PLEASE NOTE I HAD ALREADY GONE ON LINE AND SUBMITTED A REVIEW PRIOR TO RECEIVING THIS EMAIL REQUEST , HOWEVER I AM SENDING THIS AGAIN IN HOPES SOMEONE IN THE COMPANY WILL READ THIS. I actually really loved these pants when I first purchased them. Then I washed them, by themselves for the first wash, as per label instructions for temperature and dryer setting. Upon inspection before wearing them I noticed a brownish stain on the rear pocket below the attached leather LL Bean pad. I immediately wondered what was in my washer, or my pants pockets etc. Well there was nothing, and then I noticed a discoloration to that leather LL Bean pad. I took a clean piece of paper towel and pressed it into the dampened leather patch and found that a brownish color had transferred to the paper towel. I wet the leather a bit more and found color that bled out onto the paper towel even darker. To my dismay I have to assume that the stain on the pants is now permanent.

This is my 2nd pair of these--same size, style etc but fit is completely different. Longer by 1+ inches, and looser in waist and legs. Repeated washing has not helped. Probably should have returned earlier.

Product is so stretchy they should really be referred to as lounge pants instead of jeans. I ordered my usual size, and I could easily pull the waist line 3 or 4 inches away from my body.

I purchased these in the regular size that I get for the 1916 standard fit that are no longer available. The where way too loose so I ended up going to a nearby LLBean store. I tried on the next size and they fit better in the waist but super tight in the thighs. They told me these are the replacement pants. So after many years, I cannot now get the pants that fit me the best. The style of LLBean and quality has been going down hill over the years. It's not the same store...becoming less outdoors style and just another retailer.

I purchased these jeans in color sandbar and returned them. The jeans do not fit as pictured, They are baggy and the legs are way too wide. The fabric is too elastic and stretches like a rubber band. LL Bean needs to offer a Jean in this color in Standard Fit, not flex.

These pants are obviously made for bean stick teenagers. While I have a trim 36" waist and ordered the correct size they fit like an elastic glove. Don't mistake these as being on par with L L Bean traditional jeans. I returned the two pair I ordered.

They stink of formaldehyde. We tried washing them but they came out worse.

I had to order a new pair of jeans as this pair is too long. What HAPPENED TO the jeans THAT had the number 298663 jeans that fit perfectly?

Very disapppointed with LLB. This is my third attempt to get a pair that fits like my last one. One measured 1.5" too short, and now this one is too long. Also the standard fit is not the same. I'll try a slim. Also the return label is missing!

Unfortunately, this pair of jeans had been worn before, by someone else. I am reasonably sure of this. There were distinctive wear creases across the front of the jeans and behind the knees. I didn't notice this very real proof of previous wear until I picked them up at the tailor after having them shortened. (Note: he didn't wear them, I promise). I am a frequent, repeat customer of L.L. Bean and have purchased other BeanFlex products (and many others) and am very satisfied with fit and quality. I believe L.L.Bean has excellent products and customers will rarely have problems of products purchased.

I purchased the same pants last year 35w x 34L and fit perfectly. This year I purchased 2 pairs, same size, and they are at least 1 inch larger in the waist. I washed and dried them hoping they would shrink but was they did not shrink at all. I can't wear them.

We had high hopes for these because we figured since they were LLBean and the for the price they'ed be quality. Out of the three pairs we opened, two of the pairs had one leg that was 3 inches longer than the other leg. They also had a very strong chemical odor, that we've only experienced in really inexpensive jeans.

Ordered a 29" length and they were much longer. Also much baggier in the legs than a comparable same sized jean that I have purchased previously.

I'm sorry to have to break it to you, L.L. Bean, but your customers aren't shopping here because you're soooo trendy (if whiskering can still be considered trendy). How about offering these jeans without whiskering? The only style here that's sold out is the "Rinsed," which doesn't have whiskering...read the room.

Pants are great but what are the lines on the back of the legs. It looks like it was ironed and burnt the pants. I do not want these pants like that. What do I do as I washed before I saw the lines on the back legs?

I always wear Bean 36x34 jeans, but thes 36x34s are too big in the waist. Also they are too baggy. They call them comfort fit, but these are like old farmer baggy britches.

I'm not sure who these pants would fit, bit it's definitely not me. The waist is so stretchy and loose that the pants will barely stay up -- and that's with me ordering almost a size down. If you decide to get these, I recommend ordering at least 1 inch smaller waist than normal, possibly two inches.

Originally I thought these jeans were PERFECT! However, after wearing them twice the fabric on the inside of the pockets has started to degrade. Admittedly I do not wear jeans often so I did not see this issue until several months after the purchase. I would not recommend these jeans as the inside of the pocket feels cheap after very little use. I do not think they will hold up well over time.

Pants are comfortable but because of the excess stretch in the waist I need to keep tightening my belt. Sending them back.

Good looking jeans but if you have muscly or big legs they might be too small for you. Keep that in mind when getting these.

I didn't read the fine print that says "fits below the waist" and boy does it. Ideal if you have high style boxer shorts you want to share with the world, but not ideal if you want jeans you don't have to pull up every few steps to keep them up around your waist. Someone is going to get a great deal on these at Goodwill, where I donated them yesterday.
