Purchased to use for wet bathing suits as advertised, needless to say put my toddlers wet bathing suit in this bag and placed in the diaper bag. Even after ringing out the suit the water had seeped through the bag and all the items in my diaperbag were damp. It is nice to use as a quick grab bag...I throw my wallet, camera, and sunblock in the bag now before heading to park.

I love Vera Bradley products and I have never been dissappointed before. I planned to use this bag to go to the gym and the beach and the lining ripped the third time I used it! The drawstring is awkward to hold and streched out quickly. I also expected the bag to be the usual quilted material but is was just the thin fabric typically used to line their totebags and pockets. In general it was not up to my expectations for a Vera Bradley product and I would recommend people to buy a regular gym or beach bag if that's what you plan to use it for.

I love this bag for packing cosmetic essentials and using it for wet bathing suits while on vacation. I have purchased it many times over the years for my various travel patterns. I have noticed that my oldest pattern (circa late 90's) is holding up much better than my newer ones. The plastic lining tore in my newest pattern after I had used it only a few times. The plastic seems much thinner. Now, unfortunately, I have to be more conscious of what I put in this bag so I don't tear another one.

Bag is super cute but only had for a few days and the lining on inside already ripped.

I've wanted this item for a while. From the picture online it looked great. I finally took the plunge and purchase it. Surprisingly the quality wasn't that great and I thought it would wear out easy from opening and closing the bag. So I returned it.

I really did like how this was made. However, my issue, though petty, was with the straps. I felt like they should've been flat, nit round like they were. It nade closing the bag a hassle for me. Otherwise, again, I really like how the bag was made.

Cheap product. Small tear at opening of bag. Material thin and not durable.

Wouldn't buy again, way too small for anything this would fit a swimsuit. Won't even fit my kids clothes. This will just take up space at my house. Too small to do anything with

This bag is way too small for my daughters school swimming class. There isn't anything to hold onto. Not enough room. She has lots of Vera bags, will continue to purchase other bags.

I was extremely disappointed with this purchase. After reading the reviews I had high hopes for this bag, yet I used it one time and it was awful. I put a damp bathing suit (had partially dried for several hours already) in the bag and it leaked though the plastic lining. Based on the reviews I expected this to be at least water resistant, however it was not at all. I would not use this again for anything wet/damp and I would not recommend this item to anyone, unless you are not interested at all in the plastic lining feature (which was my main reason for purchasing this).

I took this bag to school as a lunch bag to hold my water bottle and also to hold a few books. I thought it was waterproof because of the way it looked on the inside. My water bottle leaked when it was in my locker and when I went to go get it, water was everywhere! My textbooks were soggy, it was just awful! It's a cute bag, but IT'S NOT WATERPROOF!

I got this bag in Loves Me for Christmas to use as a gym bag. It held all of my stuff, even tennis shoes! The bag was being taken very good care of, then the plastic lining ripped out, and a hole rubbed on the bottom. I love vera bradley, but this was first product that I wish I had never purchased :,(

I love the 'ditty bags' & have them in a variety of colors. Excellent organizer when packing socks or lingerie etc [5 STARS - dry use]. I had never used them to carry anything WET. Wanted to carry several small bottles of water on a recent train trip. Filled a plastic bag with ice cubes.[the ice cubes were placed in a sealed plastic bag which was placed in another sealed plastic bag-double sealed] I placed this in the ditty bag however 5 hours into my trip everything was soaked through in my carry-on!!! I was SHOCKED!! This was a first time use for this ditty bag-nothing appeared torn bUt the melting ice had leaked over everything & the ditty bag was soaked along with the carry-on lining!!! BEWARE!! GOOD IDEA TO TEST DITTY BAG WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF LIQUID TO MAKE SURE YOUR DITTY BAG DOES NOT LEAK!!!
