I have been buying these, or very similar, from LL Bean for over 50 years. They last and last. My favorites.

Nice fit looks like the picture in catalog would buy these again

Perfect shorts for chores about the yard, running errands, or playing 18 holes. Well constructed, true to size, and easy to machine wash. Right front pocket has small interior pocket perfect for most car key fobs.

I like the laid back look of these Lake-washed shorts and the long length. I have LL Bean Chino shorts and they seem too formal. These shorts are called stretch Shorts but they are not. I have LL Bean stretch jeans and they do stretch great. I am an "in between" size. With the jeans I can order a 38. I ordered these in a 38 and they just fit- not a problem since my weight is down in the summer and I wear a t-shirt untucked. My only other wish is that there were more colors and that they were still in stock. I wanted to order some more of these after trying them out for Labor Day- but they were out of my size.

I've worn them a few times. The appearance is good and they are comfortable.

So most of my shorts are nylon and are size 34. A little too wide but there are not 33 inch nylon shorts out there. So LLbean has 33" and I ordered two pairs of Lakewash and one poplin. The Lakewash was too tight, so they are. going back and and I re-ordered three Lakewash in 34s. Later I tried on the poplin 33 out of curiosity and it was just the fit I wanted! So I ordered two more poplin shorts in 33". THEN I sat down and the poplin 33 was too tight. So now I have two orders of shorts that I will be returning. BTW the Lakewash 34s that I am keeping will be just fine after they shrink a little bit (they are cotton after all). I hope you all enjoyed this Boomers story. So sad.

These shorts are very comfortable and well structured

Prefer a longer shortthese are 9"" .would take a 10"

I liked these shorts so much that I have now purchased 4 pairs of various colors. They are nice as casual or even a little dressy, when ironed.

The shorts are great for traveling. Very comfortable and doesn't have to much stretch. You can dress up or down.

Bought a pair last year and needed more shorts so I bought another pair this year. I like the fit and the quality. Should have bought 2 new pairs this year

I wear these shorts whenever I have the opportunity. They are lightweight and fit well. They are mostly cotton with a little stretch. I would prefer all cotton because the waist can slip, even with a belt. They wash up quite well and seem to look nice.

I love the shorts; you should bring back wool and cotton blend V-neck sweaters...PLEASE!
