This is a classic. It goes well under a sweater or by itself. I am not a person who likes to review products but this one is so right in fit, style, quality and looks that I am making an exception.

I bought 3 of the denim shirts. One for myself, one for my daughter and one for a friend. I absolutely love it! The weight and fit is perfect! It is my go to with leggings or to layer up to go fishing with family! Will continue to buy from LLBean. Have never been disappointed yet! Thank you for offering such quality products!

OK, it's soft, fits well, not too thick and not too thin. Love the longer length. Added bonus - I like shirts that have two pockets over your boobs so you can away with leaving your bra in the drawer! I ordered the light blue one right away. Love this shirt!

Really like it. Have wanted a shirt or jacket and this is perfect. Just what I wanted. It can be an overshirt or light jacket.

This shirt fits well - a little loose but that is what I like. I always wear a size large in LL Bean shirts (I am a size 12). The denim is a little heavy but that is what I wanted. It will look great with white jeans in the spring.

Beautiful, Comfortable and the Fit was perfect - Not too tight nor too loose, covers my entire bum but not too long either. For reference I have a 30" waist and 39" hips. There's enough room to wear a tee underneath to layer. Sturdy fabric -May last for a number of years. I bought the medium indigo as well as the dark plum rose. I wish there were more colors available.

I received the dark denim shirt as a gift. The fit is perfect to wear with leggings. It's not to big and it's isn't to small. I am 40 DD, I have wide shoulders, I am a size 30 in my waist. I normally wear a 10 to 12 in pants. The large was the perfect size for me. The shirt should last for a long time for me. The quality in this material is great. I will say the material is on the heavy duty side. You could wear as a jacket or just as a shirt. The shirt does cover my butt.

Great shirt! I'm a sucker for denim shirts and I have quite a few. Was happy to add this one to my collection. Nice dark color, good fit, and very well made. Hope to wear it for years to come!

My old denim shirt was dying and now has been added to the painting and weeding clothing. This new one fits well and has room for two thin layers. Although I'd never call it a stiff fabric, I am hoping it will soften with use.

I can always depend on LL Bean to provide great fitting clothing. I can't think of one thing I've ever had to send back.

I originally got the Mineral Red Heritage Washed shirt. I liked it so well and really liked the material and fit that I ordered the two denims. I have looked for a really good denim shirt for years. So often I don't like the color. Too much black in the denim or green so it doesn't go with other denim items. This color is so good. The material is great and fit really works for me.

I had been looking for a denim shirt for a while and this one fit "the look" I wanted. Originally order a large (I'm normally a size 12). It did fit - like a regular shirt but I wanted a looser fit. Something I could wear a white t-shirt under plus I didn't want to chance it shrinking so I exchanged it for an XL. And yes, the XL is a bit large but I still prefer it to the regular "large". Washed and dried with no problems.

This shirt will be an essential item in my wardrobe. I'll wear it with a variety of pants and tie it at the waist with a maxi skirt. The fabric is thicker than what I expected, which is a positive. Nice casual shade of blue. It's a classic!

I looked at several denim shirts before ordering this one to replace my old denim shirt that literally fell apart after years and years of wear. I saw a couple that had a bit more "style" but opted for this one because I wanted something that would wear and wear. The added bonus is that I could order this in petite to get one that fit my arms and wasn't way too long. I got the dark wash which is a dark (as expected) but I hope will fade some over time. I have worn it enough already that family members have said "I guess we know what is your favorite shirt!"

I ordered the small first, and then exchanged for an extra small petite. Love how it fits me. Even the sleeve length is good.

I love this denim shirt! It fits well alone or over a t-shirt. I had ordered a denim shirt from another well known company and was greatly disappointed in the quality of the denim. I returned it and ordered this shirt. I am very pleased with the quality of the denim, and it is well made. This shirt washes well and will be my go to shirt for fall to spring.

I love this shirt. I ordered a large for an oversized look. It fits comfortably loose but not baggy. I wanted it to knock around in and wear over leggings. I am 5'5' and curvy, it covers my tush completely but not too long. The fabric is soft after one cold water wash and a quick iron. I did hang it to dry as is my preference. This is just what I wanted.
