I bought this in navy from the retail store. I wasn't shopping for a jacket, but when I saw it on display, with a navy and green plaid scarf, well, I couldn't resist! Haven't regretted it for a second. It's my go to coat (and it's winter in the northeast) unless it's actually freezing outside. With a sweater underneath, this jacket keeps me warm, which is surprising because it is very light. I agree with the other reviews that the zipper isn't the best. It just takes a second more to align the two pieces but I usually use the snaps if I'm in a hurry. I think it's a classic and hope it will be in style for years.

I love this coat. Fits great! Love the navy blue color. I also have several of the Quilted Riding Vests. The only thing I don't like is the double zipper. I just never liked them. I would buy again.

I love this coat! I get compliments every time I wear it. Customer service was amazing as well! Was shocked when a person answered right away when I called to exchange sizes.

Jacket is as nice as pictured. Well made, fits well (I'm a pretty standard size 8), nice styling, comfortable. Very happy with my purchase

This jacket is warm without being heavy and bulky. I live in western Colorado and it works just fine when temps are even below freezing with a sweater or fleece underneath. It fits nicely and you don't look like the Michelin Man when wearing it. I really like it!

I live in Boston, and this jacket is great for (almost) year round. It is warm but is not heavy at all, so it is very easy to pack and works in lots of environments. I have it in two colors.
I recommend sizing up because it is nice to be able to wear sweaters and scarves underneath.

The jacket fit well by itself and with a heavy sweater underneath because of the tab adjustments at the back. Though it is a petite, the sleeves were long enough that I was able to turn then out, showing the attractive lining. I loved the ivy color as well.

Love everything about this jacket! The fit is perfect and I love the long sleeve length because you can roll up the cuff to expose the stylish plaid - I bought a scarf that nearly matches the plaid and wow - looks just great!
I wasn't sure I'd like the color. I got the Navy and LL Bean Navy is often too dark for my coloring - but it works for me.
Lightweight yet warm. Very cute and feminine fit and style. There is nothing not to like about this jacket!
Two way zipper AND snaps - super cute plaid lining - corduroy on back of collar - PERFECT!

I debated between ordering Medium or Large. I wear either M or L in shirts, and I am a size 12/14 in pants. I ended up ordering Medium because I was looking for a more tailored fit, and it fits beautifully! Sometimes M for me can be too tight in sleeves, but this jacket has just enough room for light layering, and it zips up well. Sleeves not too long or short. I am very happy!

Bought this in the petite XS in the navy and I love it. I am 5'3 and around 130lbs and it fits me great. Good length and the arms aren't too long. I don't have any trouble with it being too tight in the chest/shoulders and I am fairly busty. It is good for mild days, not winter weather where I am from.

Am happy I overlooked the negative comments, I am 5'4", 145 lbs on a good day. I bought the medium and have ample room in chest and arms and I am busty. I tried it on over 2 light weight layers and comfort was great. Did not try heavy layers with it since if it was that cold, would wear a different coat.

Reviews are the reason I chose this jacket and I am so glad I did! I chose the black with green interior and am nothing but pleased with the turn out of the colors, fabric and fit.
The biggest thing I read when looking at this online was the fit and I went into the store close by to try it on. I'm 5'6" and about 130 lbs so I ended with the XSmall which still gives me plenty of room for sweaters and layering.
The sleeves aren't too long in my opinion, they're long enough for me to comfortably roll up the sleeves or keep them down if I'd like.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this jacket for fall/spring because it's great and I'm looking forward to getting real use of it once the weather truly permits!

This jacket is perfect for the northern Florida area! Lots of pockets and lightweight enough to ride! Have been looking for a jacket like this for awhile and this fits the bill perfectly! True to size!

This jacket is just perfect for wear when the weather turns cool. The plaid lining is very attractive and the corduroy on the back of collar and snap placket is a nice touch. The fits is great over a sweater - - not too tight or too loose.

I recently purchased this jacket after debating between this and one of the Barbour polarquilt jackets. I ended up purchasing this one because it is more than $100 less. I'm usually a 4-6 in tops, depending on the brand, but purchased an XS and still have room for layers.

This is a stylish jacket and well made and a perfect mid-season weight. I loved the Paprika color. Usually I am a 1X with LLBean but sometimes I can get away with XL - so I was hoping. Unfortunately I had to return it as it was a bit snug across the chest. I wish it was available in Women's sizes.

I was underwhelmed by this jacket at first and didn't plan to keep it but then I ordered a size down and the smaller size was a winner. I am 5'4" 125 pounds and usually order petite small in jackets to have room for layering underneath. That size looked frumpy on me, but I actually want to wear the petite x-small and it'll still layer fine over all but my thickest sweaters.
This jacket appears REALLY thin and at first I thought "this is not LL Bean quality" but it's surprisingly warm for its weight and better yet with a mid-weight sweater or thin fleece underneath. It will work for much of the winter here in NC, and I look forward to traveling with it because it packs small and is dressier than a puffer-style jacket but still practical.
Would give this jacket 5 stars if it had an interior pocket for a phone - I'd gladly pay $5 more to have that, especially as the hand pockets are not especially deep.

The style of the jacket was nice; I liked the cream/ivory color.not yellowish at all. Sleeves a little long but looked ok turned up. I had to return as body of coat a little too fitting. Next size sold out. I like this style much more than the current one that is available.

It keeps me warm, but the shape is not very flattering. I can't tell if it's the bulkier sleeves (which I know is to allow for room for layering) or if doesn't shape nicely around the waist (despite the adjustable straps in the back).

Great coat. Just a bit big. I went bigger so I could layer clothes under. Don't hesitate to order your normal size.
