I have two pair of the BeanFlex jeans. Comfortable fit but the front pockets wore out after a year of use. The pockets started to tear and develop holes in both jeans.

I don't think I'll buy 'regular', that is - not stretch, jeans again. The stretch fabric makes them much more comfortable. When I do, and if I buy another pair from LLBean, I'll try a different fit. These ones are a bit tight in the side thigh. Fit is good everywhere else and the quality of construction is good. Typical Bean quality.

i've bought Double L jeans for many years. I tried these to test the flex. It works great for me. Only wish they were offered with 28" inseam as I have very short legs.

My husband was initially excited when he saw these in your catalog. But the colors are not true comparing to the catalog - too dark! But I think he was most disappointed that jeans, although light, are not soft. Sorry - I usually like LL Bean products.

First... I love LL Bean men's jeans I have several pair of these jeans in Standard fit. I wear 32X32 and that's exactly what they measure. When they became available in Classic Fit, I decided to give them a try, I ordered the same 32X32. I tried them on as soon as they arrived and noticed that the waist was perfect but they were a little short in the length. When I measured them with a tape measure, the overall length (top of waist to bottom) was same as the standard fit, but the inseam was almost 1" shorter . I thought it was probably a manufacturing error and exchanged them at the store near my home. It turns out the 2nd, 3rd and finally 4th pair were all 1" shorter in the inseam in the classic fit. The store staff were amazed and totally unaware of this. Bottom line, after measuring many pair of classic fit jeans in the store in 32X32 all were short by 1' inch in the inseam, but higher in the waist as they should be in the classic versus the standard fit. All standard fit stretch jeans measure a true 32X32 but all classic fit stretch jeans measure 32X31. To LL Bean, can you correct this?

I find the zipper[fly]to be too short. I don't believe the description mentions this , the six or eight inches.

I like the fabric, it flexes, is light weight, comfortable in warm weather. I did not appreciate the extra room added to the seat and thighs. If you have a fabric that stretches and you make the cut bigger, who is that supposed to fit? I am conflicted about returning these for one size smaller, I cant figure how that will fit either. The 4 stars is all about making standard fit not standard fit.

I liked what I bought. I would have preferred a lighter color that didn't have the fading "washed" look. Also thought that the material was a little rough. I'll wear these jeans regularly.

4 stars overall. Would have give them 5 stars except for the zipper. It could be another 1 1/2 inch or so longer. I think it is is too short. the Jeans fit good. true to size.

Very comfortable, and lighter than conventional denim. If there one thing I don't like, it would be a tendency to ride up around the knee when sitting, making the pant seem a bit shorter than I would like. Just needs an occasional tug to get then down where they belong. These pants are worth the extra tug, though.

Had to get an inch smaller waist because the elastic waist makes them feel very loose in my normal size. Also found them to be a little baggy in the seat. Otherwise comfortable and light.

Love the comfort and performance of this new flex fabric for LLBean jeans! The fit is true to size and as advertised,,,that is, sits slightly below the natural waist, the Standard fit; which is too low for my comfort level, sadly. Hoping for this flex fabric to be offered in a 'Classic' fit to sit at the natural waist in which case I will buy up a bunch. Probably will not buy this style again until it's offered in a Classic fit.

Loves the pants. Only one problem: the fit. My normal waist is 40 on pants with no spandex. Knowing that these were not classic fit (the trimmest cut), I ordered size 38 waist. The 38 was too loose. I will be exchanging for a size 36 ...when they are again available. The fabric blend is soft and very comfortable.

Very comfortable and well styled Jeans. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the front pockets...you can see the stitching of the lining unless you tuck them in.

I was very happy with the jeans when I first got them. They fit great at first then eventually stretched out and didn't retain they're shape until I washed them again. I was disappointed that they were darker than I expected for "faded".

I wouldn't ride a motorcycle with these jeans, but I would use them for chores or travel into town. What makes the appealing is a relatively tough fabric that isn't like wearing a suit of chain-mail. The material is flexible and while seemingly durable a perfectly nice compromise. Definitely a good material for transitional weather but warm and comfortable for colder weather.

The service, as usual, was great, but the fit was too snug, and the fly too short.

I really like the stretch and flexibility these pants allow. I wish they had a cut where they had a higher rise above the hips. They just feel like they are falling down, but they aren't. A higher waist might help.
