Been wearing Kayano's for 10 years and these 29s are super comfortable! The 28s were pretty bad but these are definitely up there in comfort and shape. Only issue is that I need to size up. Going to return and size up and hopefully they'll be great from there.

Love the feel in my arc with this shoes I feel like I am on the air.

I love the gel kayano and have worn them for over 10 years. I had to go a half size up for these and the heel box is still very flimsy and folds down on itself. Even when I was purposeful to untie and retire my shoes the first two weeks, it still broke down as if I smashed it while putting it on each time. I still love the support but please upgrade the heel foam. The 28's were the same way.

My daughter loves them except for the fact that we had to super glie them back together twice and had to use a warranty replacement on them.

Very comfortable for about 30 minutes, then my feet hurt. Purchase them for a 5K, and then breaking them in. Still hurt my feet. Will have to wear my other ASIC gels.

I replaced my shoes with the same model and was surprised that my new shoes are not as water resistant. My old shoe kept my feet dry and the new ones do not, after one walk with light rain. Did something change with manufacturing? My old shoes were about a year old; I live in MN and walk all winter in these shoes (sometimes with cleats when needed). The fit is good.

The design change in the heel, more specifically the ankle is frustrating. It is too soft, pulls my socks down and doesn't hold its shape.

This sneaker is easily damaged around the toe area. I have worn them five times and they are pilled at the toe. The support is wonderful.

I don't like the new style. It feels like there is no structure to it. And to be honest, they're pretty ugly but I know it's not about looks, it's about functionality. I've been wearing Asics for years and recently enjoyed the Kayanos but this year not so great. My husband also got a new pair and they didn't meet his expectation either.

Although it is a great shoe, the feel of it seems to have changed from previous purchases. The sizing seems smaller leaving my toes to ache and heels actually burn. I've never had this problem with my shoes in over 15 years of buying Asics. I have bought 2 pairs of shoes every year for the past 15 years or so and have never had any sort of discomfort or pain as I am experiencing now. Makes me almost want to return them! This is my 5th pair of shoes I have purchased in 2024 too (ugh)

These run small! I have narrow feet and still should have gotten at least a half size up.

This is my fifth pair of this particular shoe and every time a new version comes out, I'm hoping it will fit as well as my current pair. The ones I received this time have a very strange fit, it's almost like the ball and heel of my foot are supported and the arch is not. I feel like I'm rocking from heel to toe when I walk, I'm not really understanding why the shoe fits like this.

What I would give to get my gel Kayano 28 back! While the 29s are okay, they are narrower than the 28's. I have a narrow foot but these standards are pushing my tolerance. I wouldn't order another pair. As much as I have loved the gel Kayanos, I will be looking for an alternative

I bought these to train for a half marathon. I wore them for a couple short training sessions on the treadmill and today was my long run (6.5 miles) and I couldn't complete it. The balls of my feet hurt so bad. Even now, 8 hrs post run they hurt to walk. I wish I could return them, if they accepted returns, I would. They are stylish and the uppers are very comfy. I just need more cushioning.

Shoes are ok. Not as cushiony as advertised and relatively no arch support. Not happy but wore them before I read the refund policy which states they must not have been worn outside if returning. That doesn't make sense since you need some time to make sure they are good for you and if you can't wear them outside to walk then how do you test them?

Over the last year, every pair of Asics Kayano 29 runners I buy is different. One is too short, the other too long. The length of shoelaces varies. This time, it's the tongue that's too short compared with another identical pair I have in the identical colour. This means the tongue cuts into the foot while running. It seems that Asics uses different manufacturers and can't exercise adequate quality control to ensure consistency.

I absolutely love ASICS and don't buy anything less because I've always been pleased with them but unfortunately I am now regretting getting these. They hurt my feet pretty bad and I believe it's the "honeycomb shaped core in the soles that are designed for women's feet" I will not be getting another pair of these.

Definitely less cushion than the 28. Needs break in time. Not comfortable in the first few walks. The 28 needed no break in time and they were super comfortable. Although I should say tge lace is a good length in the 29 not as long and annoying as the 28.

I love ASICS and I've been a customer for years. These just feel constricting around the toes compared with gel Nimbus. I just couldn't find any gel Nimbus shoes in black right now so I tried these and they're less comfortable than all the other ASICS I've ordered.

Kayano29 is a nice looking shoe but for some reason my socks keep getting sucked into my shoes I have tried different socks but keeps happening

I am always a size 9 in sneakers so that is what I ordered but my toe was hitting the front so I had to return them (they don't allow exchanges) and pay a restocking fee. I ordered a 9 1/2 instead and they feel a little too big. They are also a little wide so I need to wear thick socks. I like them otherwise.

I have been a big fan of Gel-Kayano shoes for years and have many pairs. I usually buy two pair at a time, one for work and one for home. This version is not great and I'm not very happy. My feet are usually killing me after wearing them which is really unfortunate because I really usually love my Asics!

Veey comfortable. However, way too small. I wear an 8.5 had to return shoes & buy size 9 and still a biy too small bit keeping them in hopes of str8out over time

Looks good, not much cushion. Firm shoe. I'll keep it for walking around town

Not as shock absorbing as my older pair. Not as comfortable but the are pretty. I prefer the gel keyano 24
