I ordered a size 9 which I wear in every type of shoe but a tennis shoe (9-1/2). Will return these boots for an 8-1/2. I have a more narrow foot and this boot is just a normal/medium width, but I'll have to deal with it.

I purchased these boots for a trip to Ireland. It is highly recommended to have waterproof footwear in Ireland. These boots fit great, are comfortable and they kept my feet warm and dry. I did get them muddy and they wiped clean with some paper towels.

Fits well but needs break-in period. Comfortable foot-bed. I wear all day, most days at a commercial nursery.

Love the look of this boot however I wish the boot fit the type of feet that I currently have. This boot looked in person like a boot that can be versatile, rugged yet not heavy.

I bought these in black in my usual 7.5 because several reviews say they're a perfect fit true to size and because LL Bean says to buy your usual size or go up. Unfortunately, these were massive. I'm talking I looked like I had clown shoes on. Since there's no option for exchange, I ordered a half-size down and decided to eat the return fee. However, even a 7 is too big. Thicker socks would be too tight around my foot, but there's so much toe space. So now I need to return two pairs double fee and would have to risk another possible return to try a 6.5. They're so cute (especially if you swap the laces for black ones), but it's such a bummer LL Bean won't offer a free exchange when they are way off on their own size advice.

Very comfortable, needed no break in time. I read some negative reviews about the fit but mine fit perfectly, Im an 81/2. They fit perfectly! I have funky feet and have to be careful what I put on them, dont usually buy online. I love these boots! Will probably buy a brown pair next.

These boots fit perfectly right out of the box and give my feet and ankles great support while also looking good. While they could be worn as hiking boots I use them for work and yard chores.

Love these boots! Nice and warm, comfy and stylish! I bought them in my true size and dont find them to be too big. There also wasnt any break in time needed! I put them on and went right to work with no pain or blisters. So happy I bought these! I would buy these again and again.

I wear a 7-7.5 in women's and I bought a size 6 in black which was too small. My toes hit the front end. I am trading this shoe for a bigger size which is 6.5 and I hope it fits. The boots are very comfortable and well insulated. The weight is a lot lighter than most heavy boots I have had in the past. The only down fall to these boots are the sizing is way off. The sizing is more of a mans sizes. The boots are beautiful and will last many years. Great quality.

These are the most comfortable boots Ive had in a long timebut not surprised because they are LL Bean boots! I took the advice of previous reviews and ordered a half size smaller. They are awesome boots and I would highly recommend them!

These may look like soft suede boots but theyre really firm leather boots that need to be broken in before they become comfortable. They provide good traction in the snow and good rigidity for your ankles on bumpy ground. I had to replace the laces so they stayed tied tight. Now that theyre broken in, I wear them all day long. They also keep my feet dry in heavy rain.

Great boots! They are comfortable and waterproof. Only complaint is they run big. I have to wear heavy socks.

Quick to lace up, stylish, comfortable, and warm. I was looking for an everyday winter boot that was not a snow boot, and this fits the bill perfectly.

Great boot but runs 1/2 size too large. I am a solid 8, first pair too long so ordered a second pair and they are too long as well. So back they go, I ordered a 7.5 and am hoping they fit. You can see in the picture where my toes are.

Unfortunately, I had to return. I ordered my normal size and they seemed to be about 3 sizes too big.

These boots are really nice but were stretched out by the 2nd time I used them. It's frustration because I really like them but I have to wear huge wool socks to use them and that's no fun. I would buy again but go smaller.

Seriously comfortable, soft leather and great fit. I followed the advise of other reviewers and ordered a half size down and the fit is great! The only thing I didnt like is the laces, they are short and stiff. I switched them to longer flat laces that stay tied all day. Otherwise the boot is perfect and I cant wait to buy another pair in brown!

Well fitting, well made, and cute, too! Ive been searching for a good, solid boot for some time. Didnt want a bunch of bells and whistles, just a classic style that would stand the test of time. These are those boots. Sizing : went down half a size. Perfect.

I wore these boots for 10 days all over Ireland and they were perfect! I wanted to pack light and not bring several pairs of shoes and these fit the bill. They were waterproof and warm for rainy hiking days but also lightweight and cute enough to wear to dinner in town. They are a great investment piece! The only feedback I have is that I wish they were offered in a 10.5.

I have wide feet and a big bunion in each foot. I also have a serious knee problem. Most shoes give me pain, but these boots have been incredibly comfortable since the moment I put them on. I bought another pair before they run out my size. Now I have brown and black pairs and 200% satisfied!

Im on my feet all day, and these are working out great. I did size down from a solid 10 to a 9 1/2 and all is right with the world. Soft leather, water proof, light not clunky, and a comfy flexible sole. I realize these are a bit pricey, but a good pair of boots like these will last years.

OH MY STARS! Straight out of the box , 12 hour shift on concrete,,, these were the best Ive ever had! In my 13 year career Ive put on many boots, spent a lot of money, add inserts, more money,,, Im on day 7 and my feet, heels and arches feel incredible! No inserts either!!!
