I returned these boots after trying them on. The seam between the upper and lower was exposed and rough. I checked other boots of this style in store when I returned them and all were the same blister causing seam. Not acceptable in a boot that costs over $200

These boots were HORRIBLE, they were VERY narrow, even though I ordered a Wide width (which I have NEVER done before, but that was all they had when I ordered). I spent about 30 mins with 2 different sales associates in Customer Service before I ordered going over what size to buy, they informed me that my regular size 9 would be the best fit, since i planned on wearing it with thick wool socks. When they arrived they were literally 2" too big. I could actually put a measuring tape inside the shoe and measured 2" of space between my heel and the back of the boot. I felt like they sent a mens size on accident, but nope checked the box, W9W. Then i had to spend $6.50 to return them and its been over a month since the return and I still have NOT received my refund. So totally disappointed in LLBean and this entire experience that I won't EVER do business with them again. Sad, LLBean used to be one of my favorite companies todo business with. This purchased turned me off :(

The seam runs around the entire inside of the shoe and as others have mentioned it's curious why it's not covered in fleece. I usually wear a size 8 and these were huge, even with socks. I'm frustrated as I waited for these on back order and now I've got to go find something else just as the cold weather starts up again.

I bought a pair a couple of years ago; they are perfect for farm work in the winter, but my son has been using them so I have tried to purchase a new pair for over 6 months and they are still out of stock! Six months is unreasonable. I'm very disappointed, especially since several sales have come and gone, which would have been nice to use on these expensive (but worth it) boots. When I first bought them, I had to wait several months because of back-orders. Come on L.L.Bean - get it together, figure it out, and supply your customers with what they want.
