I bought one pair a couple of months ago and got three more about two weeks ago. I like the small amount of stretch in the material and the way they fit and feel. So far my only complaint is the coin pocket inside the right front pocket. I don't like coin pockets, especially on casual pants.

I recently purchased this pair of shorts. I work outside of the US, typically in hot, humid climates. These shorts were very comfortable from the moment I put them on. The material, fit and style is outstanding! They look great as well! I recommend them to everyone who is looking for a comfortable pair of casual shorts for a good price! Thank you!

These shorts were just what I needed for a vacation in humid Ohio. They fit well, were true to size and the stretch made them my favorite go to pair. They wash and wear quite nice.

The Lakewash shorts have been my fave for years. These have a bit of stretch in them but still have the nice beefy cotton feel. What I like about the Navy that I ordered is that it looks broken in. Other navy shorts have screamed navy and took years to come to a nice fade. Good work LLBean!!

These are classic khaki shorts, which my husband lives in during the summer. He likes the fit and they look very nice on him.

Shorts are of good construction. Fit is true. They look good. Material is soft and comfortable. Great price:quality ratio. A great value.

Nice fit, soft yet sturdy. Nice color!

Comfortable all around shorts which fit as advertised. The but, the two side packets are not equal distant from the fly; with the left front pocket far forward on the thigh and the left front pocket on the side of the leg. A little awkward.

Good quality, good fit, good price. Wish there was a pocket to accommodate my iPhone.

Shorts are a bit too baggy and loose in the legs for a normal physique.

Purchased two for my 5'7" / 145 lb husband who likes just above the knee inseams and he has other shorts in 9" that work well for that. While the 33" waist fit just right in these and he carries weight in his middle, the shorts were just a tad long, hitting him mid knee. Even at that he was inclined to keep them except that they were so roomy in the hips and thighs that they didn't work for his body. No flaw of the shorts, that is their design style. The chino shorts in 8" inseam fit him much better for being a trimmer in thigh nd leg style. Appreciate the free shipping both ways for LLB card holders that lets us 'shop' to find his size.

These shorts were replacing an Allagash non-cargo version that LL Bean no longer carries. The Allagash shorts finally fell apart and the button resewn one too many times after 11 years. So I bought a size 34, but the waist was really tight. Thinking the LL Bean shorts line were consistent across the board, I measured my old pair, also labeled "34" were actually measuring at 36. I measured these new Lakewash shorts and they are the same size as the waist label states. So keep that in mind before ordering. So I subtracted one star for inconsistent sizing, for the inconvenience. Other than that, really nice material. Very soft. Feel worn in without looking worn out. Nice rich colors (order 3) that match the website images. Somewhat more tapered leg than the Allagash, which I like. Some shorts leg openings are so wide that they make my legs look like sticks. Hopefully the fly button will last longer than the Allagash shorts. I had 3 pairs and all three fly buttons would come unsewn every other year. I reordered in the larger size.

I like these shorts, but wished they had a comfort band around the waist for more comfort.

We actually returned them. They were too baggy on my husband. If you need a little extra room they'd be perfect. Great shorts otherwise.

A better than average pair of Khaki shorts. Its almost impossible to find Khakis made with the original weight and thickness, so these have to do.

Love these shorts and have them in several colors. I do wish they did not wrinkle the instant I sit down and stay wrinkled until they get washed again.

My husband loves these. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
