I had been looking for new exercise w for quite some time and mine hit the mark. The Kayano 29s are really excellent ( the Kayak 28 did not work for me at all). I wear these during MetCon classes where there is some jumping and there is decent padding throughout the sole and toe areas. I've actually ordered two pairs already.

No one's asked me if I can run fast in my new shoes. Being an adult sucks. The shoes are cool though

My daughter is a runner and loves her gel kayano ASICS sneakers. She said they are so comfortable and make such a difference !!!

Extremely comfortable. Good cushion. Had a gel kayano 28 that was uncomfortable and wearing away at 6 months. Replaced with these.

I always love my ASICS, they are comfortable right from the start.

Best stability shoe available. Tried brooks, hoka, Saucony Guide hands down gel kayano wins!!!!

Light and airy as I work on my feet all day. Love these cushioned shoes.

the round laces in previous kayano iterations were MUCH easier and quicker to loosen and untie than the newer flat laces. but excellent shoe and fit as usual.

Bought these shoes for vacation lots of walking involved. I love the kayano line however with the changes made my feet started hurting half way through the day.

You might want to size up on the Gel-Kayano 29 or try them on in person before purchasing. I ordered 8.5 in the beautiful soft pink and they were too tight, plus somewhat short in length (I would have ended up with purple toenails). In addition to the sizing issue, something (possibly the tongue, edge of shoe?) was rubbing against the top of my left foot. The 'toe-off' on the Gel-Kayano 29 is made to propel you forward onto the next step but I found the 'rocker' movement very distracting. I'm a distance walker (half-marathon, 15 miles) and the Kayanos were once perfect for me but there's a huge difference between my old Gel-Kayano 25 and the Gel-Kayano 29, which is now too much shoe for my purposes. However, if you run marathons, definitely try the Gel-Kayano 29 as it certainly seems like an excellent shoe, just not for my distance walking. For that, I have since discovered ASICS GT-2000 11. AWESOME DISTANCE WALKING SHOE!!! Like the Kayano, the GT's are also for over-pronators (flat feet).

Shoes are a little tight. They are comfortable, but hurt after a while. Still thinking of returning them. I have always loved my Asics shoes, but not as happy with this pair.

A little wide, it's second paid in this style and feel a little too wide. Idk I still like them but don't think they are the best. I wish they were more snug.

More room in the toe box. The heel is a little loose, getting sone heel rub. Trying to make adjustments.

The sneaker looks nice, though I'm unable to run in them because of the size of the toe cage with orthotics, they are too tight.

My new kayano's make me feel like I'm walking on cushion and sitting up high.

Since surgery on my broken toe needed the wide one.

Arch support is good. The shoe runs big. I have been wearing ASICS for several years in size 9, but in this shoe, I actually need a smaller size. Unfortunately, I wore it outside for walking and therefore return it. It is too wide and too long.

These shoes are comfortable and good quality. They have a LOT of cushioning though and took some getting used to. They seem higher/more cushion in the heel part of the shoe and it affected my calf muscles because of the high amount of cushioning.

Comfortable but a bit stiff compared to previous ASICS I've owned

Not my favorite Kayano, I have always gotten the support I need with this style of Asics but this time I feel that there is very little support for my pronation.

Shoes are nice, comfortable. Only issue i had was that i don't have wide feet but these were pretty tight for a couple weeks

I have been wearing the Gel-Kayano for over 10 years. I was advised at a running store that this was the best shoe for me because I have collapsing arches when I run. I have tried other shoes over the years, but I always end up coming back to the Gel-Kayano. The 29 offers the arch support I need. It is a light-weight shoe, which makes it comfortable for long distance running. I am a 7M in regular shoes, but I size up to a size 8W in the Gel-Kayano. I have to admit the toe box seems a little shorter than earlier versions, so I could have gone up to a 8.5W. But I have decided to keep these and see how they stretch with more runs.

They were not as wide as I'm used too. They took a while to break in.

The shoe is extremely comfortable and cushiony. My only complaint is the mesh above the toe is not very durable
