An all wool base layer; that is machine washable and very warm. A great addition for your winter gear.

Bought this for my partner. He loves the warmth, and how well made it is. Wash and hang to dry and it keeps it shape and does not shrink.

This is the most comfortable wool base layer that I have had. Smartwool is still a bit itchy when worn against the skin but this material is not.

Exactly what I wanted. A real wool layer to use as sleepwear on cold nights. The fit (large) is perfect for my 180# weight, 33 inch waist and 34 inch sleeve. It can be mildly itchy if you are sensitive about the wool feel--I do add a long sleeve T-shirt underneath it for enhanced comfort. It's warm, lightweight, well made and comfortable.

i'm 60 and work outside some and have to be inside some too. This was a great price and just what I needed. Keeps me warm. combine with LL Bean Lined Kakis and I'm great. I got "tall" to have plenty to tuck in. Can't have it riding up. Already wore it and washed it. Laundered great.

Ordered one of these for a 10 day trip to Europe. I found it to be the perfect base layer for the trip and wished I had bought another. Great fit, and it's super soft and comfortable. If I got to warm, I peeled off a layer or two and wore this alone and I cooled down quickly.

I wear these for hunting base layers. I love merino wool This is some of the finest merino wool I have worn. Seems durable and well-made. I got the tall because I wear these for bow hunting and do a lot of climbing of ladders, and moving of arms/drawing bow, etc. The fit is perfect.

I now have 3 of these. Thank goodness LLBean makes tall sizes. Sleeves and torso are long enough! These are my go to under layer when cold Maine weather hits.

Exactly what I was looking for: A base layer that is thin, warm and comfortable. The sharp, athletic look can be worn by itself, or underneath a zip-up jacket. Really well constructed. Highly recommended.

A high quality baselayer, warm during the coldest of winter and wearable under a light vest when it begins to warm up. The fact that it's available in the fluorescent outdoor alert colors does not hurt either. I may wear out before this piece, it's a keeper

This shirt is awesome! Perfect as a base layer and feels good against the skin! Just be careful when washing and do not put in the dryer!

Merino wool, you can wear for a couple of days if you're in a pinch as it's very odor resistant. Fit is snug (not tight), love the thumbhole cuffs. Machine washable ( I use a gentle cycle and gentle detergent). I hang dry mine (like over a chair) and it's good to go after a couple of hours.
