I've been wearing Kayano's for about 15 years. I need the stability and love the cushioning. For whatever reason, these are about 1/2 size smaller than the 28's. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I'd already taken them for a run and now I can't return them. This isn't the first time Asics has changed the sizing on the Kayano. Why Asics? DIssapointed.

So My old pair of Kayanos were starting to peel underneath. I got these thinking they would be the same comfort. They are not! I'm so disappointed

The bottom of the sole is already wearing out after about 6 walks. Very very disappointed as the Gel Kayano 28's were the best shoe I ever owned

The new upper seems to making the sizing run small.

It's a completely different shoe in the feel under foot, especially the forefoot which is a lot stiffer than the previous versions of this shoe. After 7 runs in them for an hour or more each time my knees and hips feel more still and sore than ever ever before. Not a good match for me. Some others may like the stiffer ride. For reference I'm 5'10 and 170lbs and I run almost every day, I cannot run everyday in these 29 shoes like it did in the previous versions.

Worst Gel Kayano yet, and I thought the 28 was bad when I needed two replaced under warranty. This shoe ( Gel Kayano 30) is different, I've been buying every release since 2011 and this one caused a lot of pain in the ball of my foot because for some reason they're now U-shaped. Unfortunately after 13 years of comfortable running I'm forced to move on to another brand because ASICS refuses to listen to their customers.

Something is terribly wrong with this model, the cushion sags so deep when you run at a high speed, putting tremendous pressure on your arches. I thought OK, might as well just use it to walk, but then it seems it forces your gesture to tilt when you walk. You get back pain by just walking with it for a day! That must be why they took this 3D cushioning thing away in the newer models!

Tread is coming off already only after three weeks

Same size as other aisic but doesnt fit and hurts feet

They hurt the top of my feet! I walk dailey and one of my feet swelled up after wearing these shioes

on the first day it gave me bilateral feet blisters on mid-back inner sole (surai area)

I have 2 other pairs of Asics shoes the same size (10 extra wide)that fit fine and super comfortable. Despite an honest effort I am in constant pain in just one shoe. I reached out to Asics via phone and warranty claim only to be advised no warranty for fit or feel. 1/6 shoes feels too tight leads me to believe it is a manufacturing defect but now that I see other reviews perhaps I need to size up for this shoe. Disappointing that there is no consistency between models and they wont stand behind product.

I bought this shoe, the second time it was worn the heel bunched down in the back and is unwearable. I tried filling out a warranty form and was denied so literally wasted all my money on this shoe. Don't waste yours!!!

I cannot recommend then because the sole just comes off. I've tried Shoe Goo, but it doesn't hold. I really love the feel of the shoe and how well it performs. But, it is just garbage. I'm really disappointed because asics has been my go to shoe for over 30 years.

Disappointed..comfortable sole but shoe tongue protrudes from inside and makes it very uncomfortable on the roof of the foot.

I've never had a heel blister issue but I do now. Guessing the Gel Kayano 29 heel space is either too narrow or too rigid. Disappointing to be sure. I was hoping I could break the shoe in enough to where I wasn't getting blisters, but no luck. I've been an ASICS wearer for many years and never had an issue like this.

These shoes are not wide. They are the exact same width as standard width Asics running shoes. Do not buy if you are looking for wide fit shoes.

I have worn ASICS for years. This shoe came in a half size different than the usual ones.

The Gel Kayano 29 and 30 run a half size smaller than the previous version.I've been buying these for 17 years and only in the 29 did they change the material and size. I've bought size 10 for 16 years. I did the same thing this year but not one of the 7 pair i bought fit. Tried on a size 10.5 in a shoe store and they did fit. My suggestiontry them on before you buy, even if you are an Asics veteran.

They were too good. Had to return cause they were causing heal plantar fasciitis. Too much vision causes my feet to get it.
