I got this product in English Rose for Christmas and love it!!!!! But when I went and opened my bag one day, a hole had formed at the bottom of the bag string. But a great product!

I got this bag as a present from my aunt, who started my addiction, for use as a beach bag. I love it, in the summer, when we go to the beach about every other day, it is perfect. I can fit a coverup, beach towel, nook, hand sanitizer, small comb, hairties and bobbypins, and depending if I pack right, sometimes even water shoes. I've had the bag for two summers at the beach (with other uses) and the strings are starting to rip where they cover the rope, and that is the only reason it didn't get five stars, but I can easily sew them so they look as good as new! I want another one just to get a new pattern!

This bag is a little taller than a bottle of wine, and is quite big; I am planning to use it as an extras bag for travel. I was a little surprised that the ends of the drawstring were not sewn finished. The edges were raw. I expected a high level of workmanship from Vera Bradley products. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.

I received this bag as a gift last Christmas (2011). I wasn't sure what I was going to use it for. The plastic lining has come in handy because I have 2 small children. I mainly use this bag to carry my journal and Bible to church. The only draw back I have is the drawstring closure. It makes it a little awkward to carry the bag, ensure it stays closed, and carry either a child or their items. Also, the drawstring becomes long after the bag is closed. I would carry the bag on my shoulder once closed, but I feel as though the knots will come loose from the pressure. So far everything I've put in the bag (pens, pencils, highlighters, etc) hasn't put a hole in the plastic lining. Overall, a good bad for many purposes.

1. I saw this and realized YES! 2. But my second thought was, HOW DO I PICK IT UP? I realize the strings close the top but I am sure they are NOT made as a handle. I think this one needs a sturdy handle, Please! 3. Also, after reading the other reviews, I would love to see something like this with better waterproofing.

I use the ditty bag for several uses during a typical business/leisure trip. The bag is unpadded which makes it easy to fold/roll up for storage if I want to pack it as an extra just in case bag. Typically I use it as my airplane essentials bag which I keep in my carry-on but can then remove and place in the seat pocket in front of me so that I don't have to continuously bend down or stand up to reach my bag. Especially helpful if you are sitting near the window. I keep my kindle, notepad, pen, snacks, headphones, and phone in it ... so that when Im rushing to leave the plane Im not forgetting anything (ex: left a ipod nano once) since items seem to fall down & hide into the seat pocket. When I get off the place i just slip this bag/contents into my carry-on and go. In hotels I use the ditty bag as my laundry hamper until I repack to leave and can use it as a bag for wet items (bathing suits, wet clairsonic mia/toothbrush, ect) that need packed w/o time to dry first. I've also used it as a lunch sack a couple times for work. This is one very versatile bag!

I bought this on a whim, mostly just cause I wanted it. I bought it to match my Weekender bag in Safari Sunset. It has a **plastic lining** on the inside that makes it safe to carry mostly anything you wanted. The saleswoman who sold it to me said most people use it for the beach (wet towels/bathing suits). I used mine to separate clean/dirty clothes in my bag on my trip! I am for sure an over-packer and it is essential that I keep my dirty clothes separate from my clean ones because I HATE washing things that don't need to be washed (wasteful much?). It fit 4 shirts, a few pairs of underwear, a sports bra, a pair of pants, and my pajama bottoms just fine. The **drawstring** closure was awesome, and helped give ample room. Super cute; I hung it from the drawstring in the closet and just kept throwing my clothes into it as needed and when it was time to pack again, I just packed it into my bag as is! I plan on using it for the gym (when I get the motivation to actually go again!) and whatever else I think I can.

Its really cute, it will be good to carry on different little things, but its not a laundry bag. Can be use as toilettrie bag, carry on children electronics, or a wet bathing suit and towel.

This ditty bag is GREAT for amusement parks! I just take this along with my camera in it and my wallet and it's light and easy to carry around! And it's small so it doesn't get in the way and you can hide it so no one steals it!

Our Ditty Bag is used all the time! I have used it to carry as a purse, tote, shopping bag and even a great way to separate items in my luggage. I have filled with with cables and headphones and a portable DVD player. I have used it for to carry H2O bottles, paperback books, flip flops and sunscreen ready for a quick trip to the lake. I have it filled with treats for my kids right now and plan to take it to the pool. Deflated beach balls (3), fruit chews, Tootsie Rolls, juice pouches and cheese and cracker snack packs are all we'll need this afternoon.

This bag was great I could use it for my wet towel and suit when I went to the beach, and then used it to pack my lunch for work. Lots of room and the string to close it was awesome cuz I could just hang it on my shoulder. Great product!

I got the Ditty Bag for the sole purpose of packing up wet swimsuits while on the go. While it is better than putting wet suits into an old plastic grocery bag, it is definitely NOT waterproof. If your Ditty Bag has wet clothes in it, you WON'T want to pack it into another bag with clean, dry clothes. Definitely keep it separate because after a while, the outside of the Ditty Bag will get damp. The first time it happened, I was really disappointed. But I just made a mental note to keep it separate from everything else and now I love it! Would love it even more if they could make it waterproof!

THIS IS THE BEST BAG, EVER! WE DO A LOT OF CAMPING, AND THIS BAG CARRIES EVERYTHING I NEED AS FAR AS HYGIENE IS CONCERNED AND THE PLASTIC LINING PROTECTS THE CLOTH ON THE BAG AND KEEPS ANYTHING I MAY HAVE THAT NEEDS TO STAY DRY; DRY. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

I like that it is plastic lined, but it is made cheaply compared to Vera Bradley other products. It was also a lot smaller than you would think it would be

I absolutely love the print. I am disappointed at how small the bag actually is. The picture makes it look bigger, but I definitely didn't read the dimensions. I love the puppies and will be keeping it. They need to make bigger bags in the same print!

Love the crossbody. Like the ditty bag but straps not long enough to wear as backpack.

A little dissappointed in this product due to it's size. I thought it would be bigger and the fabric is a bit thinner than I had hoped.

The strings on this bag are in the style of a backpack. I have a previous version where they just tighten and are much easier to use for storage. Disappointed with this change.
