I bought these in rinsed and vintage colors. Like another reviewer they look like jeans and feel like jeans but it's different. All I know these are comfortable and I can't wait to try them out. They fit true to size and will hopefully not shrink much after a wash. They seem to "move" as you move. Like I said they are not your typical pair of jeans. Good Job,LLBean.

Reaaally hoping my hunt for the perfect jean has come to an end, and I'm thinking I may have found it with this pant. Just got in the mail and right off the bat the fit and feel is everything I had hoped for. I have yet to wash and dry, but I'm thinking the shrinkage will be minimal considering the materials. Also, I'm crossing my fingers that LL Bean keeps an eye on the quality control across the board for all the different sizes and colors, as I've run into some jean companies where the sizing is off in a different color! As it stands now, I'll see how they come out of the dryer, and if all goes well, I'll be ordering many more pairs as this already feels like the only pair of jeans I will want to wear.

Put them on...They don't feel like jeans...Looks like jeans...Look in the mirror...They are jeans. Good fit. Good style. Great material . I've been buying L.L's for 20+ years. Haven't bought any other brand. These are the best. Pricey, but the best. Gonna be my dress and hiking jeans...

All I can say is beyond the shadow of a doubt these are the best jeans I've ever had!!! Fit is perfect. They will not make you feel as hot. Best of all the stretch they put in is perfection.

I really love these jeans. I tried a pair of 1912 stretch jeans a few months ago but they were way too slim seemingly not standard fit as advertised. I have a trim, athletic build (run and cycle) and I cannot wear slim fitting pants. These jeans allow a little more room in the seat and thigh but are wonderfully flexible. These jeans are plenty long. I say this as some of LLBean's pants fit like high water pants on me. I will say they are a little on the warm side (though I have been wearing these on cool summer nights), but all around a great jean. I am looking forward to using these for traveling (airplane travel) and urban trekking. Impressed with how versatile and comfortable they are.

These jeans were just a hair long so I am returning for a 33x30. They feel/look amazing and appear to be great quality.

They are a good fit for my husband. I just wish these came in a 33 inch length.

I love stretch jeans, but these may be too stretchy. I find after each wear I need to wash them to get them close to the original fit, but even then they are much larger than when I bought them. I do love the black wash and the color holds up well, the weight of these is perfect for all seasons, very soft and comfortable and fit true to size. I like the lower rise of these and the slight taper, fit great when I first bought them. Just the waist and thighs stretch very easily and I have to keep pulling them up (have not lost any weight).

Waist sizes run larger than indicated, 32" is closer to 34".

Fit was right. Pockets great. Overall well made. Liked unusual color (brownish). No obvious signage on shelves indicating flex/stretch fabric very stretchy & hate it.

Pretty tight but otherwise fine. Seem a little tight but a belt would help.

Exactly what we were looking for, fabric, style and fit are all great. We especially appreciate the availability of a 28 inch inseam. Only down side is trying to figure out the sizing explanations. Previous order was a different fit range, no longer offered under that explanation. These seem the same, but are listed under a new fit description. Some of us like the same old thing that works, not an expedition of trial and error.

Fit as advertised. Very comfortable, but in severe need of extra belt loops, especially in front. Belt rides up on those who might be a bit more portly in the lower belly as there aren't any belt loops close to zipper. L

I have purchased several of these jeans, once I discovered them about five years ago. The only issue I have had is that, over time with repeated washings, they have shrunk to the point where they become much tighter. I do not dry with high heat - I actually leave them damp and hang them to air dry the rest of the way. This does not happen until after the one-year return period is over, so be aware. They will still look good, but not fit well.

Only jeans I've ever wornthese fit a little tighter in back than the Classic fit but still feel good.

These jeans are comfortable, stylish, and versatile. They are also easy to maintain.

Pros - Very comfortable in movement. Love that these sit below the waist rather than at the waist. One of the only styles here that does that. Used to only buy jeans at the "other" company that starts with the letter "L", great satisfaction with them until they discontinued all models that sit below the waist. Too bad because they also allowed choosing inseam down to the quarter of an inch during ordering. Really like the flex aspect of these jeans for comfort. Cons - This style seems fairly thin for jeans. We will see how they wear, but they seem more for casually going out for errands than for going to work (or working in the yard) and needing substantive jeans. Time will tell. I do like them, but am left wanting for other jeans for other situations.

Great fitting, comfortable pants. one suggestion, the zipper needs be a 1/2 inch longer.

Nice and flexible medium weight jeans with multiple color, waist & length options. Mine with regular use & variable conditions were prone to knees wearing out (converted to shorts, no issues in crotch). Will definitely buy again.

Like the fabric, color and style. Would have preferred the regular standard fit vs. standard athletic, but these were on a good sale.
