We love it very comfy!

This shirt meets my needs. Classic denim styling and material, this is the second one I'm purchasing from Bean and still have the first one. I love simple. Fit and finish are what I expected and what was delivered.

As a middle-aged lady that is fairly thin, it's a challenge finding clothes in my size at the local mall. I order almost everything online. I ordered an XS. This is a nice, basic denim shirt that looks good layered over a blouse or t shirt. It's more of a classic, loose cut which is what I wanted since I plan to layer it. The sides add a feminine touch. I was torn, but decided to order the darker color and really like it. My only complaint is the buttons aren't super easy to button. But not a deal breaker. Washed once. I did iron it but only because I'm OCD about my clothes. I hope to get a lot of use from this shirt this Spring.

Love this shirt; great fit and quality. However, here's an observation I have made about L L Bean's "sizing chart". Typically I wear a size 8. According to Bean's sizing chart, I would order a "small". But from past experience a Bean's "small" is a little tight and the sleeves are too short. So I order Bean's "medium" which corresponds better with department stores' size 8.

I bought the lighter denim shade of this shirt and few months back and when I saw that there was a darker denim, I stapped it right up. This shirt is not too heavy nor too light, easy to wash & dry, and it looks great -- it's the essential Goldilocks purchase: just right!

I have wanted a denim shirt for years. The fabric on some was too lightweight. Others too heavy. Some looked like they had taken men's denim shirts and slapped women's sizes on them. The Bean ladies denim is perfect in weight and styling. I further like the hidden side darts on the front. Initially ordered a large which fit perfect. With the shirt being 100% cotton I didn't want to chance it shrinking even a wee bit. Sent back and re-ordered the XL and I am glad I did. Not too sloppy looking at all. Good fit for me.

I really like this shirt and is now a go to one. Fits well and is soft.

I bought it for layering-- so got a large though I'm a medium. It's a great fit, good length, generous but not baggy. Washes beautifully. True denim color. Excellent shirt all around.

Bean, you did it again! This is a wonderful shirt. The material is nice, the color is nice (I bought the darker blue), it washes and dries well with a minimum of wrinkles. If you want zero wrinkles, dry the shirt in the dryer until it's still a little damp, then hand iron it (smooth it on a flat surface with your hand-both sides) and hang it up to dry. Make sure to button all the buttons. You will be very happy with the results. I wear a petite xsmall. The fit is perfect. i could wear a little something under it but i don't think I will. I like this shirt as a stand-alone shirt. It's that nice. I wouldn't mind if it were a little shorter, but that's me, and I'm from an earlier generation. I hope you all buy one and enjoy wearing it. I love this shirt. It fits me perfectly and I wear it over sleeveless tops or short-sleeve knit tops. It would also be great to wear buttoned up. Denim goes with every thing!

I love this shirt, LL Bean is the best!! I live in Arizona and don't always need a heavy coat, so this extra large fits perfectly over my medium and large flannel LL Bean shirts. If I do need extra warmth, I just wear my LL Bean vest!! Thank you for keeping this senior citizen styling!!

I wasn't sure what size to order, but went on reviews and past experience. The shirt fits well, and is roomy enough for a turtleneck underneath. It also washes well and gets softer after each wash. I hope you keep this item and add a darker denim color as well.

This was great from out of the package! The softness of the cotton fabric, length of the sleeves and shirt were perfect - this is a shirt I can live in and feel completely comfortable. Loved the perfect light denim color which goes well with the different color T's I wear underneath as well as on it's own! I'm thinking of ordering a spare because of how often I reach for this shirt. Please keep this in your inventory!

Mid weight denim shirt looks good and is functional. I purchased the petite XL and it was a perfect fit. Washed well and came out of the dryer wrinkle free. I liked the lighter color denim.

I love this shirt both buttoned up or open over a T-shirt. Its high quality fabric and finishes, comfy fit and color will serve me well for years to come.

This is a well made shirt that will last for a long time! I love it for layering in temps where you don't need a heavier jacket, and it is good for air conditioning but not too hot for outside summer temps. This shirt will also never go out of style.

This denim shirt is great. I order a large, because sometimes mediums are a bit small but this large is quite big. Which is okay. My only problem was that there was about an 1/8 inch interfacing showing on the collar band. I thought about sending it back, but decided to try and trim it. I'm surprised it made it passed inspection. Overall it's the perfect denim shirt.

This is real, cotton denim with a soft comfortable familiar feel. I tried it on for fit when it came and have not taken it off yet. I have several other denim shirts which fit and look good, but this one also FEELS good. I had almost forgotten why we all loved denim to begin with. It is that comfortable easy feeling that is missing in synthetic denims. This shirt will remind you immediately of that favorite denim shirt from college that you wore until it was in tatters. I am in love with it. As far as fit goes, I have a size L bust, shoulders, arms. I have a size XL butt. A classic pear. This shirt is too tight in the butt for me to button the bottom button and second last button is tight so right now I am wearing it unbuttoned over tee shirts. I have been losing weight for the last 19 months so I expect that when I drop 5-10 more pounds, the bottom buttons will close and bust will be getting baggier.

Best denim shirt I have ever purchased. Material is soft yet substantial. Doesn't easily wrinkle. Length is perfect. Neither too long or too short.

I spent months going to Good Will and consignment shops looking for the perfect denim shirt. Never found it, and the prices were not that good. Decided to treat myself and I couldn't be happier with this shirt. Great weight, washes well, beautiful shade of blue. I look forward to years of wear.
