Fit me well, not tight not loose. Seem to retain fit throughout day. Some jeans with some stretch loosen up as you wear. These jeans have a nice modern cut but not tight like the signature jeans. FYI, I'm in my late 40's.

I always wore 36 x 29 jeans, always liked the LL Bean fit. I lost some weight and wanted something with a thinner leg. The associate suggested the bean flex, 34x30 they were just what I wanted, good fit, good looking. Bought two pairs and I'll be back for more

This was the first time I'd ordered this particular jean and I have to say (and so does my wife) that it fits perfectly.

My favorite jeans used to be a pair of L.L. Bean Signature jeans with a bit of stretch that I picked up at the outlet store in Freeport several years ago. They were a bit thinner/lighter than normal, but they were comfortable, and my wife said they made my butt look good, so they went to the top of the heap. Fast forward a few years, and the Signatures are looking a bit worn -- not tattered or dingy, mind you, but perhaps a bit less fresh than one might wish. I tried a couple of variants of the Double L jeans, but without that bit of stretch, none seemed quite as comfortable. Then, a few weeks ago, I saw these on the website. Maybe they're new, or maybe they've been around for awhile and I've just been oblivious, but I thought that they might be worthy successors of the Signatures, so I ordered a pair. When they arrived, I took them right out of the package and put them on. How'd they fit? Like. A. Glove. Best fitting pair of jeans I've ever worn, hands down. I still like the Signatures, but they've been relegated to second place. Best of all, my wife says these make my butt look even better.

This is the 2nd pair of stretch jeans that I purchased for my son from L L Bean. He loves them. Not baggy, not tight. They move with you. Wash and dry beautifully in my washing machine. I recommend them if you are looking for a great stretch jean.

the BeanFlex material is especially comfortable around the waist. Excellent value. I am going to get another pair.

I am a long-time Bean jean customer. I think these are the best jeans I've worn: soft cloth, stretchy where you need it. They are a tad pricey, but I think they are worth it. I just ordered two more pairs.

These jeans are spot on for fit. The leg is not too baggy or slim. Very stylish. What's different about these jeans versus the high end designer ones, is that the LL Bean ones are incredibly well made and use good materials. These are not paper thin. Nor are they too thick and stiff. They will last for years. The stretch is amazing. When u sit down it doesn't cinch your stomach. They stretch nicely and it feels like I'm wearing exercise pants. That's how comfy they are. But they look like a million bucks. Dressed with a blazer, you can dress them up or wear a cool T-shirt to be casual. Would love to see more colors. I boughtThe gray ones, and they are pretty dark. These are aces.

My husband has worn the jeans several times and thus far likes them. Comfortable, lightweight and a little bit of stretch.

Husband loves these lighter weight jeans. He doesn't like warm humid weather but these jeans help make it make it easier to tolerate the heat. Says they are real comfortable and that's something coming from him!,

I have any number of L.L. Bean jeans and decided to try one of these pairs. I ordered them in the darker color, and if I had it to do over again I would probably go with the lighter shade---but that's just preference. They are very comfortable and light, and when I bend over---the stretch is awesome! One thing that should be offered in all the L.L.Bean pants is either custom inseam length or just have the 28" inseam available as they do in their standard classic fit jeans. I have not had them laundered yet, so I don't know how they will wash up, but I expect they will do just fine. They were more expensive that the normal ones I buy, but I think they were worth extra---time will tell how they wear in comparison, but for now I really like them.

My husband said that these jeans are great in the hot weather. And they look wonderful on him the way the jeans are made!

I've tried every brand of jeans you can think of and they always get destroyed Or are uncomfortable at work but these have held up so far so good 16 hour days in the ditch and they're going strong only time will tell

These jeans worked out perfectly, the type of material they are made from only adds to their ability to fit comfortably. I would definitely recommend these jeans as being an extremely good, to all my friends. So good that I am anticipating buying additional pairs of jeans.

As with everything I have from LLB these pants will not disappoint. They fit perfect and I expect them to get better with age, an LLB hallmark.

I don't like stretch jeans. But I love these. True to size, comfortable, lighter yet softer than denim. Will be ordering more. And I would loveLoveLOVE to have the opportunity to buy them in black (or the tried and true 1912 jeans color of dark slate) so that I can wear them to work.

My husband wanted slimmer jeans, and these work perfectly. Jean material has a bit of stretch, so they fit and look like the "modern" jeans he wanted. We will buy more in different washes!

I have worn LL Bean jeans for almost 30years. I usually get Double L classic fit, but decided to try Flex jeans Standard fit, because of some weight that I have lost. Very pleased, the only drawback is that they are not available in 35" inseam, so slightly long, but not a problem for me.

I don't often reviews but this is an exception. These are by far the best fitting jeans I have ever purchased. I'm a short, fat, old man who could never find a pair of jeans to fit properly. The legs either looked like balloons or the pants were continually falling down as I walked. Now I no longer walk like a duck. Thanks Llbean!!
