Nice style and fit, but sweater fleece doesn't hold up. I bought this nice vest at the Freeport store in September, but here it is only a few months later and it looks horrible. I feel as if I wasted my money. Sweater fleece pills up and catches every little bit of lint. It's one season for this piece, then in the trash it goes. If you must have a fleece, stick to traditional or sherpa - but stay away from the sweater style.

I own a blue and green men's sweater fleece vest size L and XL. After only a few wearings they begin to pill and look terrible. For the price and the LLBean brand one would expect better quality. I'm seriously considering returning the green one I bought in Nov 2024. My confidence in the Bean products in general has greatly diminished based on these two purchases. I like the fit, look and feel of this product but I can't support purchasing something that looks bad after a few wearings. I didn't purchase these for a one time use and throw away. I can only imagine that once they are washed they really look bad.

I hate the texture of the outer side of the fabric. I guess I didn't grasp what you meant by "sweater" fleece. I wanted something that feels like fleece on the outside. I will be returning this. You no longer seem to carry one like the one I bought from you ten years ago regular fleece but with a chest pocket.

You sent the wrong size. You sent a XXXL. I didn't have a chance to wear it.

I hate the collar, it just not right. I washed it three times, still not right. Not what i expected.

The exchange policy at LLBean needs to be reviewed and amended with the buying public in mind.

This is more sweater like material than fleece. I returned the item in December and I'm still waiting for a refund.

Sorry but dislike color (gray), Really dislike Logo (go back to simple LL Bean), I ordered size based on comment by other orders say comes oversize - it didn't - too tight.

This vest was was nothing but a big disappointment. It did not appear to be fleece; more like an ugly knit. Very unflattering and not cozy at all! Definitely not worth the steep price !

The last 2 jackets I bought were too big. And the material was not I expected. I hated and I won't order again.

I loved everything about the vest except it "pills." It is not just minor "pilling" it looks horrific. I bought two of these. The light colored one does not show as much, but the burgundy shows every little "pill." Will not purchase in future.

I really like the look of everything. Just such a poor fit i can't wear it. Supper wide in the stomach area. Wish i could return it but i took the tags off and wore it once.
