I was so pleased with my new purse. On the Go is just the right size for me. I don't like anything really large as I tend to over load and it becomes too heavy. As always the compartments provide the right spots for phone, pens, note pad, etc. so they are very accessible. I loved the Morgan but this is a nice replacement.

I have several Vera Bradley items and this by far has been one of my favorites.

It is a perfect match for my style and size. Love Vera Bradley!

all the ladies in my family got a vera bradley for christmas.be cause thy are sewn good thy wash good and you can used them for many things but most of all thy are so beautiful..the colors are so brite.thy go with about any thing you wear.thank vera bradley.you made my christmas shopping easy this year......

This purse is great for holding everything I carry. The outside pockets are great for holding sunglasses and IPhone. The inside pockets hold misc. items like lipstick, pencils, nail file, lip balm, etc. It has room inside for all the other things, even an umbrella. The outside zipper pocket holds my cash and change. I don't need carry an extra wallet. I love it!

This bag is wonderful in so many ways. The size, compartment configuration, adjustable strap, gorgeous patterns and colors. So versatile and easy to use. I can carry everything I need without lugging around a big heavy bag, and look stylish doing it.

I just got my new On the Go purse, and I didn't know Vera had redone the bag. I am SUPER excited that the middle interior pocket is wider, and there is an extra zipper pocket on the inside! YAY more pockets!! The outer pockets are a little bit shorter but they still hold my IPhone securely. My favorite part about this purse is the top zipper closure, because every woman hates to have her purse dump out in the car, and the long or short handle. I really like the versatility of across the body or over the shoulder.

I have about 6 of these! I do prefer the tortoise shell hardware to the new silver, but it's still a great everyday bag. Why is it no longer available in basic black?

What happened to this style?!? This is my favorite style of all time!! I wanted to get some of the new colors, but since you stopped making the on the go, there are no longer any styles I like. PLEASE bring back the on the go!!!!

i have had several On The Go bags. This new one is perfect in every way. The shoulder strap is stiffer but it in NO WAY bothers me. And it does not need the bottom piece of cardboard .... because the fabric is so much stronger. I can easily fit my 5S iPhone in the side pocket (and I have an Otterbox on it). PLEASE MAKE THIS BAG IN THE RAISIN AND COBALT BLUE COLORS!!!

Love this bag! my favorite of all, but, I would love to see a slide pocket on the back of bag and quilted handles verses the straps which I find cumbersome at times. They do get tangled up, and quilted ones would be more comfortable on the shoulders. I love the organization.

I love love love this handbag. I started out with the Tablet Hipster in Midnight Blues and have branched out from there and the On the Go style is by far my favorite of all. I have it in the Plum Crazy and have just ordered it in the Jazzy Bloom. Why isn't it available in the new Moon Blooms??? Please do not retire this style, Very Bradley, please!!! It holds everything I need - the mirrored cosmetic case, the all in one crossbody, and the little tech case for incidentals. I love it this purse.

I purchased this bag in Canterberry Magenta about 8 months ago. I really wanted the plain black one, but when I tried my iPhone in the side pockets, it didn't fit! So I tried the Canterberry Magenta, & believe it or not, the side pockets were bigger!! I was disappointed because I wanted the plain color, but I did purchase the print, & have not regretted it. I love this purse, perfect size, weight, holds just the right amount of things for travelling. My favorite thing about this crossbody is the 2 outside pockets on each end; one for my reading glasses, and the other for my iPhone.

This is my favorite Vera bag. I don't understand why it gets bad reviews. I have 2 of this style and love both of them.

I've been using my On The Go bag (in Blue Bayou) for several months now, and it is about perfect for me! Not too big - and depending on what you carry - not too heavy. Strong and adjustable double-strap for carrying on my shoulder. LOVE the outside pockets, but other posters are correct: the side pockets could be a bit larger. The problem is they are more narrow at the top opening than at the bottom, so little things 'sink' and are difficult to retrieve. I can't get my fingers deep in there while wearing the bag, so I have to take it off my shoulder to 'fish' - makes those 2 end pockets less handy. (I measured: 2.5 at top opening, 3.5 across the bottom) I use one side pocket Only for my lip balm and car's valet key. The other one only has a tissue and cough drop. Other items (big keys) fit in the larger outside pocket. I would like to have the one inside zip pocket be divided (2 pouches - and not zip) instead of one, but having the 3 pouches on the other side is very helpful to keep small items organized. Overall, Vera's best design!

So many pockets for my this and that. I can fit my phone in a pocket inside or out and have a place for my sun glasses too. I can carry it over by shoulder or over my body. Lots of colours and patterns get compliments on every one i use. You have to try this bag for yourself. You will fall in love with this bag. Please don't ever stop making this bag, you'll break my heart.

I have several Vera Bradley pieces, but only one of each - except this handbag! It is far and away the most beautiful, usable, lightweight handbag I've ever used. I carry it both cross-body and on shoulder, The outside pockets are just the right size: favorite lipsticks in one, cell phone in the other. The interior carries everything I NEED. And it washes like a dream - always remembering to remove the hard bottom before washing: experience talking here!

When I first got On The Go I thought I made a big mistake. Now 3 bags later no mistake. I realized I didn't need to carry a huge bag. Fits my turn lock wallet, my cosmetic bag, glass case. Outside pockets fit my keys and iPhone. What more do you really need to carry. I have a few other things in the inside zipper pockets. Much happier carrying a smaller, lighter bag. Fits on your shoulder nicely and if you don't wear it on your shoulder the straps aren't that long that you can still carry it on your arm. Could the outside pockets be bigger? Maybe but I don't think they need to be. Only room for more junk. That's whats so great about this bag. I keep it junk free. Just the necessaries.

Went into store yesterday, looking for a bigger bag, than my Little Mandy. Looked around the store, and spoke to a couple of customers trying to find what would work for me. Well, one customer showed me her On the Go bag, and I just fell in love with it. Just the right size for me, not too big and at the same time not too small! Perfect with two nice zippers and two nice pockets!!! My new bag, had to go back to store and buy a second one today!!! LOL.(p.s., all the store help on line and in the store are great, and so are the customers, who will share their likes and dislikes, so helpful to me, I was just converted to Vera Bradley by another dear friend in the last three months.)

This bag holds all my basics and is very comfortable to wear. The strap is a little wider than some other bags which just feels better across my body and on my shoulder. The bag is wide enough to hold plenty but still slim enough to not seem bulky against your body. I would definitely recommend this bag for anyone thinking about a crossbody bag. I have it in Provencal. Love!!

This is a bag that I have been passing by but never picked up until now! I didn't realize before how much this purse held or even how much I would like it until I picked up the city shoulder, which is a similar to this one. It holds my wallet, keys, lipgloss, chap stick, notepad, pen, compact, pill case, and a couple of other smaller things. As a shopper, it is also nice to be able to have side pockets to slip a phone in. I would highly recommend this bag if you are looking for a bag that isn't too small like the crosstown crossbody, and something that is really big like the carryall!

Its blowing my mind that people dont like this bag. I never used the old one so i dont have that to compare it to. however, i love this bag. it fits A LOT! i use this to carry my turn lock wallet, i have a coin purse, my large sunglasses case and my ipad 3 with a slim cover on it. the outside pocket on the side fits my iphone 5 perfectly with a slim casemate case on it. the outside zip pocket is great for easy access to things like coupons and such. there are three small pockets inside but no zipper. overall i love this bag and im very happy with the purchase. ps the strap doesnt bother me but it is stiff!

I got this purse in Sun Valley, I love it. This is the perfect size for everyday. Fits and organizes everything I need. Phone, keys, my Kindle, small journal, cosmetics and brush with room left. Love the strap length and even with all my stuff it's not heavy or bulky.

I now only buy this bag. Believe it or not I can put my canon rebel and a lens safely tucked in the bag with my passport and important items and off I go. It has been all over Ireland with me and the US. Its versatility is amazing!! Not too big not too small. Perfect crossbody and the straps are very comfortable !

I have 7 On the Go purses in different colors. I absolutely love the style and size. The end pockets are perfect for my iphone, sunglasses or keys. There are pockets on the inside and outside. The outside pocket has a zipper, which makes it more secure. I love the way the top of the purse zips closed. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and adjustable. It could be used as a cross body strap. Every time I fall in love with a new Vera color, I always get the On the Go purse, along with the matching wallet and checkbook cover.
