If LL Bean does anything right, it's cozy. And this flannel certainly lives up to that: it's thick, soft and feels great against your skin. What LL Bean doesn't do great is slim. I like that they're trying, and certainly want them to keep expanding the lineup of slim fit products. I have no doubt that this flannel is slimmer than their traditional fit, but it would be a stretch to describe it as slim fit. On a slender fellow (I'm 6'1" and 165 lbs) there are several extra inches around the waist. And that's *with* a shirt on underneath. LL Bean, you're missing the opportunity to save on material costs! That said, even if the fits is slightly off it still looks and feels good and I would recommend it to others.

Nice for the price. Narrow through the shoulders. Size up and expect it'd be too big overall.

Great quality and fit, but way too long. I'm 5'4" tall and this shirt fits perfectly in the chest, shoulders, and arms. The length is crazy! I don't understand why so many clothing companies make shirts that look like they've been made for a ridiculously skinny NBA players. Their SMALL/REGULAR size is way too long for anyone of normal proportion. Maybe if they went back to making a SMALL/SHORT size, then the proportions would be better. Aside from that, the shirt looks great, material feels great, and I was very happy with it. Now I'm having to pay extra to get it tailored so it doesn't look like I'm wearing a dress.

This is a really nice shirt. I really like the color and weight of the fabric. The fit is good. If this is slim the regular must be huge. I don't like things too tight and for me this is a good fit. It would be perfect except it has a really big neck. If you order a slim fit you probably don't have a gorilla neck. ...

Bought this as a gift with the size, Medium, Slim Fit. The pattern appeared more blue and some red in the advertised photo on the website, but after opening, it has mainly jewel tones of red, green, and blue. Also, note that Slim Fit is smaller than Slightly Fitted. I ended up exchanging for a Medium, Slightly Fitted, in a different pattern. Overall, I find LL Bean flannels are still made really well. I recommend finding one in a classic pattern that fits you well to keep as a staple in your closet.

Fits well , like the slim fit. But the fabric is thinner and the seams have loose ends. Not the quality we expect of ll bean

Quality has gone down. There are other, better LL Bean flannels

Shirt appears nice but key line in the plaid design is annoyingly misaligned where the center pleat on backside of shirt meets the yoke. It makes the shirt look like a "seconds" quality. It obviously would have take just a slight shift for the seamster to make the alignment, and thus finish, look perfect. It immediately noticeable when I glanced over the shirt for problems.

I really like the flannel shirt that I received as a gift. It is nice to have 3 "fits", but I had to order additional shirt sizes to get the correct fit for me. But the fact of having to pay for return shipping means that I will not likely buy again from LLBean.

Well made shirt and quality fabric. The plaid was not aligned where the side seams are sew to the back of the shirt. The LL Bean reputation for quality did not meet my expectations.

Really nice, well made shirt. Everything is a great fit, except for the bicep area, which is a little too constricting.

If you like your flannel shirts thin, this is a good choice. If you like them thick and warm, the way llbean used to make them, then you'll be disappointed.

In doing a return got a gift card INSTEAD of a $ credit, inducing me to make another, unwanted purchase. Not an honorable way to conduct business.

Nice shirt but the colors were not as sharp as pictured. We sent it back due to the dull color. Great fit for slimmer people!

I've called llbean to ask for help, but the only help I was getting was to visit the "fit Guide", I really didn't get any. I used the fit guides to order this and it is way too big. I didn't want to make it un-returnable by washing it to shrink it. That's how we use to make flannel fit. So I'm trying to figure out what to do??

The shirt is great but the fact that you offer a size slim but not and untucket option is behind the times. Ib had to spend $20 to have a seamstress trim the shirt so it would look good untucked. I would buy more LL Bean clothing but everything comes in oversized options.

Great material just a little small after washing. Quality of products have been all over the place lately. My old shirts held up for years.

Shirt much too full for a "slim fit". Sleeves too long. The plaid is great and flannel material is soft.

I purchased a slim-fit medium Scotch plaid shirt, in the Morgan blue color. It is super baggy! The torso is too wide, and has virtually no taper, so I would only recommend this shirt for a heavy-set man. The color is beautiful, but the bagginess of the shirt will require me to always wear it under a jacket or vest (to avoid embarrassing myself). What a shame!

Disappointed because it comes more wrinkled from the dryer than other flannel shirts I have.

This is a nice shirt quality-wise and has great color. But it is not really a slim fit - too baggy.
