Bought this as it looks a little more dressy than a regular fleece vest. Fit was fine , looked great, warm, all good. I wore it on my trip to Maine and NH for thanksgiving, noticed after a couple of days that the fabric was starting to pill up especially around the pockets. At the end of the week my daughter said it looked like it was a season old.

Not like other fleece bean vests I've had in past. A little heavier as well. I like it but would of preferred something with more or only fleece.

Cotton! Wool! Suede! Leather! These are the only fabrics appropriate for clothing. Anything I've ever owned that was made of "recycled" polyester lasted only a short time, and this vest is no exception. Though I line dry the garment, it has "pilled" badly after just one season of wear.

Runs a little big for being fit per the description

This is a well made product, but too heavy for Europe this year. I did not realize it had been slightly tapered, raising the internal temperature even more.

Looks good, but not a particularly robust vest for warmth. Thinner than I thought it would be, and the chest pocket leaves a little to be desired for those with larger phones.

I would not have purchased this vest for my boyfriend if I had known it had the LLBean label on it. I'm not doing your advertising. I have seen a few shirts and jackets that I would have purchased for him, but they had that darn label on it so went to another store.

Its not as warm as I hoped and the collar candy seem to be able to decide if it should stay up or down. It doesn't stay folded.

Comes with an annoying IIBean tag other than that, well done.

Husband loves the vest, except the collar. He prefer collars that lay flat. Otherwise, he's happy with this purchase.

It's nice but not what I expected! I have an all conditions vest from Bean , I was thinking it might similar in fabric !!

Sizing continues to remain a mystery with LLBean. This runs a little larger than standard sizes.

Needs a left front pocket. This is a nice vest but it needs a front pocket

Well-made, warm vest. This was too heavy, not a light fleece. We returned it and LL Bean quickly refunded the money.

The. Collar is quite high. If you want to wear it casually, it's a bit tall.

Nice vest but main zipper difficult to connect. Considering return.

Didn't notice that it was slighted fitted until I tried it on. It is more snug than i would have liked.

Nice vest and good fit but a lot of pilling and around collar where it rubs on the neck. Not really up to the LL Bean standards that I have come to expect and appreciate. I would not recommend this product to others who want a quality long lasting garment.

This vest has a fleece interior with a knitted cotton exterior. See picture attached. Not what I was looking for.

I have owned various LL Bean fleece vests over the years but this is the first one that has a zip up collar that is too narrow for my liking. It has a hard time staying folded down (with a v-neckl type opening). The polyester cording arounf the edge of the collar causes the collar ends to point up when trying to keep it folded down. Lastly I prefer a fuzzy fleece outer and not this knit type fleece they call "sweater fleece".

This vest was a titch too large. Well made, nice. It needed a pull string at the bottom to improve fit

Fits great in the chest but the waist and hip area is way to baggy. It needs a drawstring to cinch the vest tighter around the hips depending on the clothing worn.

Vest is true to size, Coller turns up when zipped up BUT the zipper pulls are too small & do not have any tabs making it hard to impossible to move with cold fingers or gloved hands, the other LLB vest I have all have have pull tab added to zipper pulls but this does not -- vest returned !

soft, comfortable, stretchy, but kind of boring. yet it gets the job done just fine.

I am a lifetime fan & customer of LL Bean. Hundreds of purchases and lots of repeat purchases. However, I have purchase 2 sweater vest and 2 full zip...and I am not a fan. After 3-4 weeks starts to pill significantly and becomes unsightly within a couple of months. Conversely I have purchased numerous fleece products and they pretty much look brand new after many years. So, sweater vests are functionally great and look sharp for a short while and then get ugly. Not buying any more.
