I wanted a pair of shorts that weren't informal cargo shorts and didn't look old and dated - like the Bermuda shorts look on an older person. These shorts look and feel modern and up-to-date with nice color selections, too.

These shorts fit and feel great! I have never bought a pair of pants or shorts with a stretch fit but the stretch features are a bonus. The lined waistband are a plus. Overall a great deal for the price, I am glad I bought two pairs.

Very nice and fit great

Great shorts! Very well made. My waist is 35" in dress pants, 34"" in most brands, always 33" at LL Bean. Thanks for making me feel nice and thin! Look forward to years of wear.

These shorts fit perfectly. They are well made and comfortable. They do well in the wash. I will definitely buy other colors.

I bought two pairs of these shorts last summer, and another a month ago.I could not find them in a catalog,mainly because I couldn't remember what they were Called The individual who was helping me was able find my past order and order theyhe new ones for me .

Ordered these for my grandson. He really wanted shorts without cargo pockets, and I was surprised that Bean's selection was so limited for shorts without cargo pockets. He seems to really like these.

I now have 4 pair of these and they are my favorite. The stretch in the waistband is great.

Already have two pair, so my wife ordered me another as a gift. I like the fit and deep pockets. I'm a true 35" waist so the fit is perfect, leg openings just right.

Love the lake washed line of products! The material is soft and broken in from the start. The fit is perfect. Just enough stretch, not too much, like other shorts I've tried. I use one inch larger in the waist for the long pants, as usually they are worn with shirt tucked in.

This is my 3rd purchase of these shorts. They are comfortable, fit well, and the material is nice. My 1st pair was the original version of these shorts, it had 2 buttons at the waist, the new version doesn't , FYI. The stretch fabric is good. would recommend.

These shorts are very comfortable and nicer looking than my hiking shorts. I can wear for golf or even dinner at a casual restaurant.
