Shorts are thick and soft material. Very comfortable. Longer in the leg. Very well made.

The fabric quality is not as good as previous ones

The extra little pocket (change) inside the right front pocket is useless.

I returned my 1st pair size 34, just too big. The replacement are better but still larger than my other size 34's.

A gift to husband. He likes the six inch ones he previously ordered better but these fill the bill for summer wear!

Well made shorts. The color is as expected. Price is a bit on the high side but I anticipate a lot of wearability because they are Bean quality.

Size 34 was much too big. They actually fell off my hips. I returned weeks ago and have not yet received a refund or any response.

Well made and true to the color I expected. However, this item was on backorder for a few months before they arrived. So I won't be wearing them until Spring. As an old guy I'm generally satisfied with the 'baggy fit, they are traditional more than stylish.

These shorts are well made and wash well. But they are more informal than the dressier pairs of wrinkle-free Chino shorts I had sought in vain to see me through our California autumnal heat wave and still appear acceptable at church and social dinners. Sometimes one's attire must compromise.

Good shorts; the best shorts I've purchased from LLB. They fit a bit tight across the front, but I suppose that's the "standard fit.' No review as yet regarding the durability of the shorts.

These were what I needed, although a second choice to a pair that had a long delivery time (backordered?). I'd have preferred the stretch feature to be built into the waist band, rather than just have a stretchy fabric.

These are superior short pants. I bought several pairs recently and really like them; fabric is a good weight, fit is spot on, colors are great, and launder nicely. Why did they lose one star - where's the flex at? I really expected there to be a little give in the waistband. I wasn't looking for an expanding waist or anything, just a touch of give when sitting. Maybe there's some stretch in the seat and legs, but it's not really noticeable. Still highly recommended.

I don't know why this happens but I order two pair of different colors same size and one is at least a inch larger in the waist.

My husband has a couple pairs of these shorts. He likes wearing them. They are comfortable and fit well. I looked at ordering another pair but you new colors are awful and won't order any. Why does LL Bean change a good thing?

Comfortable shorts. I purchased several a couple years ago and they have held up well. Great shorts for the Arizona summer. Bought the new light blue color recently but they seem to be cut a little larger. Still keeping them.

Nice shorts, ordered a size up to 38 because it's a losing cause not to.

These shorts are good for most activities without being very noticeable at it. The fabric shows a little wrinkling out of the dryer but not so much they need ironing. The lenght is uncontroversial and the fit is just a little tight for the new sizing standards.
