Lots of cushion but run slightly small due to the slight turning up of the shoe at the end. They are okay for shorter runs but rub/hurt my toes when I run or walk too far. I love Kayanos for their support. Last year's model was perfect but side-by-side, these are slightly smaller, so I'm disappointed.

I bought these shoes about 2 months ago, I have been buying the Gel-Kayano's for a long time and this is the first time I have ever gotten blisters from by shoes. It's those darn in soles, they have a small ledge around them and they rub against the back of my heel and is causing blisters and callouses

I purchased regular width but they seem to be wider than my other pair that is the exact same

Shoes are pretty good, but the sizing feels off. I wear a 6.5 and got a 7 since I always size up for running shoes, but a 7.5 probably would have been better. Emailed customer service to see about an exchange but never heard back.

I have bought many different ASICS shoes in size 9.5 wide over several years and have been quite happy with the fit. Unfortunately, this model runs small (or certainly seems that way) especially in the area of toe box. I thought that it needs some time to break in. I wore over 10 runs, and my toes hurt each time I wear them. Other features of this pair are quite good, so it's very unfortunate that I cannot wear them. From now on, I will have to try them out before taking the tags off to be sure that

Good shoes - a bit heavy. Also, wide sizes do not come in better colors or more neutral colors. My foot is already wider! I don't wish to draw attention to it with bright colored shoes.

I really like the fit of these shoes. They look really great too.

I bought these a few months ago and hated the way they fit compares to the gel kayano 27. I did get used to them and they are super comfortable, but anytime I try to do any type of strenuous exercises or work outs, my feet move too much inside the shoe, causing my ankles pain. I have gone back to my kayano 27 for working out, but the 29s are fine for walking or wearing throughout the day. Wish they would go back to the older style for fit, if the new models fit like these I may need to find a new shoe.

While the padding is excellent, the shoe is somewhat narrow across the middle of my feet, even after loosening the laces so I can barely tie the shoes.

This GEL-KAYANO 29 does not have any arch support.

Highly recommended shoe. I thought I'd give it a try because of the medical professional nod. The cushioning was fine but this shoe does not fit me around the top of my foot. The laces all the way up to the top was too tight and below was too loose. I really wanted to love this shoe. I guess I'll go back to gt2000's.

I bought these as the chart states maximum cushion. They are okay but I've bought other ASICS that had more. I wish they still sold those as they are better.

I am not at all happy with the change Asics has done to the Gel-Kayano. I have worn this design for quite a while and they always fit and felt comfortable. This time around Ascis decided we needed rockers in the bottom of the shoes to help prepell us forward. All they do it make the shoe feel weird. I hope they go back to the original design. The shoes run short, and go up high up too high on the ankle. I use these for walking, they throw your cadance off. I can't imagine using these for running.

I have mixed feelings about the pros and cons of these shoes. For me the most important factor was comfort. I always bought gel kayano and always was pleased even though these changed a lot from previous older versions that I had. Pro: they are comfortable with nice interior cushioning, and good heel support and the large toe front is a plus for me I do not have larger feet but I like to be comfortable. Cons: they are not the most stylish sneaker out there so I opted for the total black to be less visible and yes as other says I think they are a bit squicky when walking but I need to verify more in-depth because I thought I've noticed the squicking while walking in the home going out, when the home was quiet. I bought these shoes when they were on sale, probably was not going to spend the full amount on them.

Purchased a size 13 regular men's shoe online. The KAYANO 29 shoes arrived and were too small and tight. I. Hold not wear them comfortably. I also note that the shoe's laces were too short. I had to return them back to ASICS. I have purchased ASICS in the past and they were always great shoes and fit well. This pair may have been mis-sized.

I did not keep them. For some reason the size I always wears, these shoes were too tight in toes. I have another pair same brand same size. These shoes may run small.

Just okay, not as good as previous kayanos. Material cheaper and shorter laces

For me, too big toe area and not much cushion, and felt my feet burning. I guess they're not meant for me. I'll be trying another version but at a store, so I can be sure they'll be the right running shoe for my needs.

Too firm - absolutely killed my feet. Not sure why but the Gel Kayanos have not been the same in the last few iterations as the earlier models.

Why mess with a good thing?? I have an old pair of 26s that have held up SO much better than my recent 29s. Plus the 29s are definitely longer and the toe box is narrower. Asics: I have been a long time fan but might have to switch to a different brand :(

I purchased these for nurses week as my current ASICS were almost a year old. I also got another pair- different style. The other ones were amazing! These however hurt my feet and are not comfortable. I got the same size as I usually do, but these pinch my toes and hurt my arches. I don't like them , and would return them for sure.

Cool look and color, but the MK design did not work for me. Really challenging to get foot in and out of shoes with the fixed tongue laces."

Fit well. The inside side ripped in 6 weeks of wearing. The back of the heel as well. I untied when putting on, and still ripped. Fabric is too flimsy.

Enough though I did the online survey to choose the correct shoe for my foot, the choice was wrong. The shoes are too firm and very uncomfortable. I tried to return the shoes but was told no because I did not have the box they came in.
