After having them for less than two months the tread started to come unglued. Very disappointing since ASICS are the only shoes I wear.

Kayano have been my running shoes for the past 15 years, and recently went from Kayano 27 Tokyos to the Kayano 29 and its a significant change in shoe and sole height where I may have to change now. It seems that the 29's went through a change and feels like Hoka's where I'm not a fan of. I wish they kept they're typical low profile and height.

Not enjoying the sock fit. I miss the tongue support. I've worn Kayano's for a long time and this sneaker feels larger in length than past sneakers. I wish I bought a 9.5 intead of a 10

The GEL-KAYANO 29 is a much stiffer shoe than it's pervious versions. I was not happy with it at all. I had to stop wearing it because it was causing foot pain.

Massive blister on right heel, inside section, the moment I started wearing. Was fitted.

Comfort on wearing the shoes not as per my expectations

These shoes are structured in a manner that leads my foot to over supinate. They are soft and comfortable. However, they also have a bulky restrictive element that I don't favor.

Shoes feel smaller and tighter than my gel-kayano 27 version.

The traction is not good on these shoes, markedly worse than previous versions of the kayano

Upper quality is good but not breathable so not for running in warmer climates. Outer sole is of awful quality and has worn through to the foam in the forefoot area within 2 months of buying. It is simply just a ridiculously soft material. Very disappointing

I exclusively run in the GT 21 series and the Kayano series. The 20 is MISERABLE. There is a hot spot under each ball of my feel that become unbearable after about 5-6 miles. After that, my feet hurt for the rest of the day. I would recommend ASICS, but not the Kayano 29....its torture!

I purchased the Gel-Kayano 29's a few months ago. The fit and finish was great, however after a few months they started to shrinkand they were never washed or had gotten wet! Unfortunately, they are at least a full size smaller than when I first purchased them.

I love the comfort and the padding. Stretch knit top is amazing bc I have an exostosis on the top of my foot so shoes that don't put pressure on it can be hard to find. I have owned several Kayano's and never had a problem however I have gone through two pair of these with the same problem. The rubber on the sole seems to delaminate very easily. The first pair it happened on the second time that I wore them so I took them back and got another pair. These are doing the same thing after about a month of use. I hope they can fix this issue because everything else about the shoe is great for me.

I have used the Kayano in the past and loved the support they provided to help my overpronation. However, these new ones have nowhere near they same support and don't even have the same stabilizer as the old so I can no longer recommend these if you need good support.

Ive been using kayanos for years, this particular model's cloth is not what I have come to expect from Asics. I purchased 3 pairs for me and my daughters and the material from the from of the shoe quickly started to show wear (within a couple of weeks) all 3 pairs look frayed.

Not the shoe I anticipated. The toe upper curvature causes the toe area to be too tight. The heel box has too much cushioning cause heel discomfort.

Ive been a loyal fan of the Gel-Kayanos for years! For some reason, this fit feels different. Too narrow in certain spots. Too wide in others. Actually kind of hurts my feet. I'm hoping they break in eventually or something, but in the meantime I'm also looking into switching shoes.
