The fabric is very forgiving - a couple pounds one way or the other won't make a difference. It's also much warmer than 100% cotton on cold Midwestern walks. For those of us who no longer have our butts, the standard fit is great! Don't order 'relaxed".

They are great - good looking, great fit and comfortable.

As I age and shrink, my stomach goes outward. The flex in the waist really helps. This is a quality denim, and Bean cuts them to my inseam length. These are the only jeans that I buy.

LL knocked it out of the park with these jeans. I love the standard fit, color is perfect and they have just the right amount of stretch. Just ordered a second pair.

These are my go-to jeans for going out. They are dressier than my work jeans, yet provide comfort and a great fit.

I've never been a fan of jeans. I could never find a pair that felt truly comfortable until I found these. They really do flex without being skinny jeans. I own 3 pairs currently and they're my favorite bottoms to wear. They flex when you're sitting so there's a less chance of tearing the groin area when bending. The only problem I had was that the faded color is constantly on backorder because of it's popularity. I ordered a pair and was not notified when the backorder was extended because of limited supply. It would have been a perfect transaction otherwise. Also, wash the jeans separately for the first two washes because it will dye your clothes in the washer. Overall this is my favorite pair of jeans and you should definitely try them.

My husband needed new jeans but hates shopping for them. He doesn't wear them often as he says they are uncomfortable, preferring dress pants even on "jeans days" at work. The "bean flex" in these jeans makes them very comfortable and he loves them so much I bought him a second pair.

This is now my new standard in jeans. Perfect cut, weight, stretch, quality... The bar has been raised high!

These are the most comfortable pants I own. I love jeans, but my leg bind up in most jeans, and I end up grunting every time I squad down or bend to pick something up. No with these: they flex and give in the best ways. Highly impressed.

Bought these jeans for my husband for Christmas, and he absolutely loves them!!! He said the material is so soft and comfortable he could wear them all day and all night. He's even fallen asleep in them and napped! Highly recommend these jeans!!!!!

These pants are amazing, the waist though seems to have been stretched a little bit, not much, I still gonna give it 5 stars, they look really handsome, and they feel very comfortable.

All I wear is bluejeans and many I've purchased over the years, well they just are so baggie and look horrible, because of my build. I decided to try the BeanFlex and they were awesome, like they were made just for me. These will be the only jeans I purchase from now.

The beanflex jeans fit perfect and are very comfortable. I will be ordering another soon. The length is perfect and LL Bean is the only place I know that I can order inseam length. I recommend these jeans for anyone.

These are nice looking jeans and are probably the most comfortable I own. Compared to the Cliffside Cordura Jeans, which I also own, these are maybe just a little bit less nice looking, but are so comfortable that I prefer them overall.

First ever stretch jeans -- I travel a lot and these are amazing for all day and night. Also really like the feel of the material (hand)

So pleased with the look and fit of these new flex jeans. Tried other Bean stretch versions and they looked 'different' than 100% cotton jeans. Prior versions fit like skinny jeans - not for me! These, however, look authentic, move with the wearer, feel great, and wash well (following 5-8 uses). Definitely worth a try!

Love the fit, color, look and washed great. I wonder if there will be a flannel or fleece lined version?

I bought these for my husband. He has trouble finding 33" waist that fit well, are flexible and sharp looking. These work perfect. I have just ordered 2 more pair for him.

Finally, a pair of jeans that are easy to move around in. I am usually a 38 waist but with the little bit of stretch, 36's fit perfectly. In my office, standard work wear can be anything from dress shirts and dress pants to jeans and a polo. These jeans can be dressed up or down and look great. I can sit at my desk all day and be as comfortable in these jeans as I am in a pair of dress pants. No stiff denim to bunch or cut into me. My only complaint is there are only 3 colors to choose from.
