Terrible quality, just purchased them for lounging pants. Drawstring is terrible, elastic in waist is terrible I hope customer service takes care of this

I bought a pair of these pants about a month ago. I needed some pants to to layer for the cold in the northeast and to throw on whenever. They are a great fit and very comfortable. So comfortable I bought another pair recently. However after a month of light wear the fabric has small holes and is cinching at the knee. This is incredibly disappointing, especially considering the 70 dollar price tag. I am seriously considering returning the recently purchased pants as well. I have an L.L.Bean jacket that my father gave me that he wore in the 90s. The jacket is older than I am but is of higher quality and is in better condition than these new pants. Beware of the new Bean.

Purchased item not realizing it didnt have a working fly. My mistake. They will be returned. Why would I want pants without a fly?

This is the second time I purchased these pants. The first pair fit me perfectly. The second pair did not feel quite right. They felt too big so I measured both the old pants and the new ones and discovered that the new ones were more than I" larger in the waist and the inseam was 1" longer. I don't know which pair were not manufactured to L.L. Bean's otherwise very high quality standards but the inconsistency is not acceptable. I want to order another pair to see if the second pair were improperly manufactured or perhaps had the wrong size label, but I don't know if I want to go through the return process again if they still don't fit properly. I am still deciding.

With these kind of sporty pants, which I otherwise like a lot, you need zippered pockets on both sides! Is inexcusable to dumb down with a zipper only on one side. I would be buying a couple of pairs if they had zippers on both pockets. But with only the single zipper pocket, I need to look some more.

I was planning to gift these to a son who is a trail runner. When I read reviews I realized the fabric,though very comfortable, wasn't suitable for trail running through brush etc.. as it snagged.

Loved these at first. They ripped less than 2 months later just from wearing them around the house. Very poor quality.

It's like sitting in a polyester, clammy wet suit. I am sending them straight to Goodwill and good luck who next person who get stuck with them. Would I buy them again? Not if my life depended on it.

The search continues. Inseam sizes too short.

Very uncomfortable, couldn't tighten waist string enough, pants bagged out in the crotch and seat and hips very quickly. Disappointed.

Disappointed; while I really like the style and fit of these pants they don't hold up! I wore them to grocery shop and just run some errands around town and then I noticed snags. I went back and reread other customer reviews and sure enough I'm not alone with this problem. I plan on returning them.

The fabric was great but the cut/style is the most unattractive look ever! Who wants their man to have baggy, frumpy pants on? Please keep men well fit in their clothes.

Draw strings don't really hold the pants up. Spend most of the day re-tieing the draw strings.

The main reason they were returned and not replaced was the thin material from which they were made. Extremely thin and gave the feeling of nylon. That could be the reason I did not like the way they wore on me. Not worth 20 bucks and they were $69. Bean sells some nice things but these are not one of them.

I was very disappointed at the fit and comfort of these pants. Everything about them was unacceptable

After only one hour of use. Not what I expected from a long time quality supplier. I'll be returning them for full credit, after waiting an additional month for delayed delivery.

The low quality fabric snags very easily and balls up in spots like the knees - it's 50% recycled polyester fyi. Once snagged there is nothing you can do except wear a snag on the front of your pants - for...get this...$70! I emailed customer service about the issue and they said "snagging is a SPECIAL CONDITION not covered for return or exchange" and told me to go to a seamstress - huh!? Ok then LL Bean - will shop elsewhere instead of wasting my money. Other people have left similar reviews - pics attached.

The fit and comfort are great. If I rub against anything the fabric snags very easily and I have to constantly pull the snags to the inside to hide them. Would not recommend for any type of activities other than walking or sitting on smooth surfaces.

The gray color is really not good. we have ta pair in the black and it looks great
