARS and only needed new ones when the stitching wore thru. The next pair did not last a year before all the insides were matted down and my toes sticking to the inside of the slipper. Getting another pair of new ones this week, hope they have heeded the cries and changed back!!

The change last year should never have been made. The split at the top which is now the same as the mens design is way too sloppy a fit and again, LLBean has seen fit to RUIN a long time terrific product. If it aint broke - dont fix it. Steer clear.
