This is a well made traditional denim shirt. I wear XL Petite and these are hard to find in denim shirts! Thanks LL Bean.

I normally wear a small in t shirts and short sleeve shirts, but sometimes a medium in long sleeve shirts due to long arms and broad shoulders. The medium was perfect, plenty of room for a t shirt or fitted long sleeve t shirt underneath and I can button it up if I choose to wear it on its own. It is made well. I haven't washed it, but don't expect any problems.

It's September and I'm wearing this shirt everyday, love it. I'm long in leg and short-waisted so I order the "Petite" M and it fits perfect (including the shoulders). I can wear it alone or over a tank/t/or long sleeved first layer. Very well constructed. Thank you LL Bean!

So often what you see is not what you get. This shirt was EXACTLY what it appears to be. The fit was perfect and the quality superb. It makes me look forward to ordering from LL Bean again.

I purchased this shirt in a darker blue a couple of months ago. I liked it so much I ordered the lighter blue too. Now I keep grabbing one or the other to toss on over a t-shirt and I'm good to go.

I love this soft chambray over my T-shirt for when walking my dog during the summer mornings when it is not yet warm enough for solo shirt and too warm for a sweatshirt.

I love the fit and versatility of this shirt. Perfect length and excellent quality. Not to heavy or to light.

I normally wear a small - I am between a 6 and a 8. I tried both small and medium and kept the medium. I like this as almost a jacket over a t-shirt in early morning, or the end of the day. If you prefer more fitted go true to size. The quality is really good, a step above others I have tried elsewhere.

Loved this shirt. I prefer a more relaxed fit and this shirt was perfect.

I am 81 and still put up my own hay for my horses. In today's heat of 89 degrees that felt like 95, I wore this shirt to prevent sunburn. It was comfortable, despite the heat and humidity. It was actually too nice to wear on a tractor but it is difficult to find a denim shirt. LLBean always comes through with whatever I need. Also, love my LLBean jeans! This is a true review--I love what I do.

I couldn't make up my mind on which denim shirt I should buy, whether the light or the dark shade. So I decided to purchase both and I'm so happy I did. The denim shirt is so comfortable and launders very well, but I do not dry my clothes in the dryer. The medium was a little large, but would be great if you wanted to wear a tee shirt or tank top under it. I opted to wear it buttoned up with a pair of jeans or sometimes I bring it along and use it as a light jacket unbuttoned. For comparison I am 5'4" 140 lbs and a 36D. Every wardrobe should have a denim shirt in it!

Like the weight of the cloth. Fits well.

Really liked the shirt a lot - but too long for my taste. My widest part of the body is my hips and I look much better in a shorter length shirt. For those who like a longer shirt - you will love it!

Bought this shirt In a large to wear over tees on a cool morning/evening. It's a heavier denim and a little stiff but I haven't washed it yet. Happy with the purchase.

This shirt is soft & dressy enough to wear anyplace you want to go. I get cold on restaurants & the movie theater & this is just the right weight to be warm but not uncomfortable & too bulky.

Absolutely LOVE it. It felt like a soft. well-worn comfy shirt I would prefer on any day. Well sewn, excellent button placement, and sturdy. I will probably be ordering another of these shirts. I love denim so this, along with a pair of comfortable jeans will be my attire for almost any casual occasion. Keep up the great work on women's clothing. Sleeve length was perfect and the breast pocket placement was perfect, too.

This shirt is well made. It is roomy and can be worn comfortably over a long-sleeve tee. It is heavy enough for to be worn as a light-weight jacket. I have worn it with a down vest in chilly weather and have been comfortable.

Perfect denim shirt, soft fabric and the fit is great! Also, a pleasant color blue. I don't like a denim shirt too dark but this was just what I was looking for,!!!

I live in the southern, rural, U.S. This denim shirt gets frequent use as a light jacket, over a t-shirt, or under a sweater or sweatshirt. It is nicely stitched, has two buttoned chest pockets, and never gets ironed if I hang it up out of the dryer. It is a useful piece of clothing for a casual, minimal wardrobe like mine.

This shirt has the exact weight, cut, and look. It's an instant favorite.
