I have bought several of these vests in the past and they have served me well. I wish they were a little heavier for the winter months in the Boston area, but they do serve to be a nice layer for the average day.

This seems well made but the fabric on the outside is smooth and not fuzzy as I expect and like. A smooth outer shell just does not feel as warm to me as those that have more texture on both sides.

I'm 6'2" and weigh 232. I ordered the XL-Tall and found it to be enormous! I'll be exchanging for the old reliable "Classic Fleece Vest" in XL-Regular. One other quibble: The hip pockets and the breast pocket have zipper pulls that (a) are very small, and (b) do not have pull chords. I imagine that finding, grasping and unzipping these pockets in cold weather with heavy gloves will be very frustrating.

A quality product. The zippered cellphone pocket on the left breast is a nice touch, but as a wearer of a pacemaker, I wish the pocket was on the right side so that I could use it.

Seems fine, as LLBean products almost always are, except is was very loose around the waist. It needs to be fitted much less baggy. Fits fine though the chest

Fine, warm, quality product, though a bit costly. Problems: VERY hard to align zipper to pull up to close vest. Also, Very Hard to align zipper to unzip at bottom. I really should give 3 rating because of those. Also, there is a tiny cloth bump/protrusion on the inside brown/green strip. I care about that because I fold up that strip several inches for my individual wearing comfort. Jim

Vest style and color are good. Fit was true to size for a large. Collar comes up a little higher than I like, but manageable. Have not been able to see how warm this is compared other vests I own. Hopefully comparable on cool days, but still TBD as of now.

I was looking for something a little heavier. It would be helpful if outer garments were rated light, medium or heavy weight.

Long back makes this vest

I like this vest, but the collar stands up and will look a little odd with a shirt. If the vest is zipped all the way up it covers my chin.

I enjoy the warmth of the vest. It is not fleecey like my other ones but still quite enjoyable and comfortable! Nice high collar when turned up helps protect the back on my neck too!!

Initially ordered a medium based on customer reviews and found it to be a bit snug. Reordered a large which is fine.

Looks great and finish is very good. Fit is overall very good with just a little too much room in midsection, chest is spot on. I wish the collar was not quite as tall as it is meant to stand up. For reference I ordered a medium, 6'1" 180, size 32 waist.

I purchased this vest not realizing that it's a knitted material. Nonetheless, it's a nice addition to my wardrobe. I ordered an extra-large and it's a tad bit too big. I am happy with the color and it will match my everyday style.

I was skeptical of the sweater fleece, but I love my other fleece vests and would live in them if I could. I needed a navy blue one, so ordered the sweater fleece. Sold on it, too! The only complaint I have is that if I need the collar to fold down, it pops back up, but that's minor.

My husband loves his fleece vest. This sweater fleece is much better than the standard fleece vest for keeping pet hair off of it. We have two cats and my husband's vest is usually loaded with cat fur. But the sweater fleece is easy to brush the cat hair off of. It does run a little wide in the body, so I ordered the medium instead of his actual size large. Since there are no sleeves on the vest it isn't a problem that the shoulder width is a couple inches short for him. This way the body fits perfectly to his trim body type. He likes it so much that I ordered a second one for him.

The material has a nice knit quality as opposed to the standard fuzzy fleece so it does feel like a light sweater. Good quality zippers. As I fall in the neverland between sizes on the sizing chart the size medium is a big loose around the waist. Since I use it indoors only I did not try out the small, but it would likely bunch up underneath a coat.

Good quality for every day casual wear

I read a great many of the reviews of this vest before purchasing it; I didn't see any comments about the two things that bother me: 1) The fleece has a sweater finish and, to me at least, it feels weird. I didn't like it. 2) The armholes are HUGE, they hang half way to the waist and bunch up so much that the vest can't be smoothed down. Very uncomfortable and tacky looking. I'd return it but the $6.95 fee is a bit steep. So I'll foist it off on my BIL for Christmas; he has bigger arms, maybe it will work for him. All in all, very disappointing. It is a nice-looking vest -- if you're not wearing it.

I like the warmth and lightness and it looks good!

This is our 2nd purchase. My husband liked the first vest, so I had to buy another one for him. He loves all the pockets and it is nice and warm. The only issue is when the vest is washed, you get this pilling (small fuzzy balls) on the fabric. We notice it more on the dark blue color, than the lighter gray.

An aesthetically pleasing and comfortable overall fit to be worn over a long sleeve shirt or even a light sweater as an extra layer. My only mild disappointment was I expected a heavier, more insulated vest. This product provides a little extra warmth but would suggest a heavier vest if venturing out into a chillier outdoor activity like skiing. This vest is dressier and looks sharp and neat plus enjoying the Paprika color that blends will with folks who have a darker complexion.

I love these vests! Only problem each new model seems to lose little details that make LLBean-so sad........
