This is my favorite Vera Bradley bag and the only one I purchase now. The only thing I would do to change it is to make pockets on both insides. I love the shoulder bag with just one strap, and a place to put my sun glasses on the outside. Until I got a new phone, my previous one fit in the other pocket.

I own several of the older style On the Go bags and just purchased this updated style in English Rose. I seriously love the updates. My favorite part is the inside zipper pocket where I can put personal items (TMI but feminine products) that I would rather not have just anywhere in my purse. My previous solution had been to purchase a coin purse to store those items so it was more discreet. The silver hardware is a very nice touch. I will most definitely be purchasing more of this style in the future. It's the right size for my needs and with so many color options it's perfect.

These are the changes I was hoping for! I have always liked this bag... but now I LOVE this bag! The thinner straps and new silver hardware adds even more elegance to a classic handbag. It's spacious without being bulky. I love that (with the new styling) the border was taken out of the middle of the bag. This way, the you can see the WHOLE pretty pattern! Thanks SO much! It was like you you read my mind!! I'm getting another one in Dogwood today!!

This is my very first Vera Bradley bag and I am so in love! I was wanting something smaller than the purse I had and found this one in the store. Whats so funny is it fits all the same stuff I had in my other bag but winds up being so much lighter!! I love this bag!

This bag is perfect size, not too heavy. I love the thick strap, doesn't cut into my shoulder. Perfect amount of pockets and zippers. I would love to see a purse with a black background, with some sort of white print and just a touch of red (maybe a bird or berries). I love black bags.

This is the PERFECT mid size handbag! It fits all my stuff and is not heavy to carry. The pockets and zippers provide great storage! I will be buying another pattern in this style very soon!!!

I have been waiting so long for a solid color for my favorite the On The Go purse. I bought it yesterday and love it. I like the two zippers and the updated side pockets. Everything fits I can't imagine ever getting tired of this one.

I am SO happy I found this bag!!! I am not a purse changer everyday & like to carry the same bag. I went through Rachel, Julia, Saddle Up and the BackSack before I FINALLY settled on the PERFECT mid size beauty in Canyon. It holds everything I need to carry! AND the extras like my Kindle and bottle of water. The pockets are perfect size and the flat bottom is fantastic for structure with out being rigid. I love this bag so much. My favorite feature is that I can carry like a regular shoulder bag but when hands free is needed...It literally takes 2 secs and I am there. Did I mention that I love it?

I have the On the Go in Suzani (which is my favorite pattern and purse) and I use it almost daily. I love the crossbody strap, all the compartments and the perfect size. But when my clothing is patterned, I have always wished that same purse came in solid black. I was very excited to find that Vera Bradley answered my wish! I stayed up late to order it online the moment it was available on August 30. I haven't received it yet, but I'm giving it 5 stars just to report how grateful I am to be finally getting the On the Go in solid black! Thank you Vera Bradley! I already know I love the style, so, after receiving and using the purse for awhile, I hope I can report back another 5 stars for how well it holds up.

I purchased this the day it came out on August 30th. I love it. I love the black color as it is more business like. Yet, this purse is more feminine than my 13 year old leather Coach purse because of the quilted black-on-black pattern. I love the light-colored inside lining; it helps me find my things easier. All the pockets are really what does it for me. This purse looks classy and yet is very functional. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to use this purse a very long time.

I am rather picky about my purse features, and this one has it all! Adjustable single strap is my first requirement for any purse. Along with that, mid-sized, easy access, convenient pockets and a flat bottom are all a plus. I am so thrilled to finally find my perfect purse!

I used this bag to carry ALL of my school supplies around school. It held a mini stapler kit, two sipper bags, two scissors, a ton of pencil lead, glue sticks, a glasses case, and other miscellaneous items. It's still in great shape and I am going to use it again this year!!!

The On the Go has always been the perfect bag for me. It's a great sized bag with the right amount of pockets in the right places. The three inside pockets were perfect for my phone, iPod, and sunglasses. The two outer pockets worked well for lotion, gum or mints. The zip pocket on the outside rear of the bag works nicely for papers, coupons, or personal items. The only gripe I've had with the On the Go is the shortness of the strap for a crossbody. At 5'3, the 42 strap made the bag come up a little higher than I was comfortable with. Then came the update. Not only did they address the strap issue, bringing the length up to a generous 53 , they also added a zipper pocket inside. I just purchased this bag in Rhythm and Blues and couldn't be more pleased with it. Thank you, Vera Bradley, for taking an already amazing bag and making it even better!

When I first heard that the original On the Go was to be restyled, I panicked. But....much to my surprise, they managed to make my perfect handbag even BETTER! The extra zipper pocket on the inside is a plus. The redesign of the front of the bag makes it possible to have my bag personalized with an initial. I will be purchasing this bag in the August colors (Provincial and Canyon). Thanks so much !!!

I have had On the Go since it was first out and it is my favorite bag because I organize so well in it. (have MANY colors!) I was not happy to hear the current one was retiring and waited to see what the new one would look like. Received my purse and have been using it and really liking the changes. They kept the things I liked--end pocket for cell phone, outside pocket for keys, same three pockets inside; and added some great features--inside zip pocket, longer,thinner strap to use as crossbody if you want, and overall streamlined the look so it doesn't look and feel as bulky. Thanks Vera, I am happy and relieved!

I have the OLD style On the Go in *Tea Garden* and absolutely love its versatility and I was super sad when I heard it was being retired. I wasn't sad for long because I then heard Vera was simply re doing it and she did it right for sure! I love the new up to date pockets on the side which will work with a larger phone with a case on (I have the iPhone with the Vera Bradley phone case on it). I love that they added a zipper to the inside and made the pockets a bit bigger as well. Glad to see they kept the outside zip pocket as well, for that is so nice when dealing with coupons or whatever else you need to get to quick w/o having to dig in your purse! I bought the NEW version in my new favorite *Limes Up* and it looks awesome in this style. I've already received many compliments on it. And last but NOT least, thank you so much for making the strap LONGER for the cross body version of it, the other one I can't make crossbody so it stays as just a shoulder bag. Great improvements! I will be purchasing this bag again for sure! :o)

I love how this has been remade! I love the fact that this has an inside zipper along with an outside zipper as well! It is VERY functional. I love vera bags and all of the pockets, however, I like the inside zipper pocket for my nail file, chapstick, etc.... All the little things that get lost in your bag. With the zipper pocket, they don't get lost AND easy to find. For back & neck pain, I'm forced to try and carry a smaller bag. This is awful hard to accomplish when you have to have 10 bags inside your bag to carry things (Not to mention trying to remember what you've put in each of them). I've always wanted to order this bag but didn't because of the lack of zipper pockets. Now I have exactly what I want and will order more! WAY TO GO VERA!!!!

Beautiful colors and print. My 3rd purchase of this style. Some noticeable changes, the strap is less flexible. The Vera Bradley logo is no where to be found however.

Disappointed in the workmanship inside. The lining was sewn in very sloppy. The style is great though. I bought one in another pattern as well and love it! Perfect for my needs. I will be exchanging this one though. Bring inside quilted pockets back please!

Match my vest that I had bought. Happy I thought it was bigger than what it is but that's okay.

Color not what I expected. It says Gray but it is light blue with light blue zippers. I like the style
