Superior fit. The extra length in the tall version helps it stay tucked in during high action ski outings. Very pleased with the comfort and feel of the wool. The 250 weight lends plenty of warmth making this the perfect base layer for. All my winter activities.

This is a warm base layer or a casual top.that worn underneath a llbean River drivers shirt you can go for a walk at 32 f and stay warm.

Just finished a trip to Colorado to visit family and hike. The Cresta Wool Midweight crew top kept me warm and comfortable while on several trails with widely varying temperatures. I cannot comment on durability at this point, but I can say this item is extremely comfortable and performs well in terms of temperature regulation and remains odor free.

I got these for my boyfriend for Christmas. He works outside and wanted some thermals to wear under his work clothes. These are super soft and lightweight while providing a nice layer of warmth. Love them.

I gave my son this shirt for Christmas and he loved it. It feels so good he said. It fit as expected and also he wore it indoors on a really cold day. The color was very nice.

It does everything I expect a medium weight base layer to do, plus the added benefit of merino wool. I have the synthetic version of L.L. Bean base layers in medium and heavy weight. The Cresta feels softer. In terms of warmth, this medium weight feels warmer than the medium weight synthetic base layer and maybe less so than the heavy weight synthetic version. However, this is significantly better in terms of heat regulation and moisture control. Compared to synthetic versions, which are still good, Cresta gave significantly less sense of overheating when it gets warmer, and less feeling of moisture condensing. I got the merino wool version last after I stocked the synthetic ones due to concern about maintenance, but since these can be machine washed, it looks like it can withstand my normal use well without significant increase in work load. I may work outside, not in the wilderness, and I also do activities like shooting outdoors, etc. From what I have seen so far, I might be mostly using these all winter. I used this in 40~50 degree range along with a Arcteryx Atom (Atom alone would not keep me warm in low 40's), and it kept me warm. Size wise, this works well for me. Many reviewers complained about fit that is too loose, but I wear medium with most clothing and medium fits me well. However, it is not a tight fit. It is somewhat relaxed fit without being baggy for me.

Very satisfied -- the delivered product fulfilled all of my expectations based upon the reviews and descriptions, and even topped it because it's extremely smooth/fluid/soft in terms of both comfort of material and its ability to peel on and off, as well as allow over-layers above it to be removed and put on without catching or binding up.

I was looking for quality wool long johns without breaking the bank, these are perfect. Poly can feel cool to the touch and wool has a cozy, warm feel. Natural fibers are more comfortable for me, and these have zero itch to them. I'm 6'00" 180lbs with a fit build and the Medium fits snugly to my body as a base layer. My only feedback would be to add a touch of stretch to keep them snug all day long.

I bought this for my husband as all his other wool tops were worn. He really like the weight, feel & fit.

Great and warm base layer and great value for the money!

I have a couple pairs and this is an addition to them.The quality and fit is the same. I bought these because of the earlier models and was not disappointed. For me here in Michigan these are as close to perfection as it gets. Their comfort during a long day and beyond cannot be well enough stated. And, they don't seem to carry an oders even with wearing. I cannot say enough good things about them.Put all of this together and add the duability, close to 6vears and counting on the older set and ease of care carefully washed and dried in conventional machines, what else could you possible ask for ?

Fits great, very comfortable and will definitely buy again.

I have like 5 of these shirts. Perfect as long underwear or for working out. Really adjusts well to your body temperature.

Wanted a wool, mid-weight pull-on crew top for wear for several different occasions. So, I took a chance and ordered two of this model in a print and a solid in size L as I am 5'10", 173 lbs with a 34" sleeve. These two exceeded my expectations and were the right fit, the form, and a perfect weight. Now, I can relieve my closet of some other items to make room for these two. Wash on machine gentle, dry on bath sheets to protect your investment.

Its all I want to wear anymore! I normally buy Large shirts but as a baselayer I wanted this to be skin tight. Got Medium and its perfect. Excellent quality, super soft. Doesn't smell after a few days of wear so I have done a lot less wash. Been great for yoga too.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas as he works outside and this keeps him warm. He gave it 5 stars.

I purchased one of these a few days ago. I have eczema and generally sensitive skin, and the merino wool is very comfortable for all-day wear. The fit is true to size, the look is good, and I like the thumb holes for times I want to cover my hands. I'll definitely be buying more of these!

Bought this for my husband to use for outdoor winter sports, and he loves it so much that he now wears it indoors too. I was initially concerned that the wool would be itchy, but the feel of the fabric is so soft and smooth. Plus it's really easy to wash and dries fast - i just lay it flat on a clothes rack. Highly recommend.

These fit great. They are not super warm which is perfect for certain situations.
