The pants are exactly what I wanted. The negative point is: the front pockets' opening is very tight. My hands are not overly large

Love the material. And the pockets, especially the wallet pocket. I find the xxl too baggy in the legs and the xl too tight around buttocks. I went with the xxl just wish the legs were a bit more tapered.

Legs were too long. I wear 30" and ordered such. These drag on the ground under the heel of my shoes

Despite ordering the correct length, I find them fitting 2-3 inches longer.

They are very comfortable BUT the fabric picks and snags very easily.

I like the fit but was expecting the material to be more comfortable, meaning soft.

Whoever creates the specifications for the manufacturers is not qualified, maybe even less than that. It would have been surprising for Bean's years ago. Now it's routine - Bean's no longer stands apart, maybe not even even.

The waistband does not have sufficient elastic strength to keep the pants up, and the draw string does compensate for it. Also the pants could be improved with a fly front, even if it just had a Velcro closer.

Elastic waist band is not strong enough to keep pants from sliding down. Have to tighten draw string tight enough to work but that causes to bind.

The leg lengths were off almost an inch. I brought my tape measure to the store to show them. One pair was okay but several of the others were not. Excellent service by all employees.

Nice pants, but put cell phone in pocket & pants slide down quickly.
Good fit, right size..but anemic waist / string, lowers pants faster than an otter on vacation, if one adds an old smart phone (8 oz.) to right or left pocket.
Embarassing & returning both pairs.

Material is fine and comfortable, but does stretch out rather quickly. The sizing is absolutely terrible ,I wear a size 32-33 waist and the Medium is too large and won't stay , the size Small is way too small and tight. The waistband is very weak and offers no support nor help and allows the pants to fall down .
Get the sizing right, correct the rubber waistband LLB and you'll have an excellent product. Otherwise this'll be a throwaway quickly.

My 2nd pair! I love these pants. Being retired I need pants for hiking and casual evenings out, and these are perfect for both. The fit is very comfortable. The aticulated knee and the secure pocket are greatly appreciated features. Perfect pants for many occasion, easy casual with sandals or tennies, or dress casual. I now have the Carbon Navy and Driftwood and will definitely be back for the Graphite soon.

These pants are the right size and appear to be well made. However the fabric is something I've never had before and I'm not sure if I like it. It is a little stretchy, and the pants make a swish sound as you walk, like rustling plastic bags.

I like the shorter sizing on the pants. Nice to have a 28 inch length. However the plastic ankle seam adjusters are hard to work and get caught in the linings.

Had to return 34" and get the 32", which I never wear. Wore them to play tennis and they were great. I'm 6' 2.5", have always worn 34" inseam.

The fabric looks cheap, lacks texture and I don't like how it drapes. Made the mistake of buying gray. Sending them back.

Initially reviewed two weeks ago. Loved them. Now after one wash, I've noticed that one of them already has a tear. Honestly expected more from llbean.

Although will keep the product it was not up to the quality I previously have received from L.L. Bean. Was an imported product with very weak elastic band would be impossible keep up without drawstring which with exercise needs to be tightened regularly.

The pants are quite comfortable, they look nice, and fit well. You can certainly wear these out in public when running errands. You might even be able to wear them to work, if it's a casual environment.
I debated it, but returned mine because I didn't like the feel of the fabric. It also seemed slick - and my laptop tended to slide around when I was wearing them. But I tend to be a bit more sensitive about fabric feel - what bothers me may not bother another person.

Nice Material, Nice Fit, Lots of pockets But even though I have shrunk a little the length was way off. I had to have 3 - 4 inches cut off the bottom. I like them but the inseam measurements need to be double checked
