The model looked so cute, I bought it to wear with dark jeans or long dresses or skirts- it fits perfectly through the bust and hips, not too long, sleeves are just long enough. The shirt is super soft and a bit structured- I did iron just the pockets after it came out of the dryer. I would want to wear it every day!

I am going to the beach on vacation in April and needed something for cool days. This shirt is perfect and fits great. I have wanted a denim shirt for a while now and I love this one. I have already worn it, washed it and know it is going to be one of my favorites from ll bean. Thank you for another great product.

It is sooo difficult to find a women's good denim shirt. When I saw LL Bean had one I ordered it. Just got it today, tried it on and threw it in my washer so I can wear it tomorrow! It is a mostly boxy shirt (yay!) with 2 pockets. It is long on me (falls below hip), which is how I like it. I'm ordering 2 more right now.

I love denim, and this is the real deal! Soft, great fabric and weight, nicely fitted, high quality, absolutely perfect in every way!

Finally, a real cotton denim shirt! Not bamboo, not blend, not acrylic, not lyocell, but really cotton. Bean, this is what you have been known for all these years, and you're finally back to the good stuff. PERFECT denim shirt. Not too fitted, not too baggy, not too long, not to short, not distressed with holes and tears. Just the almost perfect shirt. Did I say almost? Could have been made in the USA. Many of us would be willing to pay more for that.

I was very happy to find this shirt after years of searching for replacements for the favorite denim tops I had a long time ago. It is a simple, classic style that can be dressed up or down with ease. Ever so slightly fitted for a flattering profile. The sleeves are a little long for me (no surprise since I'm short), but since I'm a sleeve-roller anyway, it wasn't an issue. The fabric is soft and comfortable, is a nice weight, and drapes well. I hope Bean keeps this one in stock for a long time to come.

This denim shirt is exactly what I have been waiting for. It really isn't easy to find but this one is great! The fabric is not too heavy and not too light. The fit is what I prefer in a denim shirt. I could wear a tee underneath and still be comfortable. I did not put it in the dryer following the wash and therefore, I felt the need to iron it. That is my preference. It is a classic style but the fit can be tucked in or comfortably worn out. Thank you L.L.Bean

Nothing better than a nice jean shirt. I bought this to wear as a layer over long sleeve tees or sweatshirts for hikes and yard work. Great quality shirt. It really fits the bill and I can see it being a long time favorite.

I'm looking forward to wearing this shirt. I purposely bought a bigger size so I can wear it with leggings. It looks cuter in person than online. Please make this in a darker denim.

I purchased this shirt to wear on the airplane under a sweater traveling north to south. It was perfect when I needed the warmth but also great when it got warmer and I took off the sweater. I love the feel of the comfy fabric and it went well with a scarf or jewelry. Have worn it several times since and really love it.

As always I am totally satisfied with my purchase. This denim shirt fit perfectly and looks great.

I purchased this shirt with reservations, hoping that it would look classic and not frumpy. I love the classic heritage look and quality. The fit is good for me, somewhat relaxed, with a bit of shaping and bust darts. The fabric is soft and not stiff. I find it is comfortable and a good weight. There are stitching details on the collar and hem. One caveat - the sleeves are just long enough for me, so perhaps would be too short for someone with long arms.

I've been searching for a denim shirt for quite some time, and, like Goldilocks, some were too thick, some too thin, but this one is just right. Even right out of the package it was soft but substantial. I'm taller and the length of the shirt was perfect for me. There's enough room to layer over a tee comfortably. Maybe I'll order another since this is such a perfect denim shirt.

This shirt is very well made and has nice details, such as two front pockets, a small LLBean tag at the bottom front hem, and little gussets on the lower sides. It did have a strong odor, but after several washings with vinegar rinses, the odor seems to have dissipated. I purchased this in a size S. I weigh 110 pounds and am 5'2" tall, and it fit very well. I purchased it to wear as a light covering over a short sleeve Tee Shirt when jackets are too warm. It fits that purpose very well.

This indigo denim shirt is a classic that can be worn under, over, and for a long time. This is my second one as the first shirt mixed with some fresh oil on the beach which never affected the wear of the fabric just my preference for sporting a gorgeous shirt now stained with industrial oil. So, I love this top which is long enough to wear out or tucked in. The fabric is exceptional Indian cotton which is very tough though beautiful and so comfortable. Thank you LLBean for continuing this classic!

Great shirt, just a little too stiff still. I was hoping for a more lightweight shirt but I think after several more wearings and washings the shirt will be perfect.

I'm 5'1" between 110-120 lbs, bought in petite small. Looks slightly large but it is not fitted anyway. The material is thick. Gave it four stars because it is off gassing formaldehyde and will need to be aired and washed repeatedly to get that denim-preservative smell out.

The shirt fits well and is a good length. It is on the heavier side. So it is better for colder weather or as an overshirt. The construction is excellent.

This denim shirt is very well made. I like the fit but the faded color is not the best on me. The darker color was sold out at the time I purchased this one and I think it may look better on me.

The fabric felt great. I reallly liked the light indigo color too. It was too faded just a lighter denim color. I purchased this shirt in my recommended size - XL regular. I am 5'4 and usually wear XL shirts from LL Bean. The sleeves were about 2" too long. The shirt tail hung at low hip. I returned it and will try the petite length.

Excellent quality, generous sizing, built to last. I like oversized, loose clothing, and I got that with XL in this shirt. Terrific layering shirt to have available when it's a little chilly. The only problem is the button holes are too small, and it comes out of the dryer rumpled, needs some ironing if you still do that. Definitely worth $40 on sale, but IMO $70 is ridiculous.
